I’m fairly confident that Henrik is ACTUALLY a vampire. The dude hasn’t aged at all since I started following the band almost a decade ago. It also explains how he became such an amazing bassist-no one gets to that level of bad-ass in a single lifetime. Also, I heard a rumor that Henrik’s bass lines are actually what killed Mozart. Just blew the guy’s mind....Look it up.
@@mikesmith30000 I was a double bass player. My orchestra teacher used to tell us "an octave lower, an octave slower" because the double bass section was always late to rehearsals (and performances, occasionally)

I stopped playing a half year ago. My wedding band keeps slipping off my finger for the first time, regular bass playing does toughen up your hands big time, bigger muscles in the fingers even.
Only dirty loops have the capability to make me enjoy country. I discovered this band in 2020 - honestly their music is getting me through this insane year.
The end credits have some pretty funny entries: Banjo - *Hall 9000* Steel Guitar - *T-800* Percussion - *Optimus Prime* Whistleblower - *Edward Snowden* And there's more of them! 😂😂
They look so happy that just makes you wanna jam with your friends and play music. But then their stuff is SO difficult that just makes you wanna quit.
Everything and I mean everything these guys put out is world class. Apart from the arrangements and the actual music, the playing is on a whole other level. From an engineers point of view, even here on UA-cam the audio is perfectly mixed and punchy as hell. That burbling bass is literally music to my ears and sounds unbelievable when put through my DBX 120A subharmonic synthesizer. Video production is simple yet perfectly edited and extremely well paced. And don't get me started on the hilarious end titles that has become a Dirty Loops trademark. It's for a good reason that they are signed with Quincy Jones Productions. Pure class.
And with that, expectations on country gigs become unrealistic for bassists everywhere.
So real
We need a battle with Les Claypool
This literally happened.
Lollllll.. so true
..and the drummer too. His solo bit is fire!!

Henrik: All good. I got my bass. I'll take it from here...

The obvious delight on their faces is what makes this for me. Love to see musicians having FUN.
After loopifying pop, rock, and jazz, Dirty Loops now take care of country music !
I really like that production, so virtuoso and inspiring
If I was in hotel room under theirs, I would have called front desk and complained that the music wasn’t loud enough
