“So others may live” is honestly the most badass motto of any unit.
“These things we do, that others may live.” Said it many times.
in all armies this unit mostly train and never ever do much. rescue op= 30 seconds on ground or less. 0 verified kills. they are helicopter crew. assigned to 1st: be fastest on the ground 2nd: make sure they and helicopter are safe 3rd: medical crew. they work with the most SF unit and ops: they come to lift up their HVT, wounded and rescued POWs.= 30 seconds on the ground on a secured LZ. badass? go to the SF unit that is on the ground for the duration. you want airforce pool? go to PJ's. sadly. all facts. they're part of SF without ever never do something SF. the SOP is they need to be off ground fastest with wounded= no shooting.
@@oriamir8994 Factually incorrect on all counts.
@@mikeity2009 nope you are
@@oriamir8994 Nope PJ's are the most decorated and accomplished special operations unit aside from delta. They have hardest training pipeline and regularly see combat. They're combat medics and special operators rolled into one.
"0 verified kills" Yeah buddy I'll take US military lore from some dipf named amir. Yup.
congrats to the air force for making ads that make me wanna join, not like the army one's. Gotta say this one is very good

@@USAirForceRecruitingcan non us citizens join?
King, you must live in the United States or an area that has an Air Force recruiter. Enlistment into the U.S. Air Force by citizens of countries other than the United States is limited to those foreign nationals who are legally residing in the United States and possess a U.S. Citizenship or non US citizens must have an Immigration Services (U.S.C.I.S) Registration Card (INS Form I-551 -- Commonly known as a "Green Card". The green card must be a 10 year green card. Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 39 years old, must speak, read and write English fluently to apply to join the Air Force. The Air Force does not bring applicants to the United States to join. You must get to the United States legally on your own and complete all immigration processing to obtain your Green Card on your own. The Air Force does not help.

Honestly, we place a lot of spotlight onto the Navy Seals and Rangers, but IMO, the PJs are underrated. They embody their motto, "so others may live" in their skillset but also go through an intense training pipeline to be qualified. I have a ton of respect for PJs and CROs.
Also the secret services' CAT is underated SF
PJs are the biggest, most selfless badasses in the SOCOM.
Like they straight up go on borderline suicide missions to save some apex grunts just because Uncle Sam won't live a man behind
special forces medics ftw
@@lightswitch7424they are not sf, sf is green berets, green berets is DOD, SSCAT is DOJ.
Amen. Seals and Rangers respect the hell out of PJ’s. Ask any of them.
As someone who's been training for the pipeline for almost a year now, I'm absolutely pumped to finally see an ad for the PJs. Also as many have said, the AFSOC ads have been leagues better than the other recruitment ads lately, thanks for the extra motivation

Good luck buddy, I’m army now but hope to possibly switch to PJ someday
I knew a PJ who use to coach with me. Absolute monster of a guy built like a machine and one of the most respectable men I’ve ever met. He would help tend to injured players on both our team and the opposition
Now this is a real military ad
Even SEALS need heroes.
LOL! Hooyah!
Great Ad ! Air Force Special Operations selection is possibly the toughest of all the selection programs. Every Tier One unit has an Air Force Special Operations guy attached to them, John Chapman, Michael Pitsenbarger, Ish Villegas, Mark Forester. Search these USAF Special Operations guys. Absolute warriors & heroes.
Pararescue is the coolest and most badass career field in the Air Force!
Let's gooooo!!
This is what I am currently working towards, I dream to be a PJ. I can’t wait for the day when I make it through the training pipeline and earn my maroon beret 💪🏾🙏🏾
Hooyah brother see you there 💪

When I was 14 I decided I wanted to be a PJ. I have been training every single day for the past 4 years, so that I could, just maybe, be a PJ. I’m looking to go to the USAFA or VMI, go through boot camp, and fulfill my dream of being a Pararescueman.
don't be a coward and don't join these people who hate you and want you dead, if you join the US army you bring shame upon your family and it will ruin your life.
remember these people hate you and want you dead, don't die in their wars for no reason, it won't keep people safe, quite the opposite.
Nice, I'm 14 right now and I've decided this is gonna be my career path.
Hope y’all know what you’re getting into, but I would assume you both do. Better have a backup plan tho cause honestly, you probably ain’t gonna become a PJ when there’s an attrition rate of over 80%-90%. But best of luck, seriously, if it’s your dream then go for it.
Get in really good shape & learn to hold your breath under water for a long time. You’re near the coast, take up spearfishing & freediving. If not look for an underwater hockey group. Happiness is the way, not the destination. Also read the poems “If” & “Invictus” if you think you’re ready to quit. Bonne chance mon frere. TTWDTOML

Im a hospital corpsman and this is making me think about switching to the airforce after this contract is finished ive only got 2 more years left in. However i do love being greenside and the navy but this looks like it could be up my alley more
I really love PJs for their motivation in saving their brother's lives. 👍😍
Hooyah PJ’s!!!!
These guys are badass. Much respect
This is pretty cool. Both from a video stand point and demonstration of capability, digestible for potentials enlistees. Army had a few awesome recruitment videos, I believe “Warriors Wanted”, and this is right in line. Wish DOD would make more of these.

I'm gonna try to be an officer not SW but this ad is definitely motivational regardless
When Seals dail 911, PJs pick up.
I mean i would go with for recruitment "who saves the heroes, when the heroes need saving", or Pararescue , PJ's built different
⚡Resiliência, treinamento, força, lealdade⚡🗿
love the ad, I sure hope the Air Force has more officer positions in the future for psychology majors. Even after I graduate next year with my bachelors from UT Austin I was told by a recruiter there are no jobs for me 😮💨
Lets hope I get accepted into the clinical psychology program for my doctorates so I can actually use this psychology degree in the Air Force, I hope to join one day...
This is how you make a recruiting ad not like "It all starts in California, Emma and her 2 moms"
I’ve always wanted to join the air force at some point when I start college. What are the requirements to fly jets such as the F-15, F-16, F-22 and more?
Good morning. General requirements to be a pilot:
US citizen
Applicants who are under the age of 33 and/or have less than 8 years of total federal commissioned service (TFCS) may apply to complete medical flight screening (MFS).
4-year college degree with at least a 2.5 GPA
Height specifications vary by aircraft and most applicants can successfully pursue a career in aviation with the US Air Force. Applicants who are significantly taller or shorter than average may require special screening to ensure they can safely perform operational duties. Applicants of all heights are encouraged to apply.
Vision will be evaluated.
Color vision is required
There are many possible paths you can take in pursuit of earning your wings. You could choose to get your degree on your own and apply for your commission following graduation. Or, you could choose to come on to active duty and let the Air Force pay up to 100% of your college tuition (effective 1 Oct 2002). You could gain valuable Air Force experience while getting your degree. Once you have obtained your degree, you may apply for your commission to be selected to become a pilot.

Makes me proud to be a PJ
It is my heart wrenching job to report that another Vietnam war PJ has reported for duty with our Lord Jesus Christ. Sgt E-6 H. P. (Quill) Quillian passed away Tuesday Aug 6 after a long battle with cancer. He fought off five cancers (including three stage four) over the past twelve years but his lungs were so damaged in the end that nothing more could be done. He was a typical PJ who fought to the very end then insisted on signing his own DNR so no one in the family would have to bear that burden. He was the very first member of the Air Force to attend the Green Beret Recondo school and the last NCOIC for Pararescue in Vietnam. He was awarded numerous awards and medals for valor including the DFC and multiple Air Medals among others. Hero’s don’t wear capes, they wear combat boots and dog tags. I miss you terribly already Dad. May you rest in peace.
These guys go through some of the hardest training out there, "that others may live."

Brb, going to my local recruiting office and saying that I identify as a woman but want to be a PJ. That way, I can claim to be high speed while being immune from PT standards and being non-deployable forever.
I want to be motivated, but it is impossible to be motivated when current DoD policies mean that I could potentially serve under a "person" who will never have to push themselves to serve this country. Life as a civilian is more fulfilling than being forced to take orders from a man wearing a woman's uniform who will never be held to the same standards I am.
The USAF itself needs to "aim high" in terms of the standards it holds itself and its personnel to. Currently, many LEAs have higher standards than the military.
I guarantee the recruitments will be up
Bro is wearing nods with sunglasses during the day

@froggboy55 By Federal Law you must be at least age 17 with parental consent and at least a junior to have an appointment or to join the Air Force. However, they may speak to recruiters when they come to their high school.

@slxmjxmmy1 You do not have to wait until you graduate high school. By Federal Law you must be at least age 17 with parental consent and at least be a junior to have an appointment or to join. However, they may speak to recruiters when they come to their high school.
If qualified you can join at age 17 with parental consent during your junior or senior year in high school as part of The Air Force Ambassador Program and enter the Delayed Entry Program (DEP). However, you will not go to Basic Military Training (BMT) until after you graduate high school.
Suggest if you are old enough and at least a junior, that you speak with a special warfare recruiter for more information. What is your age, citizenship, grade you are in and zip code?

This could potentially be medically disqualifying. However, the doctor at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) makes that determination. Your local recruiter can have your medical records for this condition prescreened by the doctor at MEPS for a preliminary ruling in your particular situation. It is routine during the screening process that all applicants are asked in-depth questions about their medical history. Just like other medical matters such as broken bones or asthma, we would request medical paperwork for the Chief Medical Officer to review for a determination.
