Soft and Cheesy Ensaymada

- Ingredients
3 1/4 cups All purpose flour + 1/2 tbsp for dusting
1/2 cup White sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Instant dry yeast
1 cup Milk (Evap or Fresh milk)
3 Egg yolks
1 stick or 1/2 cup Butter, room temp
Toppings
Egg wash
1 Egg +3 tbsp Water
Grated cheese
Melted butter
Bake at preheated oven at 325°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
Buttercream
1 stick or 1/2 cup Butter, room temp
1/3 cup Milk (Evap or Fresh milk)
4 to 5 tbsp Powder sugar( Sifted)

Made this today and so yummy daw sabi ni hubby...medyo nagkamali pa ko sa measurement ng butter (200g nailagay ko) pero masarap pa rin ang kinalabasan...Thank you for sharing your recipe, I've tried a couple of ensaymada recipes pero puro failed e, but yours haha nakagawa din ako sa wakas....😘😘😘 SalaMUCH po talaga❤️❤️❤️

@@kamillemaghirang5220 Hi, I didnt use any molder since I don't have one hehe, I just used the tray that comes with my oven.
Lucky for you, I followed the recipe but it turns out to be bad and disaster. It was too sticky even i knead it properly. I added flour and bake it but it become crispy. The salt i believe is also too much
@@mariedesales6156 it turn desastet too its to sticky i knead it almost an hour huhu i dont know what happened i follow the recipe.. In the video and did not turn right

Paborito ko talaga ensaymada. Daming beses na akong palpak sa pagawa. Hahaha. pero yesterday I made a successful one pero sabi ko gagawin ko na din yung soft type of Ensaymada kaya nagreasearch ako. Try ko din adapt tips niyo po baka nagsucceed na ako sa super soft Ensaymada. Thanks po sa Tutorial.

1st try and Very satisfied. 45 mins didnt work for my dough to rise but just a tip, make it 3-4 hours rest or more and place it in a warm place. It will surely work. And in kneading i didnt have hard time because i was using plastic gloves. Very less messy and easy to knead. Thank you for this recipe!

Thank you for this recipe! I tried about 2 other recipes and yours is the best. I used a stand mixer and it took about 45 mins to get the dough to pass the window pane test 😅 I'll check out your other creations! 🙏

I try your recipe.. For 3 times.. At first naging bato,2nd try ko d pa xa soft, 3rd try ko, nakalimotan ko kasi pumunta pa ako ng supermarket. Kinabukasan ko na last super knead then bake.. Meygudnessss tears of joy talaga kasi nakuha ko na rin sa wakas..soft ad masarap, sakot lang sa braso ang supah knead. 😂 😂 😂.. Try ko sa mixer next time
. Still magpapractice pa ako. 😂. I wont give up til i reach the word "PERFECT"
Mamsh tinry ko to today. OMG panalo!!! I sweaaaaar! Super lambot!!!! Nilagyan ko ng ube super sarap! Nagadd pala ako ng 1/8 cup ng flour dahil super wet after ng butter. But turned out sooooo goooood!

Thank you for this recipe!! made this yesterday- 'twas fluffy and delicious! It was so difficult to say NO to the second piece! Just made a slight change on the toppings - used cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and some milk (to make it spreadable) and then, grated cheese on top of it. Yum!

@@rhodoraramos8054 hindi po kailangan warm ang tubig sa dry active yeast lang gamit ang warm water kasi mga dry ang yeast kaya kailangan irehydtate for it to bloom

DOUGH:
Doesn’t necessarily need to be kneaded by hand. You can use an electric stand mixer with the hook attachment. 👍🏻
CHEESE:
Homemade Filipino Ensaymada typically uses processed cheese “Eden Cheese” (popular brand name) but mild cheddar cheese also works. 🙂👍🏻
