I'm 65 and I will tell you these are the nicest best minibikes I have ever seen bar - none. I am so impressed by these young men's work . I want one for my 🐥
I know I was 8 years old when I purchased my first mini bike I just turned 61 I did grow up ended up going with a Yamaha 80 then I moved to a Honda 400 then finally on the 750 including cars for the family. I don't think I would get any enjoyment riding a mini bike at this point in my life no matter how fast it is I certainly would be dressed properly I didn't see anybody wearing a helmet or any type of productive gear they'll find out the hard way one day
My first mini was a Bird Engineering sold thru Sears -It had the high handlebars and the dual shock seat. The top speed 22-25 mph with a governed 3.5 Tecumseh. Thought I was hot stuff then....today it'd be a joke.
Been riding for over 30 years. Ive raced, stunted, and even done some iron butt runs and rallies. I will always remember my first motorcycle ride. Christmas morning on the ranch. My cousin got a mini bike, I was told not to ride it. Within 10 minutes on our own, I was on that hog. He gave me the scoop on what to do, I remember my heart pounding and my hands being so sweaty from the exhilaration of what I was about to do. Took off down the dirt lane, whiskey throttled for about 250ft and slammed straight into the chicken coupe. Adrenaline had me pain-free. I was bruised and banged up, took a nail all the way through my hand. Even after getting my much deserved ass whooping from grandma, all I could think about was riding again...lol. Ive been in much worse crashes over the years, and owned lots of bikes, but this is where it all started. Thanks for sharing.
Waaaay back in 1975 when I was a sophomore in High school I built up a kick ass Mini bike with a 10.5:1 compression combination Briggs & Stratton engine running a 24mm Mikuni carb , custom welded & ground cam, long reverse cone megaphone open exhaust , hardly any flywheel ( machined down to bare minimum) balanced complete internal rotating assembly & running on Methanol as well with custom made high rpm lock up clutch ( back when we had REAL SHOP classes & some pretty cool teachers ) and when finished that year it went 57 mph NOW!! It was fastest in my neighborhood here in So Cal and it got me an “ A” in both my metal and auto shop classes !! We had to ditch the recoil starter as it would occasionally kick back while trying to pull start it ( and break)and we just replaced it with an open “ Wind -around “ rope starter with a piece of wooden dowel to hang onto in your hand when pulling the engine over … sold it when I graduated and bought a Brand new Yamaha RD-400 2 -stroke twin that I turned into a 130 mph crotch rocket & at 62-1/2 years of age now am proud to STILL OWN!! Always wonder though about the fate of my old mini-bike. 🤔. Thanks for posting this one & appreciate the passion these guys have still for these shown here . C-ya👍👍
I am so happy to see mini bikes are still around. Growing up my friends an myself had a blast with our bikes in the late 60s. Anything from standard to chopper to honda 50. We lived in the country so plenty of street riding
This brings back memories that are overwhelming. I spent 2 or 3 years trying to build exactly what they are doing here without succeeding at minibikes so much which lead to 50 years in business for myself . Which turned out great , I owe it all to minibikes and fat back tires (slicks )
Early 1960s Pico Rivera California, Taco mini bikes. I was 5 or 6 years old. I'm 65 now and still a biker. In 1970 my sister bought a street legal mini bike, it had lights and turn signals and an 11 horse power lawn mower engine. I own that for about a year. Great memories thanks for reading.
I lived in Pico Rivera too.. had a 3HP mini bike on a not a thru street so we could ride all day without any traffic only went like 30 mph or so.. but nice to have that visiting my friend who lived down that street and at midnight when i went home i just floored it home NP...
@@greatfullded do you remember streamland Park?. I lived about six blocks from it. Do you remember the reservoir with the hill we used to go down on our bicycles in a death defying Act? My best to you and your loved ones.

Oh it’s pretty cool that you got to meet Jz , He’s a pretty cool kid. Just installed my 265 fire cam today I should’ve went with the hot 265 is $50 less but I wanted the more duration. Around 2 o’clock it should be 52° over here on Long Island I’ll take it out for a slow ride and break it in. Hey thanks again for always replying back
I think this is awesome for kid's. You know how many kids we could keep out of the legal system if we had programs that kept kid's busy while also improving their critical thinking skills? Maybe volunteering Dad's? I know I would volunteer in a heartbeat. I always watch these Minibike videos and notice they look like they're having a blast. I also think we'd have less school shootings, it seems it would build self esteem and take their minds off of being bullied/teased at school, like they have purpose again, and interaction with people who actually care! A little can go a long ways.
Royaljz and gts don't play games they race for Benny's and Ws nice collab now get the two mad scientists together black and gts to build a killer thumper!
2:16 that’s my bike right there ! I came back to watch this video and wow that’s so awsome ! Currently getting a new frame a gts and so far on the duromax I have the governor removed,pz27 carb, 18lb springs and a tilitson 212 e flywheel and a stage 4 trumpet pipe. Learned what parts fit in the duromax from you black66 thanks !🔥
I definitely think you should put a bigger motor and more wattage just to get those California guys I want you to be above them great show though those guys have a lot of artillery!
When we were kids we found a mini bike in my buddy's garage that used to be his dad's and it was super super fast, his dad worked for Hurst and it was worked on big time, they (pit crews) used to race them on the track before the nhra races.
I love riding sport bikes and i have a stretched monster moto with a stage 3 pred224 but its nothing like this guys bike, i weigh around 140lbs and i bet that bike would go over 100 with a guy of my weight. Thats a badass bike you got, good job.
We run engines built to this Caliber on karts . open small block class .... $3500 could last one you 1 lap or 20 laps but God it's fun while it last 😂 . Good job guys
I personally like larger wheeled vehicles , like an ebike . Their are crazy powerful eletric wheel motors that with the rite battery and controler might give you more toqure than the gas setup you could run a motor in each wheel also, but for safety reasons I prefer ebikes or motor cycles .
Nice bike. I take my hat off to you. Much respect. After seeing this video I went and bought one. Hopefully I can come down and get what you guys and learn more and get out and have some fun 👍🏿
Mike got a sohamo a2 electric mbik5e 4 my grand daughter for 499 it's pretty cool with f and r suspension 48 volt foldable headlight and horn 25 mph what I wanted is can I put a 72 volt battery on her tks u have the best mb channel

I have a 212 predator I built for racing. Go kart/mini bike engine. Cammed, piped, jetted, turbo, nitrous, the works. Just need a frame to drop it into 😃.
