* A male got into a domestic violence incident with his girlfriend where he tried breaking into the residence
* Police responded and the suspect fired at least 1 shot before taking off in a black Chevy Camaro
* It is not believed that any officers fired their weapons
* Police initiated a pursuit, which did circles around the neighborhood, going up and down Market Street several times
* The suspect stopped in front of the home in the 600 block of Quail Street, and once surrounded by police, fired 1 shot, which also blew out the drivers-side window
* Police threw 2 rocks at the window/door to break the rest of the glass so they could get a better look inside
* Police then fired pepperball rounds, still with no movement from the suspect inside
* Police then deployed a K9, which seemed uninterested in the suspect
* Police removed the suspect from the vehicle and initiated CPR
* Medics arrived and took over life saving measures, but the male was pronounced at the scene
* Quail St was closed between Market Street and F Street
