How to metal detect using a Minelab Excalibur Part 1

This is how I search with my Minelab Excalibur II. Please let me know what you think and how you use yours. Thanks for watching. I go through and let you listen to the tones I hear and what my settings are for where I hunt. I have metal detected here for a few years and this is what I have found works the best for me. I use Stealth Beach scoops, Anderson Shafts, Gopro hero black 7, Canon G7X II and whole lot of patience. I am thinking about switching from the Excalibur to something else. What do you guys think? Garrett Sea Hunter? Infinium? What about Whites? Let me know what you think.

Do you ever have any issues with the surf or swinging in and out of shallow water causing falsing? I am trying to get mine to be a bit more stable in the salt water .

May I ask, how you strap the dector to your belt without falling ?

If you go to the website for Anderson metal detecting shaft, you will see some of their shafts come with a belt that you can mount your detector to. I like using the belt system because it takes the weight off of the shaft and my arm just makes it easier to detect longer.
