That is a good-looking setup. I went with the green over/under Anderson shaft instead of yellow for my Excal 2 only because my Dual Field is already so yellow.
I hear you that’s an older video, I had the gray ghost headphones installed on the excal. I have the excal on a carbon fiber straight shaft hip mounted now. It feels much lighter easier to swing for a longer period of time, thanks for watching

Got a question fer ya. How do you like the over/under configuration on the Xcal? Have ya tried the long shaft as well? Just got an Xcal and can't decide which way to go. I had a long shaft on my old 1000..liked it. Wondering how the over/under would compare.... Nice hunt btw.
Crusty Clad Hello I really did enjoy the over/under helped balance out the weight. Also can be converted into a hip mount with some mods. I never tried the extended shaft. Awesome purchase hope you find a ton of gold👍👍👍
The over under isn’t much of a problem, but it gets heavy after a while if on the sand. So I ordered a hip mount from Amazon and that should be in today. I just don’t like Minelab not adding a strap to the arm holder. Their response, they didn’t put one on in case you needed it off your arm fast if stuck underwater. I can’t even snorkel without the strap.
That’s a great metal detector. I have found over 500 rings in 30 years. Always had Whites and my last 3 Excalibur 2. I wonder how many rings I would of found if I only had Excalibur’s. All in the ocean. Now finding mostly tungsten steel since not many Japanese in Hawaii because of the virus. I just don’t like that arm holder with no strap. Took the thing off my Whites PI.
It’s crazy how much jewelry people wear/lose on beaches and parks. To bad about whites they made awesome machines that lasted forever. Minelab definitely runs the world with detectors, ok good luck hunting have a good day
@@JJJAMES444 I had about 10 whites PI Surf. My detectors last about a year with the amount of time I spend with them. Just waiting for the Japanese tourist to get back to Hawaii.
Hello I would definitely get an Excalibur 2. Turn on & go machine pinpoint is deep but you have to dig it all. I like to discriminate in the dry sand. In the next vid I will try and show the settings, the excal is a keeper. Alright best of luck to you.
Hi I have used the nox 800, ctx3030, and etrac.....none of them will pick up a chain either silver or gold unless they have a pendant on them, *Will the Excal*? I am thinking of the millions of chains just slopping around the beaches of the world..........,of course if you know differently or can recommend a machine that I have not tried yet?
I have an sdc2300 on the way so let’s hope I can hit the chain with a gold detector. I use to own the ATX I believe it will hit the gold chain. To be honest I’d rather dig chunky gold rings. I know there’s a ton of gold chains out there maybe one day we’ll find them.
Hello honest review about the equinox 800, awesome machine for beaches, parks, schools. The trick is to have all three coils, carbon fiber shaft, extra arm cuff. They break quite easily, the equinox scored in one year quite a bit of jewelry to buy 5 of them. I would say for the money it’s the Best Buy on the market, trust me it finds the gold no problem at good depth.

Hello I would say my favorite, is the Minelab Excalibur 2, for multifrequency. Then the whites dual field with the sensitivity mod from whites. I believe they change two resistors for more power & depth. I’m leaning towards the whites TDI Beach Hunter next . Ok best of luck to you in 2020 have a good day

LobsterClawz yea just sold it on eBay, the equinox is a great detector, but I prefer the ctx3030. All time favorite is the Minelab Etrac, & teknetics omega 8500

I owed one i hated that machine i now have an ureka gold that lot stronger and finds nuggets in the mountains and anything on the beeches strong machine that ureka gold

Our highest low tides are always a one point something which is yesterday and today actually 1.6 and 1.5
