I really need your advice I was going to message you on ig probably at the exact time this was posted today. I been watching your videos. It’s like this repost solidified things for me. The man I’ve been in love with for 16 years is totally secular and has demons. I’ve now given my life to Christ and been devoted now more then ever, I’m a core group sister and trying to change everything to live righteous. We have a kid together who’s a preteen and I don’t want to cause more trauma in her life by leaving her dad, and he’s the only man I’ve been with for years we initially wanted to marry young but didn’t and ended up traveling for years then had our kid and he’s left me several times but comes back always. I’m done with those ways and letting someone like that in my life I know it’s a soul tye but I know we both love each other. I often think if he gets saved he can heal and become the man god has planned for him to be and he would have a very powerful testimony. Do I stay and help him or see his demonic butt out the door? He is blind that the things he does and his secular interest are very antichrist and new age. He wasn’t taught about gods love growing up, and I believe still doesn’t know. He’s always positive towards my involvement in church and core group. He needs deliverance but I can not force that. I been speaking gods word more around him in a non pushy way. I been anointing our bed. But he has to turn to Jesus on his own. I no longer want to live out of wedlock and he is my only sin. I’m very confused on what to do.

As a person who didnt believe in god for almost half my life. God really does love you no matter who you are and what you did as long as you submit yourself to him. I met my partner at first and we moved in while we werent married yet. But now we are separate houses and fixing our sin and devote ourselves to god first and get married. I always prayed for someone to be with me to forever even heaven. Now God has gave me that person, now its my time to fully submit to him. Thank you and god bless to everyone
My husband has all this except 6, wish I saw this before I go married. I have prayed and fasted in what is a now 3 year marriage. I am official clocked out so please people take this serious. It will save you stress, tears and continuous heartache. Them changing may take years, years you could have been happy with who God wanted you to be with or single.

I literally broke up with a guy based on the 3rd factor listed (wandering eye). 98% of the people this guy followed were females who looked a certain way. If they followed him, I wouldn't have a concern but he was following them and most of them were not on his followers list. He called me jealous and said it didn't matter. But I knew deep down something was wrong. Thank you for confirming this - now I know it's called wandering eye.
Light and dark cannot coexist. I lived with a very wild fleshley women for 2 years. The flesh was very happy! But my spirit was dying. No God? No peace.
It's so funny, but you guys nailed it completely. I just got out of a relationship with a Christian girl from my old church worship team, so believe me you touched on a lot of these red flags that I had and the Holy Spirit revealed this all to me and because i wasn't mature in my wisdom and how to guard my heart, the relationship set me way back in my walk but it revealed to me strongholds that I didn't deal with when I first died to self and walked in the Spirit, so please I urge you, be a critical judge of who you engage with because if you get attached and sin with a sexual act, you can get dragged down fast. Omg Adam! This made me tear up when you said "so please I urge you, be a critical judge of who you engage with because if you get attached and sin with a sexual act, you can get drag down fast." 😔 This is exactly what happened to me. Now, I feel so dirty, not good enough and lost myself. I turned my back away from God because of that unequally yoked relationship. I thought it was "real love" but it is NOT. Nothing but hurt, pain, regret and guilt. Thank you for uplifting my spirit "and if that's you, just get out of that relationship and get back to Jesus" 😭 I needed this.
This is well appreciated. I am 50 and still wanting marriage. It is refreshing to hear this teaching. Even if you heard it but haven’t practiced these principles, its good that we submit to God and submit to this teaching. I think often times addicts also need inner healing, not just discipline and deliverance. Addiction often has a function, it numbs the pain or makes you forget about it.
Many pastors don't talk about such a topic in detail especially how to be in a relationship.. what relationships are advisable for the church etc..and as a young person... this what the devil attacks teenagers with mostly.. so this is a very good teaching.. thank you
@CloPlayGames It takes time. The feelings and emotions are going to be there for a while. I blocked my ex, totally cut off all communication. It was very painful but very necessary. I went before God and prayed for strength. Spend time with God and His Word, and trust me, you'll get through it all. 🙏🏼

Almost impossible to find a man or woman that has all these godly traits anymore. Even men who say they love God and follow the Bible can have severe mental problems and abuse their wives. I have experienced this on a personal level and it has lead me to trust nobody
So good, I shared this with 3 young people already. Wish I had that advice years ago. Ignoring the flags causes you years of heartache. If you believe God hates divorce, then you realize you made the decisions, now you live with the consequences.

probably, this video is for me, i've had already gone out of relationship where my girlfriend (mutual understanding) use to always lead me in sexual things but it is my mistakes too for in that kind of situation (that i comes to thinking which if i give her wants, it will gonna strengthen our intimacy/relationship) besides after a few months of being together, there's much been a red flags that I noticed which i didn't been taken care of, I always ask God for a sign if she's a will for me, draw her near to Him, but the situation got more worsened, the red flags deteriorated our relationship and especially my faith and relationship in Christ. These are really good tips, however, I think there should be differences said for someone who loves God, serves God, is active in ministry, and agrees with you in the faith, but has a stronghold. 70% of Christian men watch pornography, and some are struggling and want deliverance. This is different than a person who does not care about your areas of concern, or does not see a problem with it. It will be very hard to find a perfect person, but especially hard to find a perfect Christian.

1. Love God more than each other. 2. Actions and words don't match, a character flaw. 3. Have close friends that are not committed to the Lord. 4. Wondering eyes. Thank You, Jesus. You are to know what is going on on each other's phones. What do you have to hide? 5. Not healed from a previous relationship. Jesus and time heals. 6. Shows signs of control and abusive behavior. There is a difference between love and obsessiveness. 7. The person has the same sin and addiction problems. A person that is addicted needs a rehab and not a relationship and dating. Don't feed the addiction, get freedom. Drop that spirit like a hot potato. 8. The person doesn't respect purity. Guard your purity. Sexuality is like super glue. Deny sex until the altar. 9. You don't want kids to become like them. 10. You don't have peace before marrying this person. 11. Your members, mentors, and parents feel itchy about this person. 12. Being with this person and being distracted you from church, and Jesus. 13. You already pray to God to change that person.

I didn't have wise people round me, they were out for destruction (mine). and were really pleased nothing was right for me. they've been removed (some deaths) addiction for both of us my husband and me. both of us so much trauma happened to both of us. God got me a new place in 2 days, it should have been 2 year waiting list. we stopped going to church, it was just a battle ground. husband wants divorce ASAP, marriage has come to natural end. won't ever live at the place i live in never wants to go to church again. things are getting toxic he's getting angrier and angrier I've been crying 1 year and 3 months devastating 😢 💔 had heart attack, diabetes out if control because of so upset, ended up hospital gagerine had toe amputated. so if you got doubts don't do it RUN! OH YES THE OTHER THING IS THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU HAVE TO SPEND ON DIVORCE SHOCKING!!! IF IN DOUBT RUN RUN 🏃♀️ IT'S A MESS

But how is one supposed to honour it when you have only 1 parent and who used to beat you as a kid which can develop a resentment towards the parent/parents?

Point 5 comment. 6 months may not be long enough. Sure the length of the relationship does matter. For me, a widower after 40 years, it's been 6 (yes, six) years and I may be, just now, healed enough to try but apprehensive. Currently believe the rapture will happen prior to my potential relationship. I'm okay with that of course, JESUS first. It has been a long journey overflowing with learning, correction, and reproof. I have found all my answers to questions through searching the Bible, it is truly a living book not bound by time. Great podcast. Keep up the great work.

I definitely agree that one must look out for these ' warning signs' when befriending someone who is likely to become a regular feature in your life, for example dating, or spending a lot of time with this person etc. I am an older single female, never married and no kids. I am 55 years old and serving the Lord wherever He opens doors for me to serve. I have prayed for a marriage partner for many years and I am still open to meeting a godly man even at this stage of my life. I met my partner at first and we moved in while we werent married yet. But now we are separate houses and fixing our sin and devote ourselves to god first and get married. I literally broke up with a guy based on the 3rd factor listed (wandering eye). 98% of the people this guy followed were females who looked a certain way. If they followed him, I wouldn't have a concern but he was following them and most of them were not on his followers list. He called me jealous and said it didn't matter. But I knew deep down something was wrong. Thank you for confirming this - now I know it's called wandering eye.

These are really good tips, however, I think there should be differences said for someone who loves God, serves God, is active in ministry, and agrees with you in the faith, but has a stronghold. 70% of Christian men watch pornography, and some are struggling and want deliverance. This is different than a person who does not care about your areas of concern, or does not see a problem with it. It will be very hard to find a perfect person, but especially hard to find a perfect Christian.

8. The person doesn't respect purity. Guard your purity.
Sexuality is like super glue. Deny sex until the altar.
9. You don't want kids to become like them.
10. You don't have peace before marrying this person.
11. Your members, mentors, and parents feel itchy about this person.
12. Being with this person and being distracted you from church, and Jesus.
13. You already pray to God to change that person.

I didn't have wise people round me, they were out for destruction (mine). and were really pleased nothing was right for me. they've been removed (some deaths) addiction for both of us my husband and me. both of us so much trauma happened to both of us. God got me a new place in 2 days, it should have been 2 year waiting list. we stopped going to church, it was just a battle ground. husband wants divorce ASAP, marriage has come to natural end. won't ever live at the place i live in never wants to go to church again. things are getting toxic he's getting angrier and angrier I've been crying 1 year and 3 months devastating 😢 💔 had heart attack, diabetes out if control because of so upset, ended up hospital gagerine had toe amputated.
so if you got doubts don't do it RUN!

Point 5 comment. 6 months may not be long enough. Sure the length of the relationship does matter. For me, a widower after 40 years, it's been 6 (yes, six) years and I may be, just now, healed enough to try but apprehensive. Currently believe the rapture will happen prior to my potential relationship. I'm okay with that of course, JESUS first. It has been a long journey overflowing with learning, correction, and reproof.
