Agreed, though at this configuration (20S15P), you'd really have to go for the el cheapo parts to hit $2500 though. I can’t wait until everyone kicks the gas habit in the rear. Thanks for sharing your channel and giving people an alternative to fossil fuels.
It's a lot to pay for a bike that has a broken power button right out of the box. That's the sort of thing that speaks to build quality and possible future problems.
You shouldn't say that they don't need licensed. Here in Washington e-bikes are rated by how fast they go and how many watts they are, Class 1, 2, and 3. If it doesn't fit into these classes then it is considered a moped and must be licensed accordingly.

How could it be legal in California with a 3000W motor? The limit is 750W for all E-bikes. I guess that makes this a motorcycle so you would need license and insurance.
Not to be funny or anything but did you unlock the bike before you press the stop start button and forgive me if I'm doing too much just was thinking about it.

The State of Ohio requires registration on anything with a motor that is on the road, mopeds included. But they consider e-bikes that go no faster than 20MPH to be a bicycle and they don't require them to be registered. My bike tops out around 23 or 24mph so I don't have it registered. Ohio even registers golf carts, it's crazy. They just want to get as many 50 dollar registrations a year that they can get. My home state of CT didn't register anything that you didn't need a license to ride, like Mopeds that didn't go over 30mph. Now CT is trying to force registrations on Dirt bikes / mini bikes / quads. So that really cool bike in Ohio would require registration.
Except for one thing, the motor wattage far exceeds the limit's for an e bike in a lot of states to ride on public roads. Regardless of speed and pedals, the size of the motor made it a motorcycle. It will require running lights, a tag holder, turning signals, etc. and registration, license tag, and insurance. In addition the rider will have to pass a motorcycle written test, obtain a learning permit or pass driving test to get the motorcycle endorsement their drivers license. If you get caught without change to the bike, registration and insurance on the public streets in Ohio, you risk it being seized under section 59 of the Police Reform Act. No learning permit or endorsement, and expensive ticket. Some police jurisdiction are enforcing the law on e bikes that exceed the motor limits or speed and finding profit from the tickets and seizures.
My friend great video thank you. I just want to say that I built same bike for £1200 in UK don't know why would you spend that much money on a bike without the joy of building it yourself. Thanks again 👍
It looks like the seat is too low. Does not look like the peddles are comfortable to use. People say the acceleration is slow compared to other bikes. Not as nimble as other bikes and heavy as you stated. Great video but I think there are better options available.
From what I’ve read it’s between 3,000 w to possibly 6,000 w peak. Under powered for a 150 lb bike. Granted it would get my 145 lbs aren’t quickly enough. But a larger person probably not.
This Bike is pretty nice. I have been Commuting on a Sur-Ron for over six months now. I wish it was a little bit bigger Bike is my only minor complaint also @6'3 and handsome 😄
This is cool. I was on the website and it states that it comes at 80 km (50 mph) default. I'm sure you can unlock it's potential to go faster. You should check into that. I would love to see how fast it can reach? Really cool video.
This is actually a common motor. It's 4/5 years old technology already. You can order from the manufacturer different types of copper windings, so you get more torque but less max speed, or more speed and less torque. The most you can do with this motor in the right conditions, the right controller and the right battery that fits it, is about 110kmh. So yeah, pretty insane for "just an e-bike"
Wow what a beast, I guna buy a wrecked e bike to restore next week may do a video as will need help from anyone who knows more than me, wish it wa alike this one tho
I watched one of your previous videos about your jeep dying. Sounds to me like you have something in your fuel tank that occasionally blocks the fuel line. You’ll be driving for a bit and the object settles back in and dies. It is definitely a fuel tank, maybe a a pinhole in the line not properly keeping it prime. I knew about the tank block issue because my buddy’s ex girlfriend put condoms in his gas tank after a breakup and it did the same thing. Fuel filter seal can do that too
I got the prime 2.0 one like this but mine only goes 30 miles per hour I did not really use it much because I am only 5.7 or so tall my legs is not as long when I am on the seat my feet on tip toes I got big shoes with those my feet touches the ground I have to get use to it I do not have good balance I hope I can get use to it when it gets warmer
Sur Ron X $4000 battery and controller upgrade $1300 10,000 watts mid-drive with Peddle kit add $80.00. No Thanks, that bike is so common everyone uses those frames for builds and they are horrible offroad with a hub motor. Get a Sur Ron with the upgrades for less and it will perform 10x better. Speaking from experience of using both frames. Sur Ron hands-down best bang for your buck. Great review though.
72 volt battery - should be faster than it is. main power 3000W (peak power might reach to 6000W). Torque: 182N.m Are you sure there wasn't a setting you can change to give it more torque?

I want to disengage the pedals and move them to the same height . It is very uncomfortable for me to have the seat high enough to have the pedals fit my legs . Then I can’t touch the ground. I’m 5’6 and hate the pedals. Delfast said it’s easy to do. Just need to find someone locally .
Lol it literally a Chinese Enduro frame they have mass produced through alibaba with their brand on it. I built one . And the reason nobody else is in the records because we know most our builds are used on roads and illegal. You can get it all for 4k aliexpress piece by piece not worth the money they want easy to assemble I have the 273 qs motor that's only the 205
I truly hate when people are enjoying their lives on an E-bike. But i hope and pray you guy's stay safe. Run a muck on my expense... I just can't afford it right now.
That's a joke that just because it has pedals there's no need for license and insurance. It's a motorcycle in most states. Ride it without insurance at your peril.
I have the same sort of thing and got at best 45 miles out of it in the autumn time when it was around 15c, so probably a maximum range of 50 to 60 miles with my current config, if I changed to smoother narrower tyres with more rounded shape I could make get 25% more range ? so perhaps 75 miles, and thats with a battery that claims to be 40 amp hours. In reality you won't get the last 5 amp hours or so because the voltage sag is so huge that at around 66v the bike starts shutting off in assist level 1 and I have to take the side panel off to access the circuit breaker. I have no clue how this Delfast company could have gotten 200 miles.
@@TheInja I look forward to seeing your long range test if you are still going to do it ! your Delfast bike is way better than my DIY one, I have no fenders, mirrors, kickstand, turn signals, light controls. No a 72v 60a controller will not reach 6000w. 84v (72v) fully charged battery X 60 amps = 5040w. Let's say 81v battery X X 60 amps = 4860w peak but only for a couple of seconds. Mine with the saspecs never goes over 4500w peak.
A stealth b52 copy -- looks a little loose round the battery area and lots of tech to break when you stack it. And if you dont come off - youre not trying hard enough.
For 6k that’s disappointing lol in terms of speed, but the milage may redeem it. But considering all these range tests are usually with the lowest mode(15 to 20mph) I’d bet the real world range would be around 70.
It’s not about speed it’s more on range here. Electric motorcycles have issues with range..This is quiet and efficient. Dirt bikes can’t go fast anyway and they’re noisy af. This seems like a dirt bike alternative
Controversial opinion but I don’t like it. For a cheaper price you can get a Ninja 400 that’s an actual sport motorcycle that tops out around 120mph not 50. 6600 is kinda ridiculous for a bike like that tbh

BaconButties abandoned his ebike build before he finished it. He screwed up his suspension and he sold it because he didn't feel safe on it. So it wasn't better than the Delfast. No comparison.
Thanks to your channel I decided to pick up an electric bike that runs even on snow. No more gas prices for me. The bike was 2500 US, and I think it will pay its self off quickly by saving in gas. I can’t wait until everyone kicks the gas habit in the rear. Thanks for sharing your channel and giving people an alternative to fossil fuels.
just curious what bike you went with, i'm in Michigan where there's lots of snow
It's a lot to pay for a bike that has a broken power button right out of the box. That's the sort of thing that speaks to build quality and possible future problems.
now, that can handle a pothole !
Great new year to you and the crew and the family, man !
Thanks, Pat!
This bike has 19 inch motorcycle tires. They make the ride very nice.
In TX, if you motorize your bicycle it must be registered/inspected but it costs like $5.
You shouldn't say that they don't need licensed. Here in Washington e-bikes are rated by how fast they go and how many watts they are, Class 1, 2, and 3. If it doesn't fit into these classes then it is considered a moped and must be licensed accordingly.
I have a delfast prime 2.0 for 8 mounth and rode it to work all winter and now in the prosess of replasing the battery.
I guess it dosent like -30c all that much ya Canada!!
Best all around Bike under 2,000 NO licensee required , 6,600 Bit much, tnks guys , you know honesty reviews when you first get them is all fine and kool BUT down the road is another and id consider more REAL reviews, in durability, flexibility,,accessories, range on full charge ,speed, longest lasting batteries or battery, support and and obtaining parts, Love your reviews, Tnks n B Safe
Here in Pennsylvania that is not considered a bicycle and the good ol' boys in blue will most certainly cite you for having it on the street.
govt doesn't get their cut, can't have that...
At that price the start button should work. Crazy.
I totally agree.
How could it be legal in California with a 3000W motor? The limit is 750W for all E-bikes. I guess that makes this a motorcycle so you would need license and insurance.
I mean teechhhhhhnicalllyyyyyyyy 🤷🏽♀️
Please don't tell the cops
Right now it depends on the area..some police departments don’t care, others will tell you to get it registered as a moped
Not to be funny or anything but did you unlock the bike before you press the stop start button and forgive me if I'm doing too much just was thinking about it.
I picked up a laotie es18p top recorded speed via Strava 56.7 mph real world range on a full charge without eco mode 43 mi. 43ah battery, twin 2800w hub motors
You have to do some similar chances with a "extreme Bull k6"
So that really cool bike in Ohio would require registration.
can you wheelie them?
what exact tires are they? size and manufacturer? im building this style bike and i love the tread pattern
Hi from which manufacturer is the front mudguard Thank you?
I get mine sometime in February 🤞🏻
Could you do a video on how you got started on your channel? purchasing all of these E-bikes can definitely get expensive.
just go watch my channel! You'll see where it took off and what worked/what didn't.
Why I would never have a hub drive e-bike. You can’t adjust the gearing. And they get super hot.
My friend great video thank you.
I just want to say that I built same bike for £1200 in UK don't know why would you spend that much money on a bike without the joy of building it yourself.
Thanks again 👍
Same specs as this one?
Hahaha
All I can say is wow,I just subscribed to you guys man, this is bad ass,I havegot to get me one of these, thank you man,The Vermonter, peace bro...❤😎🏖
Would love to see a range test video!
@@cortexico233 Dude, thank you so much for that info. Now, I'm definitely getting this ebike. You ROCK 🎸 💪, bro. Have a great and awesome day.
Of course you always trade range for speed. If you have a meter on your display, you can see how fast high speeds drain the battery.
Wow what a beast, I guna buy a wrecked e bike to restore next week may do a video as will need help from anyone who knows more than me, wish it wa alike this one tho
What is the battery voltage and amps please? How badass is the battery please?
How does it compare to Segway and Suron?
Hey you know what the seat height of this bike was
Do they make these as non electric?
I watched one of your previous videos about your jeep dying. Sounds to me like you have something in your fuel tank that occasionally blocks the fuel line. You’ll be driving for a bit and the object settles back in and dies. It is definitely a fuel tank, maybe a a pinhole in the line not properly keeping it prime. I knew about the tank block issue because my buddy’s ex girlfriend put condoms in his gas tank after a breakup and it did the same thing. Fuel filter seal can do that too
NICE BIKE DUDE THATS DOPE AS HELL BRO.
Dag this would have been a perfect Christmas gift, lol.
Hahaha
Get one for each kid! 😆
Great bike. Great channel.
Thanks brother!
@farmer Fpv but the Sur Ron doesn’t have peddles correct ? How does it pass for an ebike?
You can get pedals for Sur Ron. I've checked into it when I was deciding on what bike to buy.
72 volt battery - should be faster than it is. main power 3000W (peak power might reach to 6000W). Torque: 182N.m Are you sure there wasn't a setting you can change to give it more torque?
im 350lbs and i ride a delfast top 3.0 easily. i am gonna start recording my trips using my insta360 x3. will start reviewing e bikes max weight loads. and i have a 7ft buddy thats 400lbs that is going to be testing e bike loads.
My mom taught me when u buy E-Tonics Fully charge it for a 💯 percent charge and the E-Trionit will last much longer
Are the pedals actually useable
I want to disengage the pedals and move them to the same height . It is very uncomfortable for me to have the seat high enough to have the pedals fit my legs . Then I can’t touch the ground. I’m 5’6 and hate the pedals. Delfast said it’s easy to do. Just need to find someone locally .
Cool looking bike, has bit of the old bmx look
6000 dollars but you cant turn it on with the button on the bike
My button works just fine. I am sure it is just Inja. He needs to eat his Wheaties. LOL
@@davidlittlefield2483 lol indeed
Its the faulty wiring. The pos I had did the same thing before I returned it back to Delfast.
Lol it literally a Chinese Enduro frame they have mass produced through alibaba with their brand on it. I built one . And the reason nobody else is in the records because we know most our builds are used on roads and illegal. You can get it all for 4k aliexpress piece by piece not worth the money they want easy to assemble I have the 273 qs motor that's only the 205
6,600 "and I know that sounds like a little bit of money". No sir, that sounds like A LOT of money for an eBike!
Agreed!
@@TheInja but sooooo cool!
What Ebike are u looking at that costs 8-9k ?
I truly hate when people are enjoying their lives on an E-bike. But i hope and pray you guy's stay safe. Run a muck on my expense... I just can't afford it right now.
6k ?and the on off switch doesn't work? I don't know inja that might be too much
hahaha I totally feel you on that.
SO SHWEEEETTT...much love Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO.[the music worldwide}
oooweee fun...almost like HPC's..
No turning signals ?
That's a joke that just because it has pedals there's no need for license and insurance. It's a motorcycle in most states. Ride it without insurance at your peril.
(*don't tell the police)
Correction nothing is better, you are the law the law can only push you if they catch or corner you not happening on that in the metro.
I’m not going to even cap this bike is so cool ! 🔥🔥🔥
They tested it at like 15mph is how haha
@@TheInja I look forward to seeing your long range test if you are still going to do it ! your Delfast bike is way better than my DIY one, I have no fenders, mirrors, kickstand, turn signals, light controls. By your speed I guessed your bike is putting out 100 amps, my battery is limited to 50 amps. Battery is really important for these bikes, but a good battery costs over £1000 in our money, as much as an entire budget 1500w e-bike.
Bettery battery
That thing looks cool I want to hook it up with a whole bunch of RGBLED lights
Great video, fantastic bike,I ride the Mustache e-bike Friday 27 2019 Bosch motor and battery, try a Mustache e-bikes if you can, thanks!
did you get the 200 mile range from one charge?
Time to challenge the Suron!
Where can I buy those mudguards?
I bought a stealth bomber ebike, the pedal assist wasn't turned on and I couldn't figure it out I did a factory reset on the TFT display and messed everything up could you help me setting up the perimeters, it's Chinese New Year's and I can't get anybody to help me
This or the CAB eagle....im torn.
Can you review a bike called Truvor and also Suru cycles.
That thin swing arm makes me a little nervous but if it's tried a true than I guess it's just my anxiety
No a 72v 60a controller will not reach 6000w.
84v (72v) fully charged battery X 60 amps = 5040w.
Let's say 81v battery X X 60 amps = 4860w peak but only for a couple of seconds.
Mine with the saspecs never goes over 4500w peak.
is it only a 60amp max controller ?
Ever notice these video misqoute prices by ALOT? Fantik aircompressor $129 not "$60"
What's the name of the bike
A stealth b52 copy -- looks a little loose round the battery area and lots of tech to break when you stack it. And if you dont come off - youre not trying hard enough.
You say hassle but it’s very easy and not hard to do at all the manufacturers pay for import fees and customs
Have you ever done it? (Legally?)
For 6k that’s disappointing lol in terms of speed, but the milage may redeem it. But considering all these range tests are usually with the lowest mode(15 to 20mph) I’d bet the real world range would be around 70.
Agreed. Will be testing in the next few days!
It’s not about speed it’s more on range here. Electric motorcycles have issues with range..This is quiet and efficient. Dirt bikes can’t go fast anyway and they’re noisy af. This seems like a dirt bike alternative
@@slimdunkin117 then we will have to see what Kind of range he would get just riding it normally
@@TheInja nice
U are wrong about that. I went 40 miles per hour and got 150 miles out of the bike. Do all research.
Controversial opinion but I don’t like it. For a cheaper price you can get a Ninja 400 that’s an actual sport motorcycle that tops out around 120mph not 50. 6600 is kinda ridiculous for a bike like that tbh
Hi. What is the wheel diameter of your bike?
This looks like the early motorcycles from the 30s and 40s.
