Where has this band been all my life?! Not only is this tune one of the most danceable pieces in the history of music, but it has nice, subtle touches that musicians can sink their teeth into, like some unexpected and tantalizing deviations in chord progression and a few short but powerful rhythmic flourishes that make the overall beat just a little bit hard to follow in places without creating distracting confusion. You guys are a huge breath of fresh air!
I'm a progressive heavy metal musician and to be honest with you all. I never really got into pop music until I heard these guys these guys. I would consider them to be progressive pop I was really blown away with the first time I heard them and I really like these guys a lot.
My one year old son (as of today) absolutely loves this song. He will drop whatever he has in his hands to dance his little baby butt off. It's adorable, and I thank the gentlemen endlessly for that. Prost to all have been here, are here, and will be here.

It’s not music I would normally sing to in my car you know? It’s like so good you just have to listen to it and enjoy it for what it is. The bass, the drums, the keys, these guys have so much chemistry together it’s magic. The song for me isn’t even about the lyrics. It’s purely sound. And damn, if it isn’t a good sound. The video is great too. They’re having so much fun. Their music has brought them together, and they understand each other better for it. They work so well and compliment each other in a way I haven’t heard before. Dirty Loops is here and they’re here to stay. A salute to them, and the art they’ve blessed us with.

This song spoke to me in such a way right now. This was my dads favorite band before he died in September 2018. This song was released 3 days ago when I got engaged. This song being released felt like an amazing reminder that getting ready for marriage without him is still gonna be amazing. I felt like this was a sign from God reminding me that my dad would be so happy for me and everything is gonna be okay. I come from a musical family and my dad was a musician my whole life so to see this was a major comfort. You have no idea. The gift of music goes beyond soul spirit and heart. You feel it in your bones. Thank you dirty loops for being a part of my dads life and mine. You guys are so dope and inspiring.
These guys are all so good, it just looks easy for them. I'm guessing some people will miss how technically advanced this song is and just put it in their "normal" pop tunes list. It deserves way more than that! As a bass player, I naturally follow Hendrik, but there's exceptional skills at work here, including mixing and engineering.
I can’t imagine anyone will miss how technically challenging this song is. It’s clearly full of crazy musicality, even to non musicians. But it sure is sick and is a brilliant example of how when you’re tight and not sloppy, you can get musically complicated but still have a super deep pocket and a nice groove that’s catchy and enjoyable to listen to. Technical and challenging doesn’t have to be crazy extended microtonal jazz chords in 17/8. It can be in 4/4 and be dancey as hell too.
Thank you Quincy for setting these guys up and letting them be the musicians that they really are. I met them in Dallas and they were really wonderful to my girls, really. Jada was 8 at the time and they treated her like family. i have the picture with them and she wanted to have nothing to do with them, but they loved on her anyway. She loved the concert and they were better live than the videos.

Just when we feel like everything was sanged , played , recorded, poped up something out of the blue....Saw the intervew with Rick Beato, he was so true putting into the light that social medias have that positive super positive side, to help folks discover sounds and musicians, may be they never could ..Music is such an ocean, here we got a diamond fish who is truly meaned to evolve into a mix of many influences,but with it unique signature... something stunning , we' ll see and hear it,love all what they do , those conversations are comin straight from the soul and touches the heart of people and cosmos . This is some of the best engineering on a song I've heard ! The separation of each piece is so amazingly clear, yet the blend is just incredible. Great video on this tune, thx for sharing !
If this had been recorded in the late 80's or 90's I'd agree with you but this type of mix is relatively easy with the availability of audio mixing software/hardware. You can automate the entire mixing process which 30ty yrs ago was done primarily by hand.

There are only a few bands where I count every minute for each release. Dirty Loops is one of them. Excellent musicians with brilliant grooves and vocals.
