**MAJOR DISNEY WORLD RESPONSE** 10X Reedy Creek Fire Trucks Responding To EPCOT | RCID

- While vacationing in Florida, I stopped in at Reedy Creek Fire Headquarters [Station 1] The tones went off, and the Chief and Bronto left hot towards Epcot. Every couple minutes, the tones would sound again, and many additional trucks began responding into Station 1 so they could get into Epcot through the emergency access gate. Previous to the major call, firefighters had told me the Bronto (Tower 1) is quite rare, and only responds to calls if it is serious, and will likely require an Aerial Platform. Though this major call in Epcot is unknown, it can be assumed that it was a major event, as they sent the Tower to it. Furthermore, Reedy Creek has a running order where District Chiefs are higher up then a Battalion. So for a District Chief to respond, it requires a significant event to due so. Make sure to like and subscribe for these Disney World catches!
Units Assigned To Event:
ALS Medic 100 [1], ALS Ambulance/Rescue 14 [1], District Chief 1, Tower 1, ALS Ambulance/Rescue 12 [1], Engine 41 [4], ALS Medic 400 [1], ALS Ambulance/Rescue 11 [1], Battalion 3, Mass Casualty 1 (Canceled Prior To Response)

Interesting units you caught! Sweet video
Thanks a bunch man, lots of yellow!
We have passed this station so many times while on holiday at Disney. Amazing to see the units based there
Ya it’s jam packed with rigs. Good timing for me to catch them haha
Maybe that was the day the one monorail had a flat tire and they had to evac.
Ya might have been. Whatever it was it definitely sent a lot of rigs
Reedy Creek has a truck with a 173 foot ladder. Tower 3 is a Peterbilt with a 173 ft ladder and it's an interesting rig.
Ya it was assigned to this I think
2:26 Bronto's are the main ladder truck here in New Zealand and Australia 🚒🚨🚨 🇳🇿 🇦🇺😉👍
Sweet man!
Quite rare in North America and only available from e-one and for a short time pierce. And now a small one from fort garry trucks in canada. Most brontos reside in Canada, with North Americas tallest ladder truck in Toronto.
Interesting that they have to wait for a gate to open which im sure slows down response tomes by at least a minute sometimes! Im curious to know what happens when the gate isnt working what do they do
The gate is only ever used when they need to respond into EPCOT for an emergency, so it’s rarely used. I’m not really sure how they’d get in if that gate malfunctioned though
We have many gated communities and gated occupancies in my area. The few second delay is meaningless. If the gate malfunctions, you either wait for whatever manual release mechanism exists to be activated, (sometimes available to us or anyone,) or you drive through it, circumstances depending. @CalgaryFireFilmer

Well, there’s a reason fire trucks have big, steel bumpers on the front.

Thank you!
Nice video!!
Thank you!
I really wish we knew what the call was.
Me too, musta been something cool though
I've never seen a Bronto Skylift in the states before
Not too many agencies have them
In IL there was 2 now 1 soon to be replaced Melrose pk IL has one soon will be gone then Elmwood pk ill had one been gone since 2020 and Dubuque IA has one eone bronco and a spartan bronto
Also coral gables FL has or had one
the bronto reminds of station 23s bronto
Same one. E-One Cyclone Bronto. Only difference is this one is a 2020
You Hit The Jackpot On That One
Thanks! It was unbelievable for a call like this to actually come in while I was there
They have five engines, three ladders, and a rescue. One engine company and one ladder company is a "major" response?
A major response isn’t based on how many rigs the dept has. Because of cross-staffing that call sent two full stations to it. Not to mention a handful of medic units. I’d say it constitutes a major response
No, it is not based on how many "rigs" a department has. That still does not make two companies and a handful of EMS units a major response. Hardly. @@CalgaryFireFilmer
@@johns1039 It does when your a small department with most of your calls requiring a single apparatus. In this case, both station 1 and 4 sent every firefighter from the hall. Granted that it may not be that big for a large dept, but for a smaller one like this, loosing half of your manpower to one event is pretty substantial
No matter how many "rigs" they have, one engine and one ladder is not a major response, no matter what percentage of their companies or manpower it is or how it is attempted to be aggrandized. It is just one engine and one ladder, which is a very small response and not even a full first alarm assignment. They have two more stations, and they are surrounded by larger departments with plenty of resources to call upon. One engine, one ladder, and a handful of EMS units could well have been a minor vehicle crash involving two cars packed full of future Jacoby and Meyers clients, (as happens in my response area with a major amusement park all the time.) We sent two of our three engines and our only ladder out of town for cover assignments yesterday due to large commitments of companies from those departments to large fires, leaving us one engine and one rescue. That still did not make two engines and a ladder a major response. (And, they didn't "loose" anybody, they sent units on calls which may well have still been available to be released to respond to something more emergent. But, perhaps they loosened their pants after lunch.) @@CalgaryFireFilmer
@@johns1039 Well your certainly entitled to your opinion. I have limited knowledge of the Reedy Creek FD, and wrote my title based on the conversation I had with the Station Firefighters afterwards. Based on what they said, I felt catching 2 FD units and 8 EMS units was enough to warrant a massive response title for that call. That’s my opinion
Liked and shared 👍🏻🚒
Thanks man!
@@CalgaryFireFilmer No worries mate 👍🏻

Absolutely
Ttt
They need to dump the green. Switch to red.
Haha it’s tradition for them
why? red is one of the worst color for fire apparatus. studies by nfpa, dot and osha have proven this.
@@spaghetti9845not the worst color as it’s still considered a compliment and visible standard of color on all public safety institutes across the us and Canada
red looks the same as black at night@@406fire9
Palm Beach gardens proved it they told me take a picture of a red fire truck anywhere at night and there bright green at night and it turns out red looks black at night while the bright green still looks bright green
