They mold their bodies and minds to not cave in under any stress or fatigue, however severe it may be. They learn to push their body to the limits. That's why you can call them the strongest, because even if they weren't born talented, they achieved heights that almost no man can reach, and usually, they do this just as much for themselves as others. Never back down, always keep fighting, when you’re knocked to the ground, get up. Damn near every time you get knocked down you will get back up because of motivation to fight for what your life and others depend on, whether in the field or back home, never let others take you down, do not succumb to their insecurities, as you may find that they are what make you stronger. Start off, every day, doing something, something meaningful, work out, make your bed, go for a run and take a shower after. It doesn’t matter what you feel like that day, any day of your life, but get up and do something rather than laying down all day or sleeping longer.
soldiers go through so much, they are so strong, i am grateful for men and women such as these. who give EVERYTHING they have for people they will never meet or know.

This is what the world that we live in today needs to hear and that there is people that quit and that there is people that succeed and you can choose whether you want to be the person that quits or you want to be, the person that succeeds
"When you want to quit, think about two things. (1) how you will feel after you've accomplished your goal, (2) plan to quit right after you've completed the task, and I guarantee you - you will feel both as you cross the finish line. However, since you've crossed the finish line, your ego will eventually accept success than quitting, and you will never feel so proud to keep pushing forward. And you won't quit. If I'm wrong tell me" Is what I used to hear when I walked the death march each semester. If I remember correctly rucks and duffles were filled so that when you stepped on the scale, you were slightly past your body weight. Da f*** is what I used to say. Now looking back... it was worth it - every step, drop of sweat, drop of blood, scars & scratches, sun burns. It makes you believe... impossible is nothing.

I didn’t have the body to be a warrior like a SEAL, PJ, TACP, CCT, Green Beret, Marine recon, Delta op, etc. But I had the chance to serve with a few of them and it was an honor. One of my greatest life memories was assisting a PJ flight/squad load up into a C130 with their gear. The dudes were massive, towering over me and I’m 6 ft tall. They were on their way to a FOB in Afghanistan near Kandahar. In the distance as I was loading up the C130 on the flightline are two A10s, taxiing to a runway. I didn’t have the clearance to know if the A10s were associated with the PJs, on the same mission, but it was the most badass, goosebump filled experience I’ve ever had. I miss being in.
Being in special forces is 80% mental and only 20% physical. Guys much shorter than you have gone on to be seals. The only reason you wouldn't "have the body" for it is because you weren't working out hard enough and consistently enough to be jacked. And that's a mental thing. To push yourself physically day in and day out to a point where you're buff as hell. Anyone can do it but it requires mental fortitude and willpower. Your body wasn't the reason you couldn't be a seal it was your mind.

The fuck is a recon ranger? You mean Force Recon?
Ranger in the corps huh?
@@supertrooper7403 I would assume he means Force reconnaissance Marines, but if not possibly a transfer.
Also, its odd that as a poolee you would be offered that but what do i know.
Currently undergoing technical training to be an aircrew Flight Engineer aboard c130s in the air force. It's fucking crazy hard. Way more than anything I've done before. But I eventually want to be a Special Missions Aviator and then from there become a combat pilot or special operations pilot. I think I just found the video I'm gonna watch every morning before class haha
Good luck
good luck, we're counting on you to get us to our destination! do your fucking best!
LETS GOOO MAN, I loveee planes, especially army planes, if i ever joined army, it would be airforce, but for now, i like to study history and ww2 especially and ww2 planes ofc. I love you bro, I wish you all the best and i hope you will life a very happy life. God damn, planes are so cool, pilots are even more.
Can you tell us something more about classes you have? What are you being thought
You can do it! Don't think of the nays, think of the yeahs..don't even think of a bell!

One of the best speeches ever, life is not fair, you will fail often. Im taking those two 4 word lines to the grave. You take that and learn from your mistakes and become a better person.
These are words of wisdom, a gift that we should heed, remember, and share. Everyone should hear these words, we need to continue to change the world.... thank you for sharing this...
As an ex UKSF disabled on duty I can say a civilian or any other soldier can never understand they just can’t I miss and love my friends in Valhalla
It's fucked that's for sure, imo the hardest part of that life isn't the mud pits or the freezing cold or pushing 110% for days on end plus the high speed stress that comes with the fear of failing... it's when you get back home where it's Peaceful, quiet and incredibly boring. Never felt so alone and bored in my entire life. Stay well brother, hopefully we get to do it all over again in another time and life

Admiral McRaven, have my respect! 🔱
Thank you for all that have served ❤️❤️❤️
Sergeant said something similar, if 5 ppl quit we'd be able to sleep that night in a warm bldg. None of us quit bc we started chanting "we wont quit" "we never quit" and such. Was a motivation to keep going and not give up. That was in basic at F. Jackson July 2022
and now ur a weeb?????

Never back down, always keep fighting, when you’re knocked to the ground, get up. Damn near every time you get knocked down you will get back up because of motivation to fight for what your life and others depend on, whether in the field or back home, never let others take you down, do not succumb to their insecurities, as you may find that they are what make you stronger. Start off, every day, doing something, something meaningful, work out, make your bed, go for a run and take a shower after. It doesn’t matter what you feel like that day, any day of your life, but get up and do something rather than laying down all day or sleeping longer.
Everyone’s always complaining how we need to leave a better world. Let’s leave better children for the world instead.

He was first and foremost a Navy Seal. The grit & determination he acquired at the academy propelled him to become an astronaut and a doctor later.

If I'm wrong tell me"
Is what I used to hear when I walked the death march each semester.

That is what every man should be apart of and believe in every man should watch this and know what they are meant to do.
2:12 these words coming form this man I will carry with the rest of my life.
Good message " never back down" meaning never surrender in order to achieve an objective including personal. Nice speech

Mental toughness is many things and rather difficult to explain. Its qualities are sacrifice and self-denial. Also, most importantly, it is combined with a perfectly disciplined will that refuses to give in. It’s a state of mind- you could call it character in action.’
