Two things. Thanks for not having annoying techno/country/urban music. My daughter and I made this tonight and it was sooooo good. We actually didn't bake it, I just prepared it like you guys, and then I put a lid on the whole thing and just let the rice cook on low for 25 minutes. I used brown basmati rice from Aldi. We also shredded the chicken. BIG HIT!!! THANKS and have a happy new year.

Made this for dinner tonight!! It was delicious!! The basil garnish just completes the flavor profile! Next time I'll make it a tablespoon instead of a teaspoon of dry basil too hehe!! Also, I'll buy smaller chicken thighs...I got kroger brand "simple truth," and the thighs were huge...took longer to brown hehe... Thank you for this recipe👏👏👏 it's certainly added to my index! 😊😊

Substituted Basil for Herbs du Province (basil thyme and lavendar) because I didn't have normal basil. 10/10 recommend for the flavor profile!

Just curious...general question about your recipes (which look awesome)...what you recommend using if garlic, in the quantities in most recipes, makes you sick as a dog?
Also, what can be used in place of oyster sauce & fish sauce if you're violently allergic to all seafood?

I haven't been thru all your recipes yet, so you may have one. with this in...There's a spice mix with different variants called Baharat spice. I use it in curry. I have several debilitating chronic conditions, & I feel a bit more energetic after I eat a dish where I use it. Do you have a recipe using it? I get mine from My Spice Sage online, but I've seen it on other websites.

I'm not fond of the combo of chicken/tomato with rice. Do you think it (rice) could be replaced with squash? Of course, the squash would be partially boiled before being added.
this is very similar to jollof rice?
Can this be made with frozen skinless bone out chicken breasts?
Bake in the oven? Or just carry on cooking in the pan?

Y'all??..Well if u have done any kind of cooking,(and I'm confident u have)u could easily let this simmer on a low to medium heat for at least 45min to an HR..(the longer u cook something usually means the lower the Heat!)
