In Germany you get Sur Rons and Talarias Street legal Out of the Box. You can buy them with those lights blinkers plate etc and then you can drive them with a specific license at the age of 15. unfortunately they are then slowed down to 28 mph, but you can Cut the wire or use the Brake Sensor Code to unlock them.
There is a brake-lever code which unlocks them as long the bike tuned on. They changed the code with the 2023 model. It’s now way more complicated. But I always get it within 3 try’s. Got the street legal 2023 LB in Germany.

5k is quite a lot for a bike but if there planning on making it more powerful at release and adding slightly better gear the price tag could seem more understandable.
I have a class M and for that price I could snag a 400cc maybe even a used 650cc. My thing is, a class M liscence is only a 2 days course for $300. So while I understand the material costs shippings etc. For this new bike...its now competeing with just getting a motorcycle since its legally able to ride on the street. Its not just competeing with SURRON or Talaria. Where as Surron and Talaria are just competeing as electric dirtbikes neither are street legal so the competition between those 2 price points is power focused, speed, build quality etc. So 4-5k between surrons and Talaria is understandable. However this new street legal bike? Its not competeing with surron and Talaria anymore because of the price point. Its competeing with motorcycles like the Ninja 400, yahmaha R3 etc. Because you can get those used for less than 5k which is full price of this bike. Pay $300 for a 2 day course and get the class M endorsed and your set. If they lowered the price and doubled the range than yes. It would compete with surrons because it would be cheaper than motorcycles but also street legal unlike the talaria and surron. It would be a solid middle ground. Buuuut since your paying 5k? Buy a Used Ninja 400 for about 3500-4k use the extra grand for some gear and class and bam your set all within a week-a month depending on DMV dates to just take your class certificate up there. The price is what may hurt this company for reasons stated above and it being streetlegal is great but because it is street legal at that price point...you may as well full send to a motorcycle at a 5k price point. Only thing it would have going for it is being able to off road at the same time but it isnt enough to pull the trigger when looking at the options we already have. I will say though, the bike itself looks CLEAN as fuck. If they were to lower the price instead of make it MORE than a used 300-400cc bike + Gear + MSF course than I'd snag it 100% at about 2.5-3k but not 5k. At 5k the options are wider especially considering its street legal capabilities.

What would be the point of that ??🤷♂️ the whole point of these bikes is to trick the cops its just a bike and you can ride on the bike lane and cut through the sidewalk when needed. If its street legal you lose all those perks and cannot ride on the bike lanes. At that point a motorcycle is better and faster
Watching suronster makes me want a e-bike so bad. But with life always pulling everything it can from me with bills and my moms medical And on top of that my cars transmission is failing. it will be years before I can even start saving for an e-bike Suronster if your still riding around in 5-6 years. I might finally be starting
To make a bike legal. This goes for any bike…. Even pit bikes It needs street wheels, lights. A plate, turn signals a horn. And mirrors Do that to any bike you can legally ride it along as you’ve gone to your local authority and shown them and they say yes. Most people just ride normal bc 1 you can get away pretty easy if you can actually ride it and 2 it’s wayyy to much effort to do all of that and costly for most peoples liking. Depending on where you live and the officers it’s for security when they go to the extent but if you live in a place like me you can ride n you won’t really get any problems
Sur Ron and talaria make steer legal bikes we get them in the uk and Europe, you must be able to get one to the US, they come with Vin numbers headlight break and tail light indicators or turn signals
forgot to say this, but SURRONS ARE STREET LEGAL WITH DMV REGISTERATION!!! I personally dont prefer to register it cuz of the fees and stuff, but it is possible you guys! The California State 2 Wheel laws have accepted Surrons as a street legal bike!
Man ik that area... Dont be showing everyone that spot, its popular enough as it is and is constantly being completely trashed and ransacked. You and your homies going there doing tricks and shit on the street is only going to make the police presence there higher. Just last week a helicopter had to go up there and arrest people for starting a fire. Not cool homie, not cool.
NIU definitely went all-in with the techie bells and whistles on this one. I look forward to hearing more about the registration process, hope it goes smooth. They need to add a little more slack in the frame headtube angle though. I found the handling to be very squirrelly. Prob good for wheelies and off-roading, terrible for everything else. Two people dumped it at the Electrify Expo during test rides. How do you like the ride geometry?
What about important questions like,: 1. Does this require a class M license? 2. Are the brakes enough? (Much better but still seem underpowered) 3. Advantages of this over say a Yamaha MT 3 which retails for exactly the same price but goes 110mph and has real brakes and suspension?
As a street bike rider. I can appreciate the skills it takes to do wheelies. But for FUCKS SAKE, don't do it twords oncoming traffic. You could cause the other vehicle to swerve and crash. Or you just might hit a pot hole or other road hazard and vere right into the vehicle.
Finally if its street legal now I can finally buy one. I was looking in to the niu NQi+ but I went for the Super Soco CPx. But now my wife needs a ride Oh its by Niu that's why now I can visit my Niu dealership. Glad he mention all the others are not street legal.

i don't think he replies to comments? don't tell your parents it's a good investment. it isn't, and they know this as well. you buy these things for 4k and struggle to sell them for 2 a couple of years down the line, but it's not the point. show them you're responsible enough to ride smart, and that you have the patience to hone your skills riding, this is what they want to see. the mob rides surronster does are actually one of the most dangerous parts of this sport, on top of that he almost never wears gear other than the full face helmet. it's not enough for these bikes, boots, proper gloves, light motorcycle jacket are also needed and some of this stuff is perfectly cold enough to wear in the summer (don't buy leather, it's too much). i know anything that stands between you and your 5 kilowatt mini dirtbike you'll just brush it off as some idiotic advice, but at 13, would you consider buying a bmx bike, jumping halfpipes for a couple of years, and getting into the heavier stuff at perhaps 16? it would be smart, and the skill you'll build transfers there nicely. you'll still break a finger there occasionally, but it's much less likely to cause you life changing injuries than motorbikes. just a thought
Thanks for the advice I appreciate it but I don’t know how I kan show my skill more then I already do I drive our electric scooter 🛵 and I have driven other bikes like a 50kph pit bike and and my friends atv so what do I need to do?
he's a bit boring, but maybe watch some dandanthefireman here on youtube, and consider his "rules" for riding@@lauritsholmbergmadsen4997 he's all about anticipating accidents before they happen. he has loads of content, but the gist of it is really 10 minutes. anticipating, , effective communication between riders, dealing with emergencies, and being able to take care of other riders when something happens is his whole shtick. ATV-s are death. they're probably worse than anything 2 wheeled.
i mean if they see you being at least a bit interested in safety, not just ripping around at blazing speed, they might catch on@@lauritsholmbergmadsen4997 it's all about that coveted "responsible behaviour" i think. i don't know your parents

At 5k the options are wider especially considering its street legal capabilities.
how is it still coming soon
real
I’m excited for a video on the full released version to the public, since they say it should be faster and what not. We will see !

in denmark you can put a plate on a surron and talaria but if you buy them with plates aka street legal they can only go 30 km/h and 45 km/h
not street legal in the UK 😫 anything over 20mph almost banned 😭
U can make it road legal, insurance mot tax etc..
street tires option would be good too. Tho they are very thin as you pointed out, Lighter I guess means less power usage
Man i enjoy watching your rides way too much. Hopefuly I can get myself one someday and enjoy my loneliness and freedom riding on my own ! I really need that.
Keep enjoying life like that man, its such beautiful!
Have you tried a pet rock ? Would be durable if your not a good rider and inexpensive to maintain
@@1STGeneral oh, It isnt about riding. Its about having the money to buy one 😂 hopefuly some day!
1:57 My god .. i loved all the features so much
How much did they pay you to waffle all of that script….!😖🤣. Was rather obvious as every time you said something bad about it you justified it with “it will be faster upon release etc..😅😂
It’s a prototype, of course it’s not gonna be finished that’s quite literally what it means
@ NOOOOO WAY!!😱….
I don’t know about the us but here in the uk we do have a road legal version of the talria sting mx4. I wanted a talria and at the time the road legal version of the mx4 was the only one available so that’s the one I have currently
the same country that outlaws tiny wheel scooters has 6-8 kilowatt peak power ebikes road legal?

Then do it 😊
I need to get me one of these bikes man. Watching your videos. Is awesome saving money to get mine own one day.
A grom is $3500 and goes faster with a longer range...just sayin
Bruh a Grom is not electric

This is more decreet riding in the neighborhood
@reempire888 it's a over priced powerwheels...
@@reempire888that is true, but a stock exhaust on a grom is very very quiet
youve inspired me, theres a sign saying no trespassing around this dirt road probably leading to a dam or something, im gonna trespass, normally I only hit up abandoned houses with no door (usually pretty free to roam just make sure its empty) this one is "protected by the city police" but id bet theyll give me a slap on the wrist tbh
You cant trick the cop anymore, those bike been around since 2019 now. They all know about it
Watching suronster makes me want a e-bike so bad. But with life always pulling everything it can from me with bills and my moms medical And on top of that my cars transmission is failing. it will be years before I can even start saving for an e-bike Suronster if your still riding around in 5-6 years. I might finally be starting
Too much 6k

To make a bike legal. This goes for any bike…. Even pit bikes It needs street wheels, lights. A plate, turn signals a horn. And mirrors Do that to any bike you can legally ride it along as you’ve gone to your local authority and shown them and they say yes. Most people just ride normal bc 1 you can get away pretty easy if you can actually ride it and 2 it’s wayyy to much effort to do all of that and costly for most peoples liking. Depending on where you live and the officers it’s for security when they go to the extent but if you live in a place like me you can ride n you won’t really get any problems
$5k I'm buying a Chrysler or a motorcycle.
You know it's a good day when surronster posts a video.
6k for that naw i'll just get a real bike for that price
Sur Ron and talaria make steer legal bikes we get them in the uk and Europe, you must be able to get one to the US, they come with Vin numbers headlight break and tail light indicators or turn signals
Day 3 of asking for a free surron😢
I’m to broke to
get a job
There 500 on offer up that's where I got mine
Just act normal 🎉❤😂
Me to I need it
I’ll do one push-up for every like
forgot to say this, but SURRONS ARE STREET LEGAL WITH DMV REGISTERATION!!!
@Sur Ronster I love your videos and have watched all of them and have always wanted an ebike. I have always wanted a razor like the one you ride
This bike sucks
NIU definitely went all-in with the techie bells and whistles on this one. I look forward to hearing more about the registration process, hope it goes smooth. They need to add a little more slack in the frame headtube angle though. I found the handling to be very squirrelly. Prob good for wheelies and off-roading, terrible for everything else. Two people dumped it at the Electrify Expo during test rides. How do you like the ride geometry?
im tripping so bad rn ive been subed for over a year and bro just rode past my street in sierra madre im so happy rn
That I need to call you "The King of SURRON" and I'm the fan of you.
What about important questions like,: 1. Does this require a class M license? 2. Are the brakes enough? (Much better but still seem underpowered)
3. Advantages of this over say a Yamaha MT 3 which retails for exactly the same price but goes 110mph and has real brakes and suspension?
keep the work up man! i have been subbed on my dads account since 2020 and i still love watching your videos
Im buying one tomorrow for Black Friday wish me good luck on my first ride
As a street bike rider. I can appreciate the skills it takes to do wheelies. But for FUCKS SAKE, don't do it twords oncoming traffic. You could cause the other vehicle to swerve and crash. Or you just might hit a pot hole or other road hazard and vere right into the vehicle.
what is stopping someone from stealing the battery from the bike by using the seat latch?
Finally if its street legal now I can finally buy one. I was looking in to the niu NQi+ but I went for the Super Soco CPx. But now my wife needs a ride
Oh its by Niu that's why now I can visit my Niu dealership.
Glad he mention all the others are not street legal.
Hi Sur Ronster i love ur videos but im just so annoyed that my parentes doesnt let me get a bike or atv even after years of asking for one for my birthday and crismas and now im 13 years old and i jest want to have some fun riding so pleas u would be the best man on this planet if u wold at least just show my parents why its a good investment and it will guarantee that im more outside and having fun insted of sitting in side all day i love u man ur a real inspiration keep op the good work
i don't think he replies to comments? don't tell your parents it's a good investment. it isn't, and they know this as well. you buy these things for 4k and struggle to sell them for 2 a couple of years down the line, but it's not the point. show them you're responsible enough to ride smart, and that you have the patience to hone your skills riding, this is what they want to see. the mob rides surronster does are actually one of the most dangerous parts of this sport, on top of that he almost never wears gear other than the full face helmet. it's not enough for these bikes, boots, proper gloves, light motorcycle jacket are also needed and some of this stuff is perfectly cold enough to wear in the summer (don't buy leather, it's too much). i know anything that stands between you and your 5 kilowatt mini dirtbike you'll just brush it off as some idiotic advice, but at 13, would you consider buying a bmx bike, jumping halfpipes for a couple of years, and getting into the heavier stuff at perhaps 16? it would be smart, and the skill you'll build transfers there nicely. you'll still break a finger there occasionally, but it's much less likely to cause you life changing injuries than motorbikes. just a thought
ATV-s are death. they're probably worse than anything 2 wheeled.
i mean if they see you being at least a bit interested in safety, not just ripping around at blazing speed, they might catch on@@lauritsholmbergmadsen4997 it's all about that coveted "responsible behaviour" i think. i don't know your parents
i know in norway you can get a street legal surron, but only registered as a moped so limited to max speed 45km/h, like 28mph ish.
What stops a Talaria being street legal in the US? In Europe you can choose if you want a street legal or “Off-Road only” version.
definitely worth 5k, coming from a road biker, if you like it, its worth it, 20,000 dollar orbea orca aero fully customized, i love it, worth it
That shot at 14:03 is insane. There is something that makes it pop! Looks so good!
yeap. iphone cinematic mode it's called
I live in Germany and got me a street legal Sur Ron LB last year. They go by the Name sur Ron light bee (L1E), wich you can register for like 30 bucks. It also got mirrors, number plate holder, blinker and reflectors. Costs pretty much the same as the non street legal LB.
Why don’t they sell them in the USA? I’m mean the demand for those things to be street legal ist there…
I'm looking to purchase my 1st electric dirt bike, came across this brand Hezzo they have 1 electric dirt bike on paper it's much better then sur ron for a lower price (3.2-4k) depends where you're buying it the only problem is i can't find any reviews on it is it possible you could try it out? it would be the best price for performance bike out there if all checks out maybe they could even send you one for free.
Great video thanks. Keep us posted on any new releases👊
Please review and compare the Solar E-clipse 72v 45ah bike to this. Its also street legal
What do you do with all these spare bikes that you have?
Holy that guy doing a wheelie down the highway is crazy 🤘
The STREET LEGAL Surron e-bike represents a remarkable blend of cutting-edge technology and practical design, tailored for urban and off-road adventures alike.
here in iceland if you go on any website that sell surrons they NEED to be street legal or else they cant sell it
(so basically you can only have a street legal surron)
in my country talaria mx4. mx5 and surron lbx has to versions road legal with trun signals double headlight, mirrors, turn signals and more also evry ultra bee is street leagl
surprised you don't have road legal talarias and surons over there, my talaria sting road legal new was only £3000 and friends x3 £2500 on the road
You'll have to hook me up with the dealer bro 😳 2500 is a crazy good price
@@poplix2704 a dealership in exeter devon had them for sale
That bike is cool, but I would build a DIY battery with a charge cable coming off of it from the BMA. That way I could add a charger port to the side of it and not have to disconnect the battery all the time.
You should REALLY wear some sort of respirator when going into abandoned places. I know, I sound like I'm just being a wuss. But I used to tag in a lot of abandoned spots and some of them can REALLY damage your lungs if you're exposed to the wrong particulants. I've left tags around a giant mercury spill in an abandoned munitions factory. 😅
That display is nice. They should make these compatible with car chargers so you can charge super fast and fry your battery at the same time.
unfortunately the component that does that is normally 1800 dollars just itself :/ (this is from memory, 100% outdated and might be inaccurate)
@@markifi I just looked it up and you are right. I didn’t realize it was so insanely expensive.
