Hey Travis just a suggestion but off of same body style Escalade you can swap over the buttons from the ac controls and the headlight button to a nice round one I did almost the same set up but I went with purple on the cluster and the ac controls
Great video! I keep going back and forth on doing the trans temp addition to my '03 Tahoe. As you noted, the '03 and up gives you the ability to go crazy on colors, but I like the stock look, so I would stick with white leds most likely. Thanks as well for the recommendation on a quality vendor to do that work. It seems there are dozens of people/companies advertising the gauge and switch led work there days, so it's good to hear a positive review on one I now feel I can trust sending my parts.
@@TWAMotorsports I looked at a few trucks while in Florida for 2 weeks I just couldn't pull the trigger on one I was being picky. A 04 Sierra had a really clean body V8 extra cab but the interior had broken everything I don't know how But little to much for me so holding off keep shopping
this is awesome. im debating on white or a colored theme for the lighting its been the hardest decision lol wish multicolor was an option so i can switch it up
I want to do blue LED lights in my truck. I’m color blind and blue is one of the colors that I can really see well. Was it expensive to have your controls and cluster done? I noticed that it looked like your drivers windows switch was one touch. Did that come from a single cab or extended cab?
Love the videos! Have you thought about putting a blue lighting gel over the P R N D L section on your cluster? Not sure how well it would work, but gels are pretty in inexpensive. B&H PhotoVideo is a good place to look.
A thing I just realized, for some reason with 99 models you can't put a 00-02 cluster in it otherwise the airbag light would stay on. Have you found a way to fix the air bag light to turn off or are you just living with it
They are selling me a 2001 Denali cluster for $40, I love the oem look with the lights. Would that work for my 01 Silverado ? Also would the trans temperature work? I’m buying solely for the trans temperature since I like to see the temperature. But I would like to upgrade it like yours if it would
Hey man I was just wondering you said it should work but never really said exactly if it worked but with doing the segment swap on the 4l80e did it make the temp gauge work?
Which fan kicks on as your primary fan, drivers or passenger side? Bought my truck with the efan swap done. Drivers fan runs, but was thinking the passenger side fan would probably be more efficient since it blows air more directly at the engine.
@@TWAMotorsports with the hp tuners you can set the fans to turn on when the ac turns on also the pcm has the connector for the ac with is #33 on the green connector and #42 on the red/blue connector
Travis, are those the Posi-Taps? Couldn't check it out because there was no link. EDIT: As a side note the keyless entry receivers are a dime a dozen. They are obsolete from GM and when I first bought my truck I couldn't program the new fobs I bought. I looked behind the cluster and it was missing, I figured it was bad and would have to live with it as I looked and looked and just found the harness side plug. Flash forward 4 months later and I was running some wiring and found the box deep down in the dash. Plugged it in and boom! I could program my fobs, that aside. I spent the better part of 4 months looking for one and all I could find were used and you never know 100% if they work.
@@TWAMotorsports I’ve replaced the parking break switch. That didn’t work. Would the brake master cylinder sensor cause it ? My fluid level is good tho.
my gauge cluster is from east coast gauge repair and it was one of the best purchases ive made for my truck
I agree. A great upgrade
Alex at nbs dash designs did all of mine white led with blue indicators even the passenger switch and 4x4 I also did a Denali. Cluster in my 02
👍
Man I love this truck I appreciate the small and clean details you put into it
Thank you. Still more to come.
I second that she’s a Buety
Thank you
Man I really really like this build definitely motivates me to make a similar style to mine as I have the same pickup 03 nbs definitely a joy ride!
Thank you
Thanks again Travis for the opportunity 🤙
Thank you for doing it
I like the swap, that truck gets better all the time!
Thank you. More to come

I have seen that
I put an Escalade dash pod in mine. It has the trans temp gauge too. Plug and play..
They look nice
I really like your set up on that truck! Looks clean.
Thank you
That truck is so clean

Yessss green truck content !!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Yes sir
Nice video Travis on LEDs upgrade on the instrument panels and gauge cluster. Looks sharp as a pencil....
Thank you Keith
@@TWAMotorsports you did a awesome job building that green truck to your specs.. the detail work along the way shows too.. no doubt.
Thank you. It has come a long way
Looks great as usual! That is one clean engine compartment.. Travis your shop looks like a ghost town👀. ✌🏻
Thank you
Blue looks sharp. Truck had turned put super nice!
Thank you. Looks more blue on camera
@@TWAMotorsports badass truck bro! Wish you would have kept that LSA blower and cam. That would have put it over the top. But it's super nice!
That would have been fun

Yeah he is great

Yeah they are starting to come down some at least
@@TWAMotorsports They definitely are
And you got a 120 mph cluster that is also plug and play🎉
I have same cluster in my 02 silverado with a red face
Didn't even think about that
Good evening, Travis. Dam nice. 👌
Thank you James
Love that green truck man. Good solid build pretty much from The ground up lol. Keep it up browski 🤙
Thanks Mike. I just don't ever see it being finished. Lol
@@TWAMotorsports naw man. It’s about done for now. Until you wanna turbo it or put a roots style on it lol
Exactly. Never finished. Lol
I truly envy you haha, love how the green truck is coming along!
Thank you. Definitely came a long way.
this is awesome. im debating on white or a colored theme for the lighting its been the hardest decision lol wish multicolor was an option so i can switch it up
Yeah it will obviously have a blue cast to it.
You should make a playlist for just this truck
I have one I think
@@TWAMotorsports yea you do, found it thanks
Quality content as always
Thank you
Love me some street scene mirrors.
Me too
You should get 01 to 02 escalade headlight knob and hvac knobs
May do that down the road

Came from extended cab. Wasn't crazy high for all of it

Yeah will is pretty good he change my lights in my cluster
Definitely a great guy to deal with
I have a 2002 base model Silverado do you think if I get everything off a 2003 Denali if I can make everything electric?
No
Looks dope bro
Thank you
Whats up Travis, when you did the antenna delete where did you run the cable? Tks
Inside fender. Made a video on it when I did it.

Do you have a link for the wire connectors?
I will later tonight

Temp gauge does work. Just runs really cool with the auxiliary cooler I have. Takes a while to get up to temp
Really clean truck, first time seeing the engine compartment, black alternator is cool. High amp? Gotta link?

same thing as your other video
On the 99-02 it doesn't have 2 connection points. Only 03 to 07 classic

Are you a big fan of the airaid tube and what type of drop in filter do you have?
I like it. Have a green filter usa filter
Travis so is this one getting ready to be on the market? How much $$$
20k buys it
Did you delete the oil bypass valve on it?
Not sure what you are referring to
Can I put that same cluster in my 06 chevy Silverado?
Yes
The pocket is more useful so hide the switch under the dash if you don't use it every day.
Probably what I will do
Yo is that the factory air box with an aftermarket tub??
Yes
