  • Converting an Excalibur ii Metal Detector to a lighter longer and Easier Machine
This conversation is not for everyone it's just what I have done to my machine.
I made it longer for my height when using it on the beach and lighter to stop me from getting a bad back.
I also made the grip much more comfortable
    happy hunting guys

This is a awesome job. I could see myself detecting all day with that setup.

Thanks for watching. It's a very crude setup but it works and you can always improve on what I have done

Nice advice. I just purchased this machine and noticed how short it is. An upgrade is $175 US.
    Thanks!

I think you should just sell it and get ctx 3030... Half of weight, waterproof, perfectly balanced. 💯

Just buy a Manticore for shallow hunting and use the Excal for scuba.

Glad to see you posted again, was watching the cabin build and it came to an abrupt stop. Hope all ok with you?

cool but there is quite an unbalance. I prefer a behind the elbow mount. Although it also cost more.

Nice sir…I have the crutch. Question for you sir? When I go underwater my headphones come off my head. Then I can’t hear the signal for scuba diving. Any suggestions? Do you have this problem while scuba diving with the Excalibur ?

Love the videos you have put out! I’m interested in selling some scrap metal I have a couple of questions if you can answer them?
When selling did you need a licence and if so how much did you pay?
Does the scrap yard deduct tax and pay it on your behalf or did you have to pay tax on what you sold yourself?
Would like to do this properly and avoid getting in trouble so any advice would be amazing! Thanks again.
