@@KennyAronoffOfficial I had the pleasure of watching you perform only one time with Meloncamp in Glens Falls NY, though the year I am uncertain, '82 maybe? Great show and the drums were forward enough in the mix, which was fantastic for me. Killer guitar riffs make me want to get wild on the drums. For me drums create the motion, like the engine of the song and the guitar is the gasoline. If not for youtube, I would have missed so many great performances. I love the stories about your career. My career path interupted my musical path unfortunately. Now retired, I am finally able to play in bands and record music. I played a show in September for 3 hours. I have to admit, I had a hard time keeping up. 5 fast Hendrix tunes in the mix. Before learning those tunes, I didn't know the energy involved. Constant motion.

John is not only an amazing player, but I think he has a special ability to remember things. I wonder if he has a photographic memory or he just has ear trained and practiced so much that he doesn't have to remember songs, he just hears it in his head and instantly knows how to make it come out of his guitar. Unreal.

When he started playing "Georgia" my eyes filled with tears and I was a snot-nosed kid again, listening to records I'd bought with money I earned mowing lawns...those days are gone and I'm soon to follow but I lived through some good times and have few regrets...thank you John 5, for taking me back there for a few minutes.

That’s QUEEN, but I think even BRIAN would be impressed with this interpretation 😮 I heard Keith Moon learned a lot from Gene . Brilliant muted solo melody playing there….14:08 ….Holy Moses…lol…Love the way he hammers the notes with his left hand and abrupts the notes with the kill switch like Buckethead and combines it with tonal plec scrapes. And behind the nut too.❤

If this doesn't show that a Tele can do it all I don't know what does! He's an amazing player I watch him play all day and not get bored so many styles and influences 👌🙌

What the other guys in Motley Crue are trying to do to Mick Mars is absolutely criminal. What has always driven Crue's success is the guitar riffs and Mick is the guy who wrote ALL OF THEM.

listening to metal and rock'n'roll since I was a kid when I met John5 in 2002 I learned country and many other styles on the guitar thanks to him and his solo album Vertigo it seems to me, yes today Today my musical culture and more extensive on the guitar is largely thanks to him

We grew up in the generation of Hee Haw. He said in an interview that he was highly influenced by Hee Haw and the guitar players on the show. I wasn't a fan of his time with Manson but doesn't change the fact he's a great guitarist.
