The slower pace is necessary and complimentary to the drifty nature of the song and Maggie's floating vocals. Floaty and drifty, as lame a description as it sounds, is literally the character of the song.
Still a wonderful song to listen to in repeat. How I miss listening to the radio late at night waiting for songs like this to play so that I could record them on a cassette and then have my quality playlist. There was something magic that got lost on the way. I feel that the more we evolute, the more we quickly lose innocence and appreciation for simple things like listening to a good song with the heart and not with the ears.

Fun fact, one of the producers of Cascada also had a moderate hit in my country (NL) with a cover of Bryan Adams " Heaven" ft. singer Do. They completely understand the game they're in and i'm all here for it!

I was tonight years old when I discovered that this wasn't Cascada's song originally (I knew that "Truly Madly Deeply" was a cover, but not this!) This is beautiful and it's awesome to be introduced to it after all these years, I mean how could it not be beautiful? It's the "Moonlight Shadow" singer. It's awesome that I now have two versions of this song to listen to. :)
I read this and thought "wait, savage garden didn't write truly madly deeply??" And only after finding Cascada's version did I realize what you meant 😅

I always preferred the original over Cascada's version and I'm not sure about Electric Callboy (though their video is great).
