Sweet bike , I like ur exhaust system . When I built the exhaust system for the bt I used a eBay “ u build it header pipe kit “ & I made it a point to make it as long as I possibly could. I tried to imitate the shape of a Honda 200x header pipe By making it do a 180 from out of the head First it goes up then straight down past the cvt then a 90 at the bottom of the frame straight back to a 45 tipped up & in with a screw in Lhead muffler on the end .. I also made a Slip on spark arrestor / quiet night time cap To fit over the end of the muffler.. I like doing pie cuts right by the flange because you can fill the outside & port the end out real big to match the engine.
I got this one from omb but it is basically a hunk of steel with holes drilled in it and a tube welded to support the jackshaft bearings. I cut mine for extra tire clearance and welded some little supports in to beef up where I cut off.
The best part is that it sits flat instead of that downward angle so you can do away with the risers. I only have a billet adjustable plate because I built this to use with just about anything with small block layout, clutch or torque converter. These can be drilled into and have tensioner or idle wheels installed for the primary chain too.
@@fatbuddycat that was literally what I was gonna say! I was thinking for like a big out type thing. Same deal. But 50 mph at how many gph? And the leisure and camping sorr

Some people hate on the 212r or compare it to the "E" Ducar version but in my opinion and some racers/builders I know, it's one of the best platforms to start with. Idea here is that the 5700 rpm out of the box can use all that stock torque converter.
@@fatbuddycat I got 55 out of stock ducar with a stage 1 bolt on funding a 212r right now is impossible less you buy it second hand I tell people the ducar runs like an briggs animal they are tough and 400 cheaper then my formula animal animal turns 7800 rpm tho and is bullet proof but cost for general riding ducar or 212r is the way to go
@@heathenprojects2639 I absolutely agree! I hear great things about the 212e too but that flywheel.....I wouldn't be surprised if they just stop messing around and have just one solid Tillotson 212. I don't see how the E can be claimed at 9 or 10hp but not be as stacked as the 212r which is probably 7hp for all I know.....
@@fatbuddycat so from what I can tell from testing the ducar and 212r are the same when I moved the governor arm to highest setting and it spin to 5300 but removing throttle set screw it spins to 5700 the ducar is a updated version with more adjustablety for different race applications the Tillotson 212e has a stronger block and you can build it without special modifications
man i love that mini bike, my throttle linkage is set up the exact same way. couple of questions. do you have thumb throttles on most your bikes? and did you put that gas cap on that fuel tank? cause i was lookin at omb side fill gas tanks and it shows the silver cap. my tank is the same except with the silver cap and still leaks a little. i had got one from auto zone and it fits like a glove and doesnt let a drop leak out but i dont think it has a vent in it. if you did put your own cap on ur tank could you send me the link to it? thanks man!
I used a cap off an older Honda gx with the black tank. It's old but fits great. That tank didn't have a vent so I just assumed the cap was vented. There is a way to add a fitting with a little filter to the cap somehow but I'd have to search for it again.
I just bought the same front forks for my doodlebug and a new set of handle bars. Only think gps was sold out of were the riser kit for the handle bars. The front forks or handlebars don’t come with the risers do they?

I have 6 mini bikes and don't always need a stage 2 Predator. I can't quiet it down successfully without screwing up its performance. This motor can run the stock muffler and still boots around just the same at a lower decibel level. I appreciate a strong, aggressive and loud mini bike but I need one toned down a bit.
Always nice to have something dependable in the stables.
