A lot of people don't know that Sergei had a younger brother named Marvin whom Sergei would sometimes called to come downstairs in order to play the melody in the middle of the piano when Sergei was busy at the two extremes of the keyboard.
When you started, I collapsed into coma and flatlined! Then the wholy city was at noise when I was brought to hospital! And the music played on the next day, all over the place!
Thanks, very delightful n peaceful to listen this, best elegant piano music tune,Sergei Rachmaninoff!Peace n light the mind n heart. So incredibly n intensely beautiful piece for all! Infinite love!🎹🎧
I almost skipped the (in)famous C# minor prelude that's first on this list because I've heard it to many times, but i decided to listen. I found it unpretentious and simple: no HUGE rubato sways, etc. I thought the opening bars were actually more appealing when played that way. I have read that Rach just hated this prelude because audiences always demanded it as an encore. Of course, anyone can become tired of a specific piece is played too much, but as familiar as I am with this, having played it myself in HS and occasionally ever since, I find today that it really is a great masterpiece. Then I listened tot he g sharp minor, which I've worked at myself very off and on for decades and found it too rushed and without enough breathing room between sections for my taste.
il n'y a que la Danse des Esprits Saints de l'Orphée de CW Glück et l'Air de la Wally qui soient aussi intenses en cœur et en esprit | et peut-être aussi le Duo des fleurs du Lakmé de Delibes | et... | 😆
It is a great gift to be an athlete, but it can interfere with being a musician. I have not listened to all yet, but op. 32 no. 3 is to fast, no. 4 is just plain ugly, 5 is better, 6 is back to ugly. What is the problem? A bad childhood? Come on, put fingers behind you and think.

4:04 excuse me what’s up with the f sharp minor prelude? Isn’t it supposed to be LARGO?

Opus 32 #4 is played superbly.
Always end them on a high note. Or just any if you're Rachmaninoff.
Выдающееся дарование! Откуда он?
Technically sound pianist but some beautiful moments can sound overlooked. Many passages seem too rushed. But what I would give to have his chops!!

Jedinstveno, cak uznemirujuce snazno i nezno

WHY are you so SAD?
Rachmaninov is not „play as fast as possible“ even if tech is good

Я думаю музыку надо все же слушать а не препарировать.Оставим сие неблагодарное занятие-паталогоанатомам..P.S.Для меня исполнение -убедительно.
