i rotate rival rb50 / venum hammer / mk1 select / boon lace / fairtex bgl7. I feel bgl7 is the best bag gloves for my medium hands at this price range, but you've peaked my interest with BGL6 breakdown. thank you
Nice rotation 👍 All fairtex gloves that I've used have been hard to beat for the price. Love BGL7 on the bag also hard to beat. Full review of BGL6 will come soon 😁
Great review. I own the Bgl7s in red and everything you said about that glove is correct. It takes a while to really break in, and the wrist support is 10 out of 10.
One glove for all long fingers BGV5, one glove for all short to medium fingers BGL6, maximum protection tight fit bag/mitt work light sparring BGL7, will update on full sparring after another 20 rounds or so break in.
I havn't tried them in 10oz to be honest. I have felt some fairtex 12oz models that have had stiffer foam than their 16oz models increasing protectiveness. Because I havn't tried them I cant confirm for BGL6 if they are stiffer more protective or softer more of a punchers glove.
For your height and weight sparring probably the BGV5. BGL6 is a bigger glove has a super long cuff and roomier hand compartment than BGV5. Im 182cm and BGL6 is one of the longest cuff gloves i have. Its long on my arms but i like long cuffs so doesnt bother me, on yours it would fit longer.

Cheers nice appreciate it good to hear 👍
I'm considering which one is the best for boxing overall because I'm not a fan of muay thai tbh
10oz BGL7.
Two months breaking in.
Only for bag work.

Would 10oz bgl 6 be more on the protective side or more on the puncher's side?
