You dont use impact guns on those pullers and presses, it can damage them, everybody tryna replace hand tools with ratchets will soon realize, its better by hand, id rather not cross thread nuts and destroy everything using an impact gun, i only use them to remove bolts and nuts, never to tighten
@@VC-TV this for sure, I love the impact wrench and driver like the next guys but....when I put things back in its by hand so I dont cross thread or send it too hard...
When you punched yourself in your face I wanted to give you a dewalt or Milwaukee impact wrench to use on the ball joint press. Ain’t nobody got time to use a ratchet! lol good job keep it up.
@@victorxify1 hes referring to the press tool, you should really only use a breaker bar with the press tool to avoid damage to a ratchet or to the threads on the tool
I don’t know what kind of tools you guys are using but with grease and not being and animal on it I’ve had the same ball joint tool for like 10 years now and not stopped it yet. Buy better tools I guess if you’re worried.
Should get one of those small hydraulic press out tools for that ball joint, still have to make sure its straight but as long as you press it straight and dont let it get cockeyed it well come out smooth and easy!🤠👍 am I thinking right? You need to spend money on better tools man if you're breaking your stuff on non rusted parts. You'd be going broke working in states with salted roads.
I see cars on the side of the road this happens to and I'm always hoping it never happens to me. Glad I put an old Ford Dana 60 Kingpin axle on my 2002 Chevy, solid axle swap, when I lifted it 11 inches and put 40 inch tires on.
Reminds me what happened to a friend once: I pull up to his place and he's hollowing out a catalytic converter on a customer's car with a big hammer and chisel...he slips and mashes his hand with the hammer. Get you a good cordless impact, will save you time. I have a Milwaukee 2962-20 1/2 impact, ordered from Amazon. They’re pretty strong it loosened my axle nut when i was replacing my ball joint in my civic.
