“I NEVER WANT MY KIDS
LOOKING UP TO SOMEONE ELSE”
that hits hard
I've got my first due in two months. Man do I share this sentiment with you.
yeah!
And it should. Just imagine a world where more and more people felt that way and acted upon it.

Yeah I got the chills on that one… time to step it up.
THIS is the type of video ads the military needs to invest in.
Exactly not that stupid ass woke bullshit
Wokeness is all the Army cares about now lol. Mark Milley would call all of these guys white supremacists and open an investigation on them.
@@JesusChrist2000BC honestly him, along with a multitude of other politicians wearing military uniforms, are simply agents for the deep state agenda. Its ridiculous whats happened to our military.
It literally said goarmy at the end dummy
@@judeathknowshisgun5290 Its not a military ad. In the description it even says that they are not affiliated with the 10th SFG
In June of 1968, at Fort Benning jump school, a Green Beret came over to a group of us who had just earned our 'silver wings' and asked us, who among us wanted to be their own boss. Long story short: 10th SFG, 5th SFG and MACV-SOG. Glad to be alive. Once a Special Forces soldier, always a Special Forces soldier. Seventy-three now and keeping my skills sharp. Sneaky Pete...

Thank you for your service sir. I’ll try my best to make myself useful to this amazing country. My worst fear is failing what I tried so hard to accomplish. I really want to be a green beret. I don’t know if I have what it takes yet.

@@sedicibrah2025 don't have to be SF to serve. Anyone in the forces are serving. Doesn't matter if you are just a grunt, you are still serving.
Mac-v sog. You are a warrior. Thank you sir
When I decided to start training for selection it was last March. I am putting my packet together as we speak for October. Dreamed of being a Green Beret since I was a kid. Time to make that shit my reality. Great video!
Edit * Thanks for all the support. My packet has been completed and sitting on the SF recruiters desk. Just waiting for fiscal year 22 to open up and I’ll be classed. I wish all of you the best as well in everything you do.
***** Update 6/08/2022 12:45PM *****
I collapsed a couple of weeks prior to report date. Not a heat injury but apparently I have holes in my heart and an enlarged atrium. Long story short, I’m being medboarded and currently waiting on ratings. I never replied because I’m devastated of the outcome of me wanting to pursue my dreams. Thanks for all the support and I pray everyone one of you gets selected and makes it through.
Go to work. I’m right behind you
I feel that. Just submitted my enlistment papers. Just waiting on my waivers.
Best of luck brother! Training my ass off to hopefully get an 18x contract next year

It does. The civilian world is honestly terrifying. It never felt like my calling to stay in the average path of life.

5 and a half months into my career, 3 more weeks to go for my course til i become an infantry qualified soldier
Worldwide or batt boi?
How did it go ?
That line "I never wanted a normal life I never wanted a normal job" really hits, having to work at the office routinely is like being a drone loyal to a company that leeches your life

Every now and then, when my mind is fogged up, i come here, look at this video, and remind myself that this lifestyle saved my life…
I was at a very low point in my life. Watching this video motivated me so much to work out and get out of my funk and dream of joining the army to be a ranger. The song the video the quotes, brought me to tears and made me more humble towards being a proud American. Thank you to all the men and women who have serve and are serving on our armed forces.

I literally am in the same spot as you. November was a bad month for me, but im now going to be a ranger too brother
All the best! Go out there and be great! Hoah!!
You gotta train everyday and you gotta want it more than anything hard work and dedication is how you make it. You got this fuck being normal be a fkn savage

I've never heard words hit so close to my heart, this is exactly why I'm leaving my career and degree behind and joining the army as a ranger.

That’s awesome, man! Are you following any specific training plan?
How’d it go?

I regularly come and watch this video to reaffirm my path in life. Be the man you want your kids to surpass.

Put in the work brother
I Did a National Guard Special Forces 1 day event yesterday. Flew from Illinois to Massachusetts to see the 20th special forces group. Currently civilian prepping for SFAS these words hit home, want this job and life more than anything
The one person who disliked this video is the person who got kicked out of SFAS for not putting out and working in a team, and then went on to say horrible things about the community on the internet and to his peers. Weak-link
OK SARNT KEYBOARD COPY THAT

Perfect. Literally, every reason I've thought of was in this video. The most important being wanting to work with and be around people who feel the same way.
This might just be the best military promotion video on youtube. Amazing job!

1:38 *some* _POG_ *hit his nods with the feed tray LOL*
Signed my 18x contract leaving this November, it was hard letting the wife and family know how bad I needed this, but now in trying to crush PT before heading out to basic.
I went through infantry osut with a lot of 18x and gonna graduate airborne school on the 7th while they go into selection. My one thing of advise is to not lose motivation, because that place is a 22 week shit hole and you’re gonna lose gains. I used to be strong asf and I lost most of what I had. Be doing insane amounts of push-ups sit ups pull ups and make your own weights (hill bags with shit and lift them or go to the bathroom with a towel and put it over the top to do pull-ups) eat as much as you can bro and work out all day every day because if you don’t you’ll suffer. I have a captain in my bay that passed selection completely and he said “you don’t have to be the strongest but be that guy that’s always willing to help carry or switch out, be there as a team member and keep your cool no matter what” just don’t lose motivation. Sand hill breaks you down and never builds you back up. They want to dick you down and see you fall. You have to show everyone you’re really about that fucking life. Good luck brother, go earn that blue cord.
@@julianwhite6566 Doc approves this message. Stay dangerous my brother.

@@joshknix1866 wtf are you talking about. I said regular ARMY meaning anything but SOF or SF.
Key phrase here is “wanted” because I joined I went through all the shit I deployed to a combat zone and it wasn’t worth what I sacrificed which was my mental health…
It wasn’t just you so don’t brag about it
This makes you think about life , your purpose beyond just surviving !!
Huge respect for those Few Fearless ❤
Out of every motivation video i ever looked for, this was hands down the best one
Probably the best recruiting ad I have seen for Army SF. It's a tie between this and Dirty Grandpa.
Always regretted walking away from a recruiter when things were hot. Fast forward, post college and in the midst of my “business” career my wife encouraged me to step into that recruiting office.
Although I enjoy what I do 9-5, there was nothing like lighting up the sky with my brothers during some training, sleeping in the mud and rucking 10 miles with a 50 # ruck with some SF guys.
My kids want to know more about what I do in the army than my 9-5; my step dad former army ranger & Apache bad @$$ calls them “there I was” stories. He would say “there I was” flying an Apache was a much better story than “there I was” closing a deal.
That said, kudos to all hard working men providing for their families whatever it is they do. I’m especially thankful I get to serve my country and have great stories with my fellow brothers while doing it.
Not an American but your story inspires everyone around the world alike! Thank you for your service. God bless you

Thank you for always being an inspiration and light in the dark.
This is one of the best videos I have ever seen.
This video is so damn important for young people to see. I am currently in that fucking office, and desk, pushing a 9-5 that’s sucking every ounce of joy from my soul each & every day and there is NOTHING I regret more in life than not serving in the military. I know that feeling is gonna stay with me til I leave this earth too. Can only hope & pray that God has something in store for me somewehere down the road.
Your message has a lot of weight. Thank you for sharing this.

This is so dope. These guys are awesome
I have watched this every single day
99-00 I was their transport in Kosovo. When I got back to the states the Army put me at Carson their home.
I rode Harleys with them and had a great time. One night it was brought up about Friend Remembered. I listened tot he guys talk about their friend who hit the landmine with the HMMWV.
I was on duty that night and the radio traffic was horrible to hear and we really wanted to launch a Hawk. I said nothing and we all took the shot.
Its a silent toast.
Thank you Bill, Chief and Rob for being good friends and the whole crowd. I was honored to fly you as my customers and ride with you on bikes.
I learned a lot from how you spoke and it made me a good NCO for my platoon as an E-5.
SM from other platoons wanted to come to mine that is how well we operated. We all came home in 04 from Iraq. Plus our birds trucks hell every last nut and bolt.
I thank you all for serving next to me and accepting me as a brother.
Probably the best recruiting vidoe I´ve seen

I first stumbled into this video when I was a week from graduating 11B MOS Q school, we had just finished a 12-mile ruck, and an assault on a village scenario right after. Still grateful to the 10th for some of the finest Infantry training I've ever had...without having been a part of them.
Was in the 10th at Devens. Best assignment in my career.

Thank you.🫡
As somebody who served a decade in infantry batts with multiple tours over, this mindset is exactly what drove me to always push and drive my guys into the dirt ensuring we were better prepared than the rest! After a career ending injury and being forcibly medically retired last year I now question what’s the meaning of it all, where do I fit in out here? Do I fit in out here?
I’m in business school studying finance and accounting at a D1 university and I can assure you guys like us do not fit in to that suit and tie corporate life. Do I finish the program? Do I start my own thing? Do I just live day to day? Idk but I do know this video is the first thing I’ve listened to in the last 19 months since being retired that explains how the hell I feel so thank you!
