Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse officially connects this franchise to the MCU...but how deep do these connections go? Migel's mission to protect the web of life and destiny is very similar to Kang's mission to protect the sacred timeline. So is this a coincidence? Or is Spider-Man 2099 going to play a huge roll in Avengers: Secret Wars?

#SpiderVerse #MCU #Kang2099
So, let’s talk about how Miguel O’hara’s Spider-Man 2099 could be working for Kang the Conqueror-in tandem with the Time Variance Authority from Loki. Or maybe even the Council of Kang’s that we met in Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania. And then a little later we’re going to talk about how Kang may have killed the single most important character in all of the Spider-Verse and placed Miguel in charge.
So we knew going into Across the Spider-Verse that we’d be hearing some MCU references. [clip, little nerd on earth 199999]
But even I couldn’t have predicted we’d see THE Sacred Timeline from the Loki series and Quantumania. I mean look at this shot, they’re identical. [clip, The Office “they’re the same picture.”]
When Miguel shows Miles the multiverse, he starts by showing him “everything.” This is when we see the Sacred Timeline consisting of everything in existence. But then we go even deeper and see a more specific multiverse, the Spider-Verse. A multiverse consisting solely of universes that have Spider-People.
Now when we first saw the Sacred Timeline in Loki, it looked very different, more like a ring. A circular flow of time that had multiple timelines running parallel to one another but never converging. Timelines that happened again and again and again, the exact same way every single time.
This timeline is overseen by He Who Remains, a variant of Kang the Conqueror. A variant that won the multiversal war, destroyed all his other variants, and brought [clip, revenge of the sith “peace, justice, and security”] to the multiverse. But not without a cost.
He Who Remains utilizes the Time Variance Authority to track down and stop nexus events. Nexus events are essentially events that aren’t supposed to happen. Allowing a Nexus event to go unchecked results in a splintering timeline breaking off from the Sacred Timeline. And when that happens, the multiverse becomes bigger. More and more universes come into existence and more and more universes begin to collide, that’s known as an incursion. [clip, Mr. Fantastic explainer]
Now within the Sacred Timeline there are constants. Story points that are the same in every universe. For example, Loki’s are always destined to be the bad guy. That’s why when Slyvie, a Loki variant. When she showed heroic aspirations as a child, she was departing from her set path, her path of becoming a villain. This resulted in her being arrested by the TVA. [clip]
Now in Across the Spider-Verse we hear something very similar. Just like how Loki’s are destined to be bad and are not allowed to break from that path. Spider-People are destined to suffer great tragedies. There’s the tragedy of losing Uncle Ben, or in Miles’ case, the loss of his uncle Aaron.
These events are known as canon events. Events that keep the spider-verse connected. Events that happen to every spider-person every single time, because they have to, because they’re supposed to.
In Across the Spider-Verse we see a key canon event called ASM90. Named after The Amazing Spider-Man issue 90. The issue in which we first saw Police Captain George Stacy, father of Gwen Stacy, die. That event then continued to happen in every single spider story, the Police Captain dies in Spider-Man’s arms. An event that if disrupted could result in the fabric of reality being torn apart.
When a canon event is disrupted we see the multiversal spider-crew roll in to attempt to stop the universe from collapsing. Just like the TVA steps in to reset timelines when a nexus event occurs. [clip]
Doug: Wait, so if the TVA contains variant timelines and nexus events, then why don’t they show up when a canon event is disrupted?
That is a fantastic question buddy, and there are several possible explanations. So let’s run through them. - Фільми й анімація

The accuracy of Miguel's story is based on what Miguel told us is the truth.
I'm thinking that Miguel is a variant of Kang, and his hologram is Ms minutes 🤔
He wants them to ignore spot because he plans on collapssing the multiverse into a singular timeline again, using Spot.
He setup miles as a distraction
I think Miguel did not destroy universe, is must Vision Ultron from Marvel What If
The tree of life
@@coolblue32qMiguel O'Hara does not seek to destroy universes.
I feel like Kang is becoming your new Mephisto lol
I just entered here to say the same thing
at least we’ve seen kang multiple times
Mephisto???
@@agent8112 yea, back during WandaVision, Ryan (almost obsessively) came up with theories that the main villain would inevitably be Mephisto. That, of course, ended up not being the case lol
Don’t let Eric from new rockstars hear you say that 😅
So.. Morbius post credit scene actually makes sense now.. MCU Vulture was an anomaly, like Renaissance Vulture in Across the Spider-verse.
Yea like how all the enemies and other spider men popped up in no way home . Hence “ don’t get me started in doctor strange and the little nerd from 199999
If Kang restores the sacred timeline, we are all working for Kang
💯💯
Kant doesn’t want to restore anything he wants to conquer that’s why he who remains created the acted timeline . Two different people . Technically the same but you get me
Why didn't Earth-42 collapse the moment the spider failed to bite Prowler-Miles? That's like the single most important canon event that was avoided with no world ending consequence to that Earth. Is it possible someone like Madem Web or Kang is responsible for these collapses to manipulate others to join their cause?
thats what im saying! but because earth 42 didnt collapse im thinking that miles morales (the one we know) was destined to become spider man because kingpin and his collider happened without the influence of miles morales
@@nicholaslu7675 makes sense
I think the reason that Earth 42 didn’t collapse is because it was cut off from the Web of Life and Destiny the moment the radioactive spider was sucked through the portal. Since there’s no Spider-Man, there are no canon events.
Kang might’ve breadcrumbed Miguel into policing the multiverse but I don’t think Miguel knows Kang. Hopefully Madame Web and Spider-Man Unlimited have more prominent roles in the 3rd part.
It’s crazy to see how good the spider-verse could be when in reality they’re gonna shovel some more live-action garbage once Beyond the Spider-verse comes out
Yup, marvels gonna follow this up with a street level 1v1 battle against kingpin lmao. What a weak weak way to play an ace in the hole
Unless Kraven literally kills a Spider-Man in his movie I’m not gonna care about him lol. The Madame Web movie has better chances to build off this spider-verse hype but I don’t have any expectations
I think Madame Web is still chilling. She normally appears BEFORE things start going down. There's been times she doesn't appear during a crisis at all and when questioned she goes "I knew it would resolve itself - without my aid."
Also, I find it funny Miles' Peter Parker called his hack a "goober" and Miguel called Lyla's tech a "goober" too...
He Who Remains wants to prevent other Kang variants from being created. So he probably wouldn't care about canon events or other universes being destroyed. As long as he's preventing other Kangs from rising to power, nothing else would matter to him.
Miguel single handedly killed an entire universe by accident. He and Kang are probably some of the fewest people alive to witness such a thing so regardless of if he’s working for Kang I can easily see the experience humbling him to come to the same conclusions and actions as Kang
@Dan-ru1tf
The increase of multidimensional beings in one dimension is what caused mumbattan to slowly collapse, exactly like the first events with Gwen, Peter B Parker, and the original gang in Miles' universe. He's not selfish, he's actually quite right. He can save them, especially if he KNOWS they might die. Even Dr. Strange mentions to Tom's Spiderman how the thread of universes could collapse with so many different multiverse beings roaming on earth-1999 🙃
@Dan-ru1tf Miguel isn't the good guy when he mass murderers an entire universe and plays false God when he's just an unhinged lunatic addicted to a false algorithm. Miles didn't in any shape or form cause Spider-India's world to collapse it was the Spot setting off the collider it falling on and through the bridge where it landed creating a Blackhole. Just like Blonde Peter said was going to happen if the collider is used in the first film.
The Colliders cause Incursions (multiple realities to crash into one another and perish in the long term) when used. The Spot a Multiversal Demon that can travel time and space with a grudge against Spider-Man is who's activating them to empower himself to kill everything Miles loves...Which includes the Multiversal Variants of Spider-Man.
The Spot himself an Anomaly created by an Anomaly created by an Anomaly. As it was Peter B's idea to grab the bagel and he gave it to Miles who threw it...Which is what caused the Spot to blame Miles. Then Miles a "Cosmic Mistake that shouldn't exist anywhere" is who angered the Spot enough to Multiverse Travel. How can you in anyway believe that a chain reaction of things that shouldn't be could create an outcome that should?! That's highly illogical.
Either...
A. Miles and the Spot and Miles Prowler are canonical. That all Anomalies are in fact canonical...So Miguel's fundamentally wrong in every way about how he engages their existence.
B. They're not canonical events at all because they're caused by non-canonical actors...Meaning they don't in any shape or form need to happen. So Miles is 100% right to break it because nothing's gonna happen but him get this saving his father and defeating the bad guy actually threatening existence within his own universe...Like a hero should do like Spider-Man should always Try to do!
Further in the vision that depicts the "canon event" that kills Jeff...Also kills the Entire Spider-Society! According to them they're meant to fail and die from the Spot. Hundreds of worlds left without any Spider-People...So the Canon is inherently Evil. Maybe it's just the fact their theory is clearly wrong and their trauma is leading to more problems not less?!
You really truly don't understand the story being told if you believe Gwiles is wrong to break the canon and Miguel is in anyways meant to be right. You've fundamentally missed every single plot point and theme being told.
Technically what we see in ATSV is NOT the Sacred Timeline because the Sacred Timeline is the name for the circular ring. It's no longer the sacred timeline at the end of Loki. Still these theories are always fun.
Exactly
No it's a branch of the sacred timeline that's why it looks that way but it's part of the sacred timeline no doubt they didn't do that as a throwaway
I mean, the Sacred Timeline still exists in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Just saying.
@@retroman5432 It doesn't? It expanded into the full-on multiverse. Kang just depicted the Sacred Timeline as something he wants to create.
@@paperstacksfilms It's not a branch, the "sacred timeline" was literally the circular ring and it exploded into the multiverse.
I think multiversal travel tech already advanced in Miguel's time so that's why he was able to convert it into a watch, also all Spider-Men are usually smart. This is shown as Hobie was able to make one himself with just random parts he stole. Also the Spot before he became the Spot was already experimenting with multiversal items and other universes that take place before 2099 had their colliders.
I theorize Miguel is inadvertently causing incursions with every universe he connects with. Meaning, every single spider person that was at their headquarters and their world is at risk for being destroyed and further crippling the multiverse. Miguel will effectively be responsible for splintering nearly EVERY universe, leading directly to secret wars
Holy shit that’d be sweet
Lol cool idea that every Spider-Mans destiny is also to fuck up some multiverse shit
Beyond the SpiderVerse will show how Kang was the one that caused the destruction of Spider-Man 2099’s universe … in the MCU “beyond the spiderverse” … thus the SPIDER-VERSE will show up in SECRET WARS … the Beyonder can be introduced in Beyond the SpiderVerse, hence Beyond-er
I think he is smarter than that. I think the likely hood of an incursion happens depending on the carbon footprint of the people not in their home universe.
@@laverdadescatolica5 or they meet the grand weaver? And see the web from a 5th dimensional perspective?
Imagine watching Beyond the Spider-verse and out of the blue Miguel O'Hara says, "Somehow, Kang the Conqueror returned".
Makes you wonder how secret wars will end ,and what they're going to do after.
beyonder storyline 🫡
We don't know how big Kang is going to play in this next phase. I like leaving it into the frame of Miguel being a megalomaniac unintentionally.
Yes and no. He’s suppose to be the face of the Multiverse saga. If all is kept, he will be
The most annoying part is them announcing kang multiverse saga. This takes away all the drama and tension of the fight with the villain since we know he will just be back the next movie.
I like this theory. I had originally thought that Aunt May from Into the Spider-Verse was supposed to be kind of a parallel to madame web but she never really got into multiversal access. She had my favorite scene when she whacks Tombstone with a bat and said “I said take it outside!” lol
I don't think Kang has anything to do with miles but I think Madam web might ...
It might be more interesting to see a team up between the Prowler and miles ...
Beyond the SpiderVerse will show how Kang was the one that caused the destruction of Spider-Man 2099’s universe … in the MCU “beyond the spiderverse” … thus the SPIDER-VERSE will show up in SECRET WARS
Miles, spot, 2099 will travel to the grand weaver. And see the web from a 5th dimensional point of view.
@@ked49 Madam Web should be the film that connects the SpiderVerse to the MCU … it’s already happening they are released January and March of 2024 … gearing up for SECRET WARS …
@@laverdadescatolica5 I am aware. I’m saying it should be the actual spider because Miguel had his robot spider
@@ked49 actually, don’t be surprised if they show up in a post credit scene or a scene where Madame Web has visions of the SpiderVerse events … man this is so awesome
I can imagine Kang first act of War is against the Spiderman Society.
I want the spiderman society vs Kang council in the 3rd spiderverse film.
@yonishassan28 Imagine Kang fighting Miles, and he tells him, " You are just a kid, Alone going up against a Conqueror," and then all the spider man from the multiverse arrive (endgame style) and proclaim" He is not alone" and then a titanic struggle begins between the Spidermans and Kang varients for the fate of the Spider Universe.
Kang would win i think?
@@yonishassan28 Kang would win. I think it would also be a great way to show of how powerful he is. Since he kinda got hit butt kicked in Ant man 3
@@albertomacias7159 Would be cool. Just think if Kang killed Gwen both me and Miles would be so mad. 😅
I didn’t even think that the post credit scene was before Miguel started the spider society. That explains why he’s seemed much more lighthearted back then…
Imagine, secret wars... All the Avengers laying on the floor, helpless... then, BOOM. You hear 2099's theme. "YOU LIED." Miguel yells, as the army of spider man run toward Kang. Idk, but brain went wild.
Okat just though about it, but imagine a multiversal illuminati with 2099 leading them
what if....
SM 2099 started out working for madam web, and through her he learned of a world where his wife and child were still alive.
that's when he decided to move into that universe, but madam web tried to stop him. what if he was the one who killed her so that he could be with his family again, only to destroy that universe just like she warned him, he would. once that universe got destroyed it got the attention of the counsol of kangs. and thats when SM 2099 made a deal with them.
What other MCU connections did you find?
I think Miguel O'Hara is one of the clan of vampires that feeds on the spider man people
@@mattcliburn he is still on drugs
The reason Miguel said “that little nerd on earth 199999” is because he doesn’t know who is under the mask. The spider could be anyone like he was originally meant to be
It feels like they were heavily hinting towards Miles Morales being the inventor of The multiversal travel we see in the movies. (See the guidance scene where Miles talks about how he could help and reseachers in his world were coming close to that technology.
Also, the movie heavily hints that disruption of cannon events doesn't always destroy the universe it occurs in. Universe 42 for example exists, and when Gwen returns home she discovers her father has quit the police force and had done so months ago. This would indicate perhaps things aren't as🎉 inflexible as we are led to believe.
Each marvel project from phases 4+5 and this spiderverse movie have introduced a character who kang can’t predict. In this movie 42 miles and mayday were introduced. Mayday is included because Peter shouldn’t have had a child. And 42’s fate has changed
Could it be possible that the real reason Miguel is so hellbent against Miles is not because of protecting the Spiderverse or anything like that? Maybe he really detests Miles because he is everything Miguel couldn't be: A him from another dimension without consequences for being so. If anything, Miles has proven he can successfully break canon without causing a universe to collapse. Theoretically, Miles' existence as Spiderman could collapse everything Miguel's built & could possibly dethrone him in overseeing the Spiderverse. He might hate MCU Peter for a similar reason; he dragged all these different Spiderman characters into his universe, changed their stories, sent them back (possibly without consequences), then patched up his universe without Miguel's help.
My theory about how the next film will handle the Canon Events issue
It's already been heavily foreshadowed twice in ATS.
So the main thing is that Canon events must happen otherwise the structure of the Spiderverse will collapse and therefore erase a universe, or incursion. But with that said, we've seen "events" gotten prevented twice with the inclusion of *multiple Spider-persons* helping out. The helicopter save in Spider-Gwen's universe and holding up of a building in Mubahattan. Of course it showed that multiple Spider-People came to fix the hole that threatened to swallow up the universe. But that is the point.
What do Spiders Build? Webs...they build the web, they write the story....not the other way around. Miguel is so concerned about the shape of the web, he isn't thinking how he could build a new one, a stronger one. Obviously he cannot do it alone...he hasn't been doing it alone. But looking at how the Spider-people had helped with saving people from death in the two events, by combining the webs and building something stronger than a helicopter or a an entire science building, who's to say that they cannot use their abilities to build a stronger web for the Spiderverse? If there is a weakness in the web because of a lack of a canon event, then we just need more Spiders to build webs to hold that part together.
Good idea
It's actually more than twice if you count andrew saving tom's mj and tobey stopping tom from killing norman since they're both probably canon events, especially with mj's case.
Miguel single handedly killed an entire universe by accident so I can understand him no longer wanting to push against the boundaries of the multiverse. And I get your logic but by default you would still have to let most of the cannon events play out so the web is strong to begin with. But at that point how do you choose who gets saved? It be equal and fair if everyone had to go through it.
Wow. I love this!
I like this a lot
I love SC's deep dives into movies/shows; it's entertaining. Then there is the "make a theory out of a ton of small points" episodes, like this one, that makes me laugh. It's creative, but... come on. It's strange how similar it is to real-world conspiracy theories that people (somehow) fully believe. I guess it's all about constantly having to create content and making it entertaining.
All I want out of Miguel knowing Kang is him mentioning him and Hobie being like "the Conglomerator?"
Did Screencrush ever talk about how the opening action scene with the Vulture in this movie justifies the head-scratchng universe jump of the Vulture in the MCU to the Sony Venom/Morbiverse?
I prefer the Miguel is a 'Spider Hunting Vampire' angle.
In the Spiderverse, crossing the multiverse affects the traveler's atoms aka glitching. However in the MCU and it's multiverses this doesn't happen. They're gonna have to reconcile those differences if it directly crosses each other. Like how in the comics, infinity stones can only be used in it's respective universe and is useless everywhere else yet MCU's Endgame shows thats not the case.
The way they travel, miles only glitched once after entering through a hex portal. Forced entry causes many glitches.
The Avengers went back in time of their own universe and in doing so nothing happens to their body since they already existed there whereas Miles actually went to another universe whose history is either completely or even slightly different, or didn't have a Miles.
@@aymanriki1018 No, the moment they time traveled, those areas branched into a new universe. Hulk already explained this. It's all based on the Butterfly Effect of chaos theory. That's why there are so many Loki variants in the show Loki and a Gamora variant in the MCU. Current Gamora's alternate 2014 universe still exists without her and Thanos thus creating a branched timeline and therefore a new universe.
@@explore.chill.frankie true but they still in the same timeline/universe technically.
Since the branches don't represent other universes like earth 838 or earth 42. They represent the same universe but in a different possibility.
Just like in antmen qautmania where kang show 2 completely different timelines stacked on top of each other with each one having there own branches.
Great job at putting it all together.
Miguel mentioned miles being the original anomaly, implying that no other anomalies ever occurred had kingpin’s collider never been set off. He never went to the universe where he replace Shia dead self if kingpin hadn’t fired his collider. Had he who remains never died, the collider would never have gone off, even tho ITSV happens before Loki, we see it’s effect on the past. I think kingpins collider was what set Miguel on this path and not kang. Cuz before that he didn’t know multiverse was a thing
i think they should do what star wars did mixing their animated and live action shows/movies. that way, miguel can appear in the MCU and kang could appear in beyond spider-verse and they'll all make sense
All I’m saying is a live action Spider-Man 2099 would be dope
I truly believe some of these spider people are showing up live action in secrets wars 😊
Madam Web will definitely show up in Beyond the Spider Verse
Or the grand weaver spider
THERE ARE SO MANY SUS SCENES WITH MIGUEL.
LIKE WHEN THE SCANNER THING THAT TAKES ANOMALIES HOME WAS SCANNING HIM, HE DESTROYS IT.
WHEN GWEN ASKS, IF MIGUEL KNOWS FOR CERTAIN WHATS HAPPENS WHEN THE CANON BREAKS, HE VILLANIZES HER AND TAKES HER OUT OF THE TEAM.
Well done my dude. Great hypothesizing.
That was a good connection I like when u say Miguel basically only has jurisdiction when it’s something spider related
I feel like it is unlikely that Disney and Sony have a deal to wrap that much of each other's "properties" into each other at this point. Maybe Sony is trying to lure Disney into another deal that benefits them with these allusions...
3:38 Spectacular burn, Doug! 😂
I like this theory and hope it comes true with Sony and Marvel Studios working together even closer.
Most likely Miguel appears in Avengers Secret Wars. Oscar Isaac is already going to be on set playing Moon Knight so.
I actually thought he was the Kang of the Spiderverse.
His Spider Society behaves like a TVA.
Lyla behaves like a Miss Minutes and is orange like her.
Canon Events are Absolute Points.
Anomalies are Variants.
Ryan getting great mileage out of the Reed Incursion clip! Really blows the mind
The multiverse shots are very very similar, but def not identical. Still, greatness.
They’re identical
Man, I guess this is why Spider-people are loved by many. Just relatable. I hope they catch a break. Some fun shorts or something.
They discover in Beyond the SpiderVerse that Kang destroyed Spider-Man 2099’s universe, not Spot or Kingpin’s hydro-collider or Miles Morales being bitten by spider-42. That is why it’s called BEYOND the SpiderVerse. Kang exists beyond the SpiderVerse. Expect, a post credit scene with them showing up in the MCU in live action. This SpiderVerse trilogy is like what MCU’s What If series is … which ties to the MCU. The SpiderVerse trilogy ties into the wider Live action SpiderVerse films.
The TVA did show up in Across the Spiderverse. While not seen they pruned the timeline where the Spot caused a building to fall.
I don’t know if anyone has spoke about this but in Spider-man into the spiderverse Peter B. Parker got a glimpse of a white/silver spiderverse web during the collider fight before he dies. I think this is the orlginal web and the red one that Miguel shows is the new one he created since he destroyed the original white one.
I saw the Film theory video on this topic and he put up a really good argument
Another great video! I'd love to see Kang in one of the Spiderverse animated movies, and a live action Miguel O'Hara / Spiderman 2099 in one of the Marvel movies
Gibbs! Rule #75 you must always give Doug treats and pats on the head.
Watched it twice. Loved it twice. It’s connected to not only kang . But the whole MCU.
It's all connected ,enjoyed it
That drink you promoted is basically making me want to turn up and watch anime and superhero films , lol
I always thought that line “in the grand calculus of the multiverse..” was a cold ass line in multiverse of Madness, but rewatching far from home I didn’t realize that Dr. strange was the first to say that before
Miguel was given the time bracelet thing during the post credit scene of “Into the Spider-Verse”…he travelled to the old school Spidey and they proceeded to point at each other.
Question is…who’s the animated lady who helps Miguel…a version of Ms. Minutes?
That animated ladys name is Lyla. She's orange too which makes me also think she is Miguels Ms Minutes.
Miguel is completely wrong.
His “canon” is wrong. The two examples of universes didn’t collapse due to the actions of Spider-Man.
2099b didn’t collapse immediately after he arrived
Mumbatin was collapsing prior to miles
And universe 42 isn’t destroyed.
So canon events are actually just commonalities not actual absolute points.
And the collider is what destroyed both realities.
So his ai is evil.
So in beyond his model of the universe will collapse. And miles, him, and spot will travel to the 5th dimension and see the actual web of life and destiny. And that is what “beyond” means. It is a duel meaning.
This is very brilliant!
@@hueylongeverymanaking3399 thanks
I’m fairly certain that these are two nearly separate properties. The likely hood that their planning both in relation to one another doesn’t seem likely. I agree with Doug.
When you put it in Gibbs terms I completely understand
The Spider mans from Spider man 1 and 2 came to help stop the villains in secret. They didn’t tell peter about the spider verse team. And they didn’t have to do much after doctor strange changed everything back. They still captured their villains in their universe after the changes but the sacrifice peter faced was being forgotten. Why do you think he wasn’t in this movie ?
They literally left and so did the villains because of Dr Strange spell so that doesn't make much sense. Wouldn't make sense how MCU Peter found all the villains before they could if they could see where they were just like how Miguel knew where the Vulture was.
@@aymanriki1018 Jack.. Just because Miguel found Vulture doesn’t mean they didn’t come to stop the anomaly. Same way Gwen played dumb the entire time with Miles when she came to spy on Spot. Look at how many spider villains they already had captured. and you could clearly see the live action version playin a part in the new Spider-man across the spider verse when they where crying over the person that died in their universe. Think deeper. They fixed the problem so the Multiverse wouldn’t break so they didn’t have to get other spider people involved. Duhh. Ofc the spell sent them home, if not they would have had to call back up if things kept getting worse.. Watch the movie again bro.
I could see an allusion to Kang but not like a full on crossover.
Ryan i love you for this reach but you know this is wild
Okay but why are there barely any discussions on Hobi/Spider-punk instigating Miles' escape and developing tech of his own to travel the multiverse
Nexus: not supposed to happen.
God: Nexus, who?
😅
I love this channel so much !! 🎊 🎉😍
This makes since, Now that I think about it that Ai hologram chick that Miguel always is talking to reminds me of Miss Minutes.
Also what if that same Hologram AI chick is a younger pre-recorded variant of Madame Web that is guiding Miguel after her death.
Something that popped into my mind when you played the clip from He Who Remained talking about the first of his variants, Nathaniel Richards, to have discovered the multiverse, was that he was from the 31th century.
Miguel is Spiderman 2099.
These 2 people are basically contemporaries to each other (31th century basically meaning from the 3000's).
It wouldn't be far-fetched to believe that the 2 of them actually know each other in their own timeline ! I mean, the 2 scientists who have discovered how to access the multiverse ? Come on !
Could it be that Miguel, being the older of them 2 (he's already a full adult in 2099, while Nathaniel is suposed to be born after 3000), was Nathaniel's mentor in the secrets of the multiverse ?
Also, what if, just what if, Lyla was actually ... Madame Web ?
After all, she's the one who gave access to Miguel to the Spiderverse in the first place.
For that, Miguel O'Hara would have to live at least over 900 years.
2099 + 1 = 2100
≠ 3000
@@nikolap490 HA ! I got so carried away by my brilliant theory that I forgot about that pesky 0
Earth 1042 was disrupted by Miguel of earth 928
I think miguel is a descendant of some kang who knew everyhing about the multiverse and miguel imstantly becomes obsessed with it.
THANKS for this!!!!!
Can u explain what is origins or the radiocative spiders and why every spiderverse has their own unique spider
A good plot twist would be that Kang is disguising himself as Miguel. Would add a dark connection to the things to come to the MCU.
I wanna lean towards he makes an appearance to spot at in the post credit scene of beyond or theyll say something like miles Morales will return in avengers secret wars
Interesting how in Loki they often talk about "free will" when absolute points or canon events contradict that.
Absolute point in time = Cannon event = Inevitable intersection
Miguel is actually evil Peter Spider-Carnage from the 90's animated series finale after being lost in between the OG Spiderverse...
And also Miguel have same AI helper, as HHR's Miss Minutes !
I think uncle Aaron was supposed to be his only canon event. I have a theory that even if the spider never bit miles from 1610 and instead but miles from earth 42, he still would’ve lost his uncle from a deadly fight with Peter Parker Spider-Man (1610). This would’ve broken miles to the point where he would take up the mantle as the prowler to honor his uncle.
I had a thought the other day that he might be Kang 😊
I don't think Miguel is bad. He just can't see that Miles' canon is unlike every other spiderman canon
Is absolutely HERE for the NCIS reference XD
@ScreenCrush can you upload your podcast to UA-cam? Thanks
I still think that Spidey 2099 caused an incursion and the "breaking of canon" is a lie he made up so he can justify in his mind the murder of a whole universe. I think he WAS from that cyberpunk world you wish he was from but that universe collapsed into the one where the family man Miguel died. The only reason he can stay in the universe he's currently on is the thingymajig on his wrist. In his telling of backstory, he said he went to a universe where another him was dead. Note: Miguel from that universe is STILL dead, the canon is not broken as nothing stopped that universe's Miguel from dying.
The hole in reality in Mumbattan could be more Spot than "Canon Breaking" as Miles said.
Imagine of we see the Council of Kangs appear at the end of Beyond the Spider-Verse, 2024 will be a best year for Marvel.
I can fully say MR Fantastic’a incursion speech now thanks to ScreenCrush 😂
When i saw lyla the orange AI miguel was using i immediatly thought of ms minutes and the tva
dag he speaks so fast like the micro machines dude!! haha i had to slow it down to 0.75 speed to catch it all
I don’t wanna be true cuz I like how the story is telling … but it sound so relatable
I don’t see Spider-Man 2099 working with kang the conqueror because that wouldn’t make any sense.
I was thinking this the whole movie! Like maybe the TVA can't affect the Spiderverse, so Kang hired a spider to do his work.
"...and that's why I get paid the big bucks. Anyways Doug, were you gonna finish that whole can of Alpo? I mean it is name brand, and they are a sponsor, and I only get so many frozen meals for free..."
2:37 dude thats due to wanda nonsense
Great video
@10:49 - I have to disagree with this. My assumption is based on a scene in the movie where you see someone who looks like Madam Web in handcuffs in the back, so I think she is just restrained somehow.
"They will taint everything". Someone at Disney knows. It's lost until someone else reboots everything
I want to see that 90s Spiderman with the cosmic power thingy.
Into the Spider-Verse: villain wants to bring his family back
Across the Spider-Verse: villain(ish) learns the consequences of trying to bring his family back
Beyond the Spider-Verse: probable villain tries to bring his father back?
I kept thinking all through the movie, where is Madame Web? She is supposed to monitor the spider verse!
This is a cool theory, but I personally hope that’s not the case. The fact that the MCU exist in the multiverse is cool enough for me.
I don’t need Marvel’s phases 4/5/6 plan to drive this narrative for me personally.
