Strange how a death introduces you to things that you may never of heard of. I only started listening to Billy Joe after Norm Macdonald died and I started watching a lot of his content. Even though I've been listening to outlaw country for years, I'd never heard of him. Waylon is one of my favourites too. Shows how much I know.
Shaver did a whole lot of writing for people like Waylon and Willy in the 70s, He even wrote a whole album for Waylon Jennings, "Honky Tonk Heroes". Lots of great stuff between them. I love Waymores Blues quite a bit.
