Let's be honest guys, in this over-pricing ebike era, $2,399 with all these settings (3000wmotor+controller, frame, battery! brakes, fork, suspension, wheels+tires), the price is pretty crazily reasonable! You are absolutely correct that anything under 3000 for a bike that can go 50 mph is a good deal. So their is no reason to have misleading pics. The bike will sell on that only. So why can't they just take some pics of their bike and put it on their website. That is not hard to do. I know I'm not the only 1 who would be upset about getting a bike that's different than advertise. The EKX 21 is literally the same bike with the same specs and $600 cheaper. Like they didn't even bother to change the frame or anything it's an exact carbon copy of this bike.
Escooters and ebikes are very different when it comes to pricing versus speed. You really can't compare the two. Majority of ebikes out there that gets close to 50mph are around $4k. Takes a lot more material to build ebikes than a scooter and the weight is 30-50% more, which affects shipping costs.

brake squeal... when you were fixing your rotor the rotor may have been contaminated and got on the pads. you're supposed to use gloves when handling rotors to avoid getting fingerprints. some people remedy this by sanding down the rotor and reinstalling with gloves and replacing the pads. you can also try isopropyl alcohol on the rotor but if you use the existing pads the squeal might not go away.
Good to know! Thank you. I actually just ordered some new 180MM rotors from alibaba. I feel like I tweaked that poor rotor so much I just want to start fresh. I also got some cool red screws to match the red accents on the bike haha. Perhaps I should spray some brake cleaner on the pads to remove any contaminants from the old rotor?

I'm pretty bummed, but they took $100 off. If this guy and another guy got theirs, I'm not too worried about it being a scam.
Day one of asking for upgrade recommendations and ways to cut the brake sensor because I just bought one
Check out my new video!: ua-cam.com/video/3LUdrPv9Z-4/v-deo.htmlsi=_Te9lkGv16ergOD1
can you use it for exercise or its too heavy?
does it go 50mph like what the specs said?
Ordered this. Im scared im gonna get in trouble for riding on the street
It depends where you live. Some areas the cops really crack down (usually beach towns I’ve noticed). Other areas like mine they really don’t care.
@@mannymonroy I live sorta downtown 😬 but not next to a nice beach
Bro title is top speed when bud is too scared to get on the road that’s so wholesome 😂
Lol in my most recent video I push it harder. I was scared with my shitty helmet that didn’t fit! Also nice last name, are we distant relatives? lol
Fenders came in my packaging when I got it September 28, 2024
Which side is the rear brake on? just bought one of these and hoping I can wheelie it. Great video!
left side
How is for riding wheelies? Throttle response quick enough? powerful enough? And does the seat sit far enough back? U know if any way to attach pegs to back axle area? Please respond
@@cirwo85 i’ve seen people wheelie it idk abt pegs
@dbf16. you have one and you commented a month ago about wheelies, but you haven't mastered the wheelie yet? You give up or what.. and where did you see someone wheelie this? Please link if video
@@cirwo85 i don’t have one mine comes in on the 15th
Does it have pedal assist
I could have gotten a talaria, Surron whatever I wanted, but I ordered this bike specifically because it has pedals so cops can’t bust my balls! They are strict around my way! So for the price not a bad value I thought!
Copy paste comment?
@@Josh-jo1zn I have no idea where that came from I didn’t copy and paste anything! Don’t know how a comment on another post got here! Sorry
@@geraldf9651where do you live? Because I live in Texas and I’m not sure about getting the talaria xxx or this but I think the talaria looks better and is more reputable
@@B7litz get a xxx.
could've gotten a surron or talaria and added a pedal kit
Yo right now the Freego F3pro Max is on sale. Great cruiser bike. I bought one last year. It’s dual motor, dual battery. Great range and good speed. Goes up any hill. Only $2300. That’s almost 700 off. Highly recommend.
You could probably put pegals on it for that peg question. Those transform from pegs to pedals. Pretty cool design.
I actually just completed a DIY peg conversion. I just used my old pedals as temporary "pegs". I am waiting for my real new pegs to come in the mail still: ua-cam.com/users/shortsQnGU40i2o_g?feature=share
Those pegals look really pretty! But At $360, they are a bit too costly for me. I just ordered a $10 harley davidson shift peg part that is compatible replacement part to the threads where the current crank attaches. I'll post a video of them soon, I think it can be a good $20 option for someone to go from pedals to pegs quite easily. My option will look more like surron style foot pegs.
Great job Manny!
Is the one you have a review unit or some kind of early demo model cuz its different from the pics on their site. You also got yours earlier than may 31 which is the release date on their website. The pics show a half twist throttle which is what I want and it also has turn signals and the + & - buttons controls on the left side. That's the bike I want and if they send me the one you have then i'm returning it.
Reply
Lol the pictures online are not entirely accurate and what you see here is Exactly what you'll get. Those controls you referring too are Only on the previous, slower model.
@@nortizz Well if that's true then that's false advertisement. The bike should be the same as shown in the pics. Do you work for the company?
Yeah agreed. You will likely end up with what I got.
@@rawdigga2k10just about everything with this bike is "false advertisement". Pictures for new products like this aren't always exactly as they seem. They're a mash up of the previous model and the one you'll get, which Manny has shown. No I don't. But I have asked countless questions to Freego and EKX and know absolutely everything about this bike now lmao.
I ordered the bike on may 2 and it was a presale and said the bike would come bye June 12 or something like that
How long did it take for you to get the bike and on freego website they say its a pre order so do i have to wait till it is not a preorder to get it Please answer
Also wondering about this pre order, would love an e bike for under 3k so this seems like me !
@roberthealey1033 it's a pre order I texted freego and they said it will be shipping the 15th
@roberthealey1033 and idk if people get or know this guy weighs 260 pounds weight plays alot especially in electric even on gasoline bikes on amazon say speed may vary depending on road conditions weight etc so that saying this guy has reached 44mph and 46 mph downhill both times he stopped ramping up so I definitely think this thing gonna get to 50 mph if not higher if u weigh under 200 pounds
Is throttle response quick enough and powerful enough to easily rode wheelie, keep in air
In Virginia as long as you have pedals on an electric bike it’s street legal not sure about cali
How fast can it go if you use the pedals also
slower if anything
Can you ride it on bike path?
Do you know the name brand of batteries been used? Is it only a 2A charger included. Website says there's a special edition for July?
No "special edition", no different than what you see here. It's just temporarily discounted.
@@nortizz what's the better choice freego x2 or the goat ebike?
I have a similar bike but less power it's that X21 Electric Bike. Have you seen that version?
Ah yes,The EKX K21 is actually the first bike of this style I saw. I almost bought one off Newegg. Later on Alibaba, I saw for sale a EKX X21 "Max" version that actually appears to be a more 1:1 version of the Freego bike in terms of specs and 3000W motor.
Was supposed to get mine on the 15th apparently there's some sort of problem and it could be weeks before I get. Thay tried to give me a different bike I said hell no. Thay wanted to give me an f3 I think totally apples and oranges kind of exchange. that are not being easy To talk to , anyone know what the hell is going on.
A lot of these bikes are on pre order cause they're getting very popular
Hey manny I would love to know how to put pegs instead of pedals on my ebike. I don’t pedal much and I heard you mention pegs instead of pedals. What do I need to do and how do I do it. Where do I buy the pegs
The X2pro has the +&- buttons.. I got one now..
Great vid. The speedometer is about 5km/h too fast. I don't know if it can be adjusted without the control buttons though. 80km/h is 50mph.
Show how fast it accelerates and the torque?
It has a lot of torque, the acceleration is good too.
Did you have to cut the government restrictions to make it to that fast
Can you access anything on the display screen to change anything
Sadly, no. In fact I can’t even change the display to MPH! That’s my one gripe with this bike.
I was thinking about ordering it until I saw the top speed my top speed on my bigniu bgx top speed is about 43 but I bought the bike for 1500 bucks, introductory
Your bike ugly
Does it have power to wheelie?
i bought one and i’m sure it does, talaria torque is 250 nm and the x2 is 200nm
Nice vid man, just wondering if you knew that you installed the handle bar mount the wrong way, it seems like your a taller guy and if you mount it correctly it might be a better fit for you.
🤯 I’m going to have to take a 2nd look when I get home, I might have done just that 🤦♂️
@@mannymonroy yeah just compare pictures of your bike to the websites pictures 👍
Dude thank you! I ended up needing to flip the bar and mounting plate around and move the throttle and stuff from one side to the other. That part was preassembled and came backward from the factory 🤦♂️
Why do they advertise it as 60mph and it’s not even close to what you got
I ordered mine on May 2 for the June drop on the 15th then I got an email saying that I would not get my bike until the July drop July 15 but on my confirmation for my delivery it says the bike is assembled packaged and labeled for the carrier to pick up and that’s on May 5 so now they say I will get it after the July drop on the 15th so I don’t know if I’m supposed to receive the bike on the 15th or they’re sending it on the 15th tired of waiting!!!
That sucks man, I hope you get your bike soon! Check my new video in the meantime: ua-cam.com/video/3LUdrPv9Z-4/v-deo.htmlsi=FZfmv0xqKT5lMVrp

Thanks for the videos my friend. One question: is the battery removable for charging?
I don’t think it is, I never found a way to.
Can I take the pedals off or do u need them?
I took mine off and put pegs. I like it better than way so my feet are even when riding.
@@mannymonroycan you make a video about taking the chain off and replacing it for pegs

I believe you must use the included you to unlock the battery under the battery door. Once unlocked you pull it up and out.
But you dont need to pull the battery to assemble it!
Te comentaron algo sobre la salpicadera delantera? Porque no la incluyeron?
Hey it says pre order only for me how do I not get the speacial edition on July 15???
There is no special. Just special pricing for pre ordering.
Idk me too
brake squeal... when you were fixing your rotor the rotor may have been contaminated and got on the pads. you're supposed to use gloves when handling rotors to avoid getting fingerprints. some people remedy this by sanding down the rotor and reinstalling with gloves and replacing the pads. you can also try isopropyl alcohol on the rotor but if you use the existing pads the squeal might not go away.
@@mannymonroyhey man the rotors should be 203mm!
Mine came in mph we complained and got sent one with mph instead
What is the range like on this
hi. I'm only going off the battery and controller information from the manufacturers website.60 volts x 30 amps = 1800 watt/hours
1800 watt/hours divided by 20 watts/mile = 90 miles. (potentially)
Probably running in eco mode, and a little pedal assist on your part.
I had an order in and canceled because I needed to see a review. Specs I saw no bike even close plus it’s light weight as well. I’m just fat so I know it won’t hit the 50-60mph
Haha I know the big boy struggle myself. I am 260lbs for reference. Check my new video: ua-cam.com/video/3LUdrPv9Z-4/v-deo.htmlsi=ErcMYiqz6ELWSJtg
That was great, Thanks for the ride!!!!
Thanks for watching! 😎
Thanks for the update Manny. I'm curious if the sprocket is big enough to allow you to pedal at top speed or is it's to fast. In other words, what point does the motor out power the pedals. Thanks
Around 30mph you cant really keep up with pedaling. I have since removed the pedals: ua-cam.com/video/3LUdrPv9Z-4/v-deo.htmlsi=ErcMYiqz6ELWSJtg
It says speacial edition on July 15th can I get what u for and how
What's the range?
How does is drive with the chain/pedal delete . I’m cinfused how it drives without having a chain? I wanna get this and remove the pedals and chain but don’t want to destroy the bike
it has a wheel hub motor and not mid-drive
Se puede usar como una todoterreno? Puede hacer saltos o no?
Ooo I forgot to ask where did get the pedals thanks
I got them on Amazon they are similar to these: a.co/d/5CWlYKU
I go this speed with a 1000 watt mid drive kit.
Nice! What kind of bike did you put the kit on?
Throw some slick Road Tires on it. It will cut down on drag and road noise
Thats an upgrade I want to do in the future for sure!
@@mannymonroyThat is of course if you are using on hard top roads. Slicks will increase your speed by 5mph and lower battery consumption
I need to replace the brake fluid because the brake is super spongy. What do I do for that? (Regular bleed with dot 4 fluid? and what rotor did you get for this bike? Where did you get it?
I can’t find these brakes anywhere online.

Why is the July 15th bike (which I ordered yesterday) considered special edition?
because Marketing lol
Do they have new one coming out? On Amazon freego has one that’s on pre order and it goes 60mph but kind of looks like the one you are riding which maxes out at…43 maybe?
So an advertise sixty miles per hour but goes forty two
Looks better without the fenders.

Does the bike have a clutch derailleur?
Where did you bought it from? Because i went on the website and it said preorder
How long does it take to ship
How come it doesn’t let me buy with Visa card how can I buy it ?
I bet if you would tuck when going for top speed you would get 45-46mph. You were sitting straight up and that will slow you down.
That and he's 260 lol shi will be perfect for a 160 150 pounder wich is what I weigh I ordered it yesterday and excited asf
Wait, the pedals move also as you're on the throttle??? So if you're going 30,40mph etc, you have to match the speed of the pedals as they're turning?
No, you can keep the pedals still. Just like a normal mountain bike when rolling down hill.
What is the 0 to 20 time? Also is the hill climb from a stop on a slope? Interested in the torque primarily.
200nm
