I don't like how JM was trying to handle the Plaintiff at certain points in this case... at one point, she even had to admit being wrong after she had JUST dismissed something the Plaintiff was trying to present to her. Like, geez, lady! Hush and let the litigants speak w/o always feeling the need to cut them off once you hear ONE thing you object to 😒🙄.
Looking at it thru her POV she dismissed it because she didn't know the handle could affect the use of the door and if the judge allowed every litigant to go on and on about things that are not pertinent to the case she would be there all day trying to decide one case. Dismissing things that seem frivolous saves time and confusion. If the handle actually had nothing to do with the function of the door then she wouldn't need to hear about it because a broken handle doesn't warrant an entirely new oven. HOWEVER I can also see your side, about listening to all the facts of the case before making a ruling. She could've handled that a little differently but the defendant did her job for her and basically told on himself.
