  • Three Days from Ritual de lo Habitual - great guitar playing from Dave Navarro.
This is one of the harder track's of Jane's Addiction to learn, 10 mnutes of it - a few mistakes in there.

Did you catch them at The Roundhouse ? Ive been revitilised again can't stop listening to them again - Then She Did was magical. Cover ?

Didn't get to the Roundhouse in the end, kinda wish I had to get the bigger venue sound but happy to see them in Bush Hall, just wish they'd played more songs, seem to have a shorter setlist than most bands. Then She Did is a corker! have to get going on the covers again mate

Another great band with that unique Navarro sound. How many guitars do you actually have? It seems you use a rich variety, Austin. Did you listen to that 69 Eyes one? I also recently found Darkwave music, and they have a solid goth sound. I've had a few exchanges with them already. You might find something on their set list that tweaks another one for the list. Mind you, I'd like to hear your take on Tom Sawyer by Rush. Something about the guitar riff in that keeps popping into my head.

I was still living in Northern UK (near Yarm - smalltown England!) when I heard Jane's, sounded really out there, this LA psychedelic rock band, quite differentt to what I was listening to at the time. Have 7 guitars Gary but always looking to add to the collection, have a few I'd still like to get my hands on

@@AlternativeGuitars ahh, the ways of the collector. Know the feeling as per other reply. I find loads of Stuff via UA-cam recommendations now too. Hence the Darkwave thing. They also stream radio from that era most of the day too. Which is quite cool!

Its not too bad if you break it down in sections, its the soloing and different melodies Navarro came up with that I find tricky - how the hell he came up with this monster and the guitar parts - mental
