Brian seems like he's a down-to-Earth, super nice kind of guy? If I was to meet him, I would tell him, "Thank You for all the years of musical enjoyment."
I’ve seen countless interviews and he is without a doubt the nicest, most down to earth, and most fun loving bloke I’ve seen. He’s also got a great sense of humour. He’s the type of guy you’d go to a local pub to have a couple pints and share stories.
Bon had mentioned that he had been in England once touring with a band and he had mentioned that Brian had been in a band called Geordie and Bon had said 'Brian Johnson, he was a great rock and roll singer in the style of Little Richard. A lot of rock singers have said that they tend to go too far early in their careers, and then they have to try and match that style live years later long after they've worn down their voices. And sometimes they don't even try, like James Hetfield these days doing a lot less harsh growling than he did in the 80's.
It's actually funny, after Bon died Malcolm saw Brian's band perform. He was blown away by Brian's manic stage show and went back to Angus & the boys & told them he found the guy to replace Bon. Turns out Brian's appendix burst right b4 the show. He was going nuts on stage because he was in agonizing pain. Only Brian Johnson could pull that shit off.

Being as I grew up during that Era, if I'm remembering correctly it was almost a year of courting b4 Brian decided to join the band. I found this song last night laying in bed dyeing of food poison. It’s absolutely fabulous hearing his voice singing in this way. He was Handsome! I’ve listened to this song many times today.
Wow you’re so right, this could almost be a Rainbow track. But Rainbow had a very different sound in the early days with Dio, and they didn’t really get into the pop groove until the early 80s, when Brian was already with AC/DC. But AC/DC has been better for his career longevity than working with Blackmore would have been.

After his brother saw the condition it was in after the gig, he said “KEEP it!” and it became something the club-owners could remember his band by, so he stuck with it.
Our lasses uncle was the pop boy at the Thomas Wilson Social club in Low Fell, Gateshead and he always tells me that Geordie performed there in the 70s
Great singers like Brian adapt to the situation. I knew from the first time I heard him in AC/DC he could sing. AC/DC were looking for a Style and he nailed it.
Angus Young said when they were auditioning, Brian arrived on stage with odd shoes on, Angus thought strongly that he was going to fit right in! I run a large car group on Facebook, Brian is a Member, loves his cars.

"That's it!!! Just do that on every song!"
the secret of many great performers is their versatility. most of them can do a wide range of things that fans never see because they're always doing what they're known for. as different as this is from AC/DC, imagine what Geordie fans thought when they heard Back In Black! btw, this rocks!

This is wonderful! A rare treat to see a legend before he became a legend, I really enjoyed this! It was interesting to hear Brian singing in a more regular voice. It just goes to show you that he had a wider range of vocal capabilities than we were aware of. I think he looks good without the cap here and his longer hair too! :-)
Thank you, Brian. You and the boys changed my world 35 years ago when I belatedly heard "Hells Bells" for the first time. Seeing this, it's no wonder why Bon was impressed.

This is wonderful! A rare treat to see a legend before he became a legend, I really enjoyed this! It was interesting to hear Brian singing in a more regular voice. It just goes to show you that he had a wider range of vocal capabilities than we were aware of. I think he looks good without the cap here and his longer hair too! :-)

Great singer! Never realized his vocal range and capability. AC/DC has it's own vocal sound that compliments its music. This shows his melodic range. Glad to hear this
