I have a 2013, if you have kids there is no better vehicle for road trips, also if you like to do gardening and home maintenance you can put an amazing amount of stuff in the back.
biggest regret of my life is my 2018 Elite Odyssey, so much stuff don't work... did they still put the brake hold switch under the hand brake level? Which you press it wrong will just lock up your wheels as you have to press it every time after your put it in P... magic sliding seat is just cool feature to show off, barely use it, and it had a big hump on the floor, you still need to tilt the seat forward for 3rd row access (unless you are kid)... Nav and infotainment system will randomly frozen up, if you have the lucky day you just need to turn off and open the door to restart it, otherwise like me at least once a month I need disconnect the battery to reboot it, and they are genius enough to use two different sizes of bolts to for positive and negative on the battery!!!! I can make a list of stuff that went wrong longer than this video...
Wow, and I was we were special with our 2018 Pilot EX-L. 50% of the time apple carplay doesn't work and if it does it will stop on it's own, then have to restart the car to make it work. Worst infotainment system ever. Same is the deal with our Accord 2.0T but a little better.
@@henrybrar Oh that was a daily thing to me, bored to mention already, I just used bluetooth instead now, and still the car might not picked up the connection sometimes and will not auto play...
Totally agreed! Good design but bad quality. I have a 2019 EXL NAV/RES. Very buggy and many recalls! I used to have a 2004 Odyssey EX as well and retired at 156k miles. The quality is no longer the same. Honda cuts every single corner to save their money.
@@clementcheung1126 Recallssss haha, 2 years 6 recalls, I never had that many recalls of my last 5 cars, although they are all Lexus lol; watch out for jamming sliding doors :(
@@mumtazmannan6918 10-speed wasnt available until 2018. I know the 9-speed had some issues as that was a shared ZF trans if I recall correctly, but havent heard of anything with the 10.
I'm sorry Bing Yiu (commenter below) that you've had a bad experience with the Odyssey. I'm not a mini-van buyer and most of us are watching this because of the "Fancy Man." I do like the magic slide. It is good looking for a non-windowless white (silver) van. The "dusting of swagger" resembles the Mercedes V-Class. I'm still amazed of all the info he can reveal in 3.40 mins.
You were the one who turned us onto the Toyota Sienna SE which we love and I love it's 300hp engine which allows me to smoke so many cars on the road:) Can you imagine if Honda lost it's ever loving mind and made a Odyssey Type R? OMG I'd buy it asap, even if they only made 1k of them I'd still buy it. 400hp Type R Minivan with a Stick would be epic!!
I have a Nissn Quest 2008 and a brabd new 2021 Odyssey. I hate hat Nissan stopped building the Quest. What I miss is the easy large flat cargo area. The Odyssey will require help gettingvout seats
A huge shame this awesome minivan is not available in Germany😭...except for a few cars we mostly got 3 or 4-Cylinder Turbo engines in our cars, or a fat V8, but nothing juicy-reasonable plus indestructible like this V6...just sad...the Odyssey is the most beautiful minivan ever, plus so much more practical than a SUV...if I had a family this car would be my #1 pick.
It is crazy to think how big wheels and tires are becoming more common. It not a big deal until someone drives over some pot holes and when it comes to buy tires 😬
I know Honda builds good stuff... But that new KIA Sedona looks a lot more interesting than this. Honda has lost me with their design language on almost every model.
What’s the deal with all these spam accounts coming to competitor channels and talking about Kia/Hyundai? It’s everywhere, getting annoying when it’s 80% fake accounts. Feels like a weird Kia marketing tactic.
Is that a real problem in their engine? I mean, its a family vehicle that is affordable and reliable, its made for the everyday people. Not the driving enthusiast that pursue speed and performance. They do offer more choices in vehicles, if you prefer a timing chain.
That's fax. And I'm not a fan mostly of Honda always using a interference engine design. However, truth be told, I haven't had a Honda Motor fail on me EVER. I have had their trannys in the odyssey Circa 2002 fail before
they somehow made the front look older, like toyota sienna older (not good) also, without stow and go something that everyone else is either doing or going to do, you lose a LOT of cargo space. 2021 looks like a 3 horse race from Chrysler, KIA, and Toyota.

Pretty much just the Toyota Sienna and the Kia Sedona. Chrysler also has the Voyager, but who buys Chryslers junk. When you think about it, there aren’t that many minivan companies anymore.
It sucks that we have almost no choices for minivans. Kia with their new Sedona is really making me want one and I don't even drive yet or have kids. Maybe for my friends when we go on a road trip. For adventures, minivans are unbeatable.
Just a saw videos of the new Kia Sedona and it’s going to take over the mini van market. Looks way better and less mini van and has a beautiful interior
Honda still using timing belt while Toyota is using timing chain. Honda still using fluid filled power steering while Toyota is using electric steering. Honda is still stuck with basic gas engine while Toyota is now into Hybrid. Honda why are you behind with technology?
Honda continues to put piano gloss black trim on places where you touch controls. The van constantly shows every fingerprint and piece of dust. Stupid design. Also the electronics are a constant problem with this Honda and it makes most Top 10 lists of vehicles with reliability issues.
Toyota has failed to impress with new Highlander and Sienna. Let's see if the next redesigned Pilot and Odyssey can stop Kia to eat the competitors for lunch in the minivan and 3 row SUV markets.
I like the new front end, but I wish Honda changed the tail lights (never been a fan of those tail lights). They've been getting lazy with the rears, which makes me nervous if the 2021 Accord is gonna keep those same ugly tail lights
Why so many videos about the Honda Odyssey? It’s more of the same thing again and again, I’m sure that you aren’t going to review the 2015-2020 Cadillac Escalade because you don’t like it and all at KBB are Honda fanboys
@UCD2su4DpeefPjnA9OxY3ZmQ Oh yeah? And if it’s because of that, why they review Teslas,Mercedes,Lincolns,Aston Martins and a bunch of 70K+ cars? and they can’t review a borrowed from someone 75k Cadillac Escalade? what a shame
Meh nothing mind-blowing here quite frankly. However, it does look like it could a family that includes a mom that never lost the weight she gained while she was pregnant.

KBB sure does love Honda. They felt the need to share that the odyssey now comes with bag hooks. That’s been a thing for decades on other minivans.
The Kia Soul that was next to the Honda Odyssey reminds me of where I am and where I want to be
Nothing quite like the satisfaction of bringing a vehicle to a smooth jerk free stop.
Will the 11 seat Kia be in USA
No way. Given most Americans' bodies, an 11 seat configuration won't ever make it here.
