Jamila, -and just smiles….☺️😇 You might’ve heard on the Wong Notes podcast interview with Cory Wong, that he spends a lot of time practicing to play as relaxed and chilled as possible, to become more efficient in his playing… Henrik’s the Chill Master lol!
Your sound engineer is something out of this world.....Not only Dirty loops it's one of the most technical competent band in the world, they have a fucking genius at the mixing consolle....I'm listening to this on a 20$ usb speaker, and it sounds fucking amazing....time to try that on a decent audio rig deserving this name....
It's challenging for many people not knowing in what box to put them I believe. Like jazz loves can't like pop, po needs aren't into soul etc. Or so they believe.
@focka73 lol Mark king wasn't the only one making slap popular worldwide...there were bassist before his era like Larry Graham, Louis Johnson and Stanley Clarke and during his era like Marcus Miller
I love your guy's music, but I just want to say that ALSO Simon Petren is a genius. What a beautiful work of art he makes with every single one of your videos. Dirty loops raises the bar in music for everyone in the industry.
A montage where he's helping a group of troubled young orphans find their way in the world. Scene includes a wacky car-wash, group dancing, and general horseplay.
Dirty Loops, there's no others like them, almost like a new genre of music was created, they absolutely deserve more spotlight in the industry, one of a kind. I'm really thankful for you're existence, you guys are shining this world with actual real and good music.
Listen to Valeriy Stepanov Fusion band, Valeriy Stepanov with Aldona, Knower (feat Genevieve and Louis Cole) before and after the Snarky Puppe link, and you will know from where Dirty Loops got their inspiration...:)
@Andrew Stevenson Well... I must admit sometimes I kinda like Panzerballett or Shining - cool stuff, amazing musicians... can be exhausting, though, like Ayler or Schönberg.
Watching you guys enjoying the crap out of your playing is...just amazing! It adds so much to the already awesome track! Please, never stop doing these!
Wow, big shout out to Edward Scissorhands for breaking free from his castle, removing the scissors from his hands and learning to play bass, it's sounding really good, Edward, keep it up
I don't know if the loop is dirty, in any case everything else is clean and perfectly under control. It's really good to listen that around my youtubian way ...I forgot, I'm french lover of smooth (jazz) and of this song without lyrics :) Shared in playlist.
Guys, your songs for lovers are the best I have heard for a long time. You are brilliant musicians, you compose great stuff, the relationship between you are a joy to watch, and it is fun. Can it be better? Unfortunately, yes. One thing is missing. I am an old geezer who still buy vinyls and CDs so please release these songs (at least as download) so I can play it through my svindyra 😂 music system and let my neighbours know what music should sound like.
Thank you thank you thank you. I have rarely seen a group having so much fun. You have made my day again. Keep on doing what you’re doing. Making people HAPPY. (even the music during the credits; which are again hilarious; is great)
Ah let me guess, Jonah went to get pizza during this one.... Next album should be called “Waiting for Jonah” haha. All jokes aside. This is an excellent way to finish this week for me. You guys made my day (Oh my God! I’ve even started to forget his name!) Jonah come back!
some serious musicianship going on here..came up in my sidebar..never heard of them...glad i clicked...realy like what they did..and man these 2 guys are really tight..that drummer was absolutely poppin...for the sake of a better term...call me out of the "loop" because i am a metal guy..but i am an open minded one and this track was funky and awesome..period.
@@javiermarco5056 you and 8 people that know *nothing* about Level 42. If anything it has more of a Mezzoforte vibe or a Casiopea vibe, but i doubt you even know who that is
@@Generalbas1972 I know this bands, I am 57 years old, Casiopea is a fusion group and also the more poppish Mezzoforte, and I know a lot of music not nothing how you suppose Incognito; Jamiroquai, Jeff Lorber, Dave Koz,Yellowjackets etc. You're arrogant. I live as musician performer and teacher from 1982 to now
The way Henrik just sits back and chills like nothing major happened sends me every time.
Jamila, -and just smiles….☺️😇
You might’ve heard on the Wong Notes podcast interview with Cory Wong, that he spends a lot of time practicing to play as relaxed and chilled as possible, to become more efficient in his playing…
Henrik’s the Chill Master lol!
I am consistently blown away by their drummer.
Where is the firearms license for that snare drum Aron??
Anybody knows what it is? I’m guessing a DW Super Solid.
@@ErwinvanGool i think it’s actually a collectors satin natural maple snare
Seriously, find yourself someone in life be it friends/significant other the way Henrik and Aron smile/laugh at each other. Wholesome af
It ain’t called songs for lovers for nothing

I have a friend who competes in car sound, should ask to listen to this song in the car he competes with
Simon Petrén mixes, masters and films most of Dirty Loops’ tracks. A musical genius.
Groove so infectious, I had to put on my Covid mask.
😁🙌
🔥🔥
🤣great comment 😂
They sure are amazing, but can we take a small break to appreciate the sound engineers? Everything sounds so tight!
Sooo tight man... they are making this band shine
And he’s snare is 🔥🔥
Tightness is all
Lord yes. The snare drum sound alone mind blowing!
absolutely agree with you👍
One of the biggest mysteries out there - why Dirty Loops only have 309k subscribers?!! WTF
It's challenging for many people not knowing in what box to put them I believe. Like jazz loves can't like pop, po needs aren't into soul etc. Or so they believe.
I'm old and this sounds like Level 42 early days, love it!
Mark King would like this.
Mark king..level 42 bassist..look kut for Linder!!😎😎
Exactly what I thought!
Mark was the one making slapping popular worldwide!!! So Linder learned basically from him ☝🏻
@focka73 lol Mark king wasn't the only one making slap popular worldwide...there were bassist before his era like Larry Graham, Louis Johnson and Stanley Clarke and during his era like Marcus Miller
Also, this is probably the best drum and bass duo on the planet right now!
I agree honestly
Linder always looks like he loves what he is doing to the core. I admire this guy
Henrik Linder is AMAZING. Love hearing this man play.
watching him is as enjoyable. the interplay between him and the drummer is fun to watch
Drums : Aron
Bass : Henrik
Camera : Jonah
lol
😹
The pleasure to jam, the smiling faces, reminds me TOTO! Very Nice
Very strong Level 42 vibes here😀Love it!
I can't be the only one thinking Phil Collins would be the perfect vocalist for this track?? Mad genesis vibes
MAD later period Genesis vibes. Dead on
Now that you’re mentioning it .. 👍🏻

An 80's movie featuring Eddie Murphy would benefit from this song
A montage where he's helping a group of troubled young orphans find their way in the world. Scene includes a wacky car-wash, group dancing, and general horseplay.
Perfect scene hahaha
Probably epilogue and closing credits, with Eddie smiling as he looks at the skyline...
Chased by bad guys 😂😂😂

I think this is jazz fusion, its been around for a while. None the less they freakin kill it!!!
This is jazz fusion and it's been here for a long long time. The band incognito has been doing this for years.
Listen to Valeriy Stepanov Fusion band, Valeriy Stepanov with Aldona, Knower (feat Genevieve and Louis Cole) before and after the Snarky Puppe link, and you will know from where Dirty Loops got their inspiration...:)
@@kari25nov thanks for sharing these recommendations, I'll listen to every single one of them. Cheers!
I tend to agree.
Yeah, baby!
I am jamming to this with my guitar, so fun!
I reckon Level 42 would approve of this jam😎
That is some sweet pseudo-General Midi Death-Prog-Jazz in the credits... kudos.
@Andrew Stevenson Well... I must admit sometimes I kinda like Panzerballett or Shining - cool stuff, amazing musicians... can be exhausting, though, like Ayler or Schönberg.
@Andrew Stevenson Well... it *was* meant tounge-in-cheek because of how ridiculous "death prog jazz" sounds, even though it's a thing :)
yep sound engineering is at it's finest. perfectly making this trully classic tune! totally fall in memory. love it.
Henrik! So Funky!
SIMON PETRÉN, you're a legend!
the mix is so good! that it values each instrument!
Yes, kudos to this guy 🙏
The flavor, the talent, the sound, the style... OMG!!!!!
RESPECT to the two you..Top Shelf Musicians!!!😉
Pure definition of chemistry between 2 people 🔥🙌
Dude that snare is so *CRISP*
Absolutely Fricking Brilliant
I honestly think that may be the best sounding snare sound ive ever heard.
I was thinking the same thing
I think it's gated a little
Tighhht
Recorded, mixed and mastered well... and probably gated as Andrew pointed out

SIMON PETRÉN your mix is just absolutely.. mind blowing! DIRTY LOOPS you are a heck of a talent! see you soon guys!
Your marvellous music is full of energy and contributes to my good mood! Bravo, Dirty Loops!!!! Greetings from Germany.
This sounds exactly like something that would have appeared on a Dave Weckl album back in the day with John Patitucci on bass. Brilliant!
I have been a musician most of my life but these guys are absolutely superhuman!
Can we PLEASE get this song on Tidal/Spotify???
Please make more songs of this series! I Love it so much. Literary the best music of (at least) this year!!
This is silly. They're having a silly-goose time. And I... ...am here for ALL OF IT 😜
you guys are always top notch.
Ps.. Henrik, I'm loving your hairrrr
Sooooo when is the "Songs for Lovers" EP coming out?? asking for some friends.
I'm some friends
+1
Please please please please please NEVER cease from making your Loops Dirty!!!!!
Henrik's bassriff reminds me of Flea's riff in the verse of RHCP's Aeroplane. I admire both bassplayers. So good ♥️
Ridiculously tight and crisp!
That snare sounds like a gun-shot! So great.
I've been waiting for the day slap bass comes back in style.... THANK YOU!!!
These guys just work so well together and the groove between the bass and drums is astounding to say the least.
Wow, big shout out to Edward Scissorhands for breaking free from his castle, removing the scissors from his hands and learning to play bass, it's sounding really good, Edward, keep it up
Saw them yesterday for the first time in my life live in Leverkusen: I am still kind of speechless 😮 it was insane!
Басист и барабанщик- золотые руки, ритм секция-часики, ни одной помарки, слушаю вас уже много раз, и не перестаю восхищаться, вы молодцы!
Help I can't stop watching it
Ааааааааа....это что вообще было, как такое возможно!!!!!?! мощь....просто огонь....

Those fast hihat hits are ridiculous
Just loved it... Henrik and Arön superb playing👌👌
Bringing back some Dennis Chambers vibes!°°
Guess I found a new favourite band.
The singer was late for rehearsal again!
They did not tell him that will have a rehearsal, lol

Awesome bassist. I love how his image contrasts the style of music he plays. Very interesting. Great drummer as well. Great musicians! 🙌
Interesting point. He's so cute
Musicality 1000%! WOW! Such a groovy thing!
Okay...They're Amazing!!!
you are absolutely AWESOME guys! Regards from Poland
Love that you guys actually like each other and are having fun and of course extremely talented.
Jonah Nilsson is probably taking a second coffee break with Quincy Jones, both enjoying listening to Pink Power...
Love em all.

Great power. They are fabulous!!
Am I the only one that looks, at least once, every day, to see if UA-cam has sent me a notification that a new Dirty Loops has been uploaded?
You certainly aren’t! 🤘🏼
