Snakes are amazing predators. Venomous snakes use different hunt techniques than non-venomous species. Living Zoology films snakes since 2015 and we have been lucky to witness several amazing scenes where snakes hunted their prey. This video guides you through all snake hunt scenes, from pit viper killing a gecko in Indonesia (Komodo national park), to Grass snake eating a Marsh frog alive, white Speckled rattlesnake killing a kangaroo rat, Dice snakes hunting fish, King cobra fighting a Spectacled cobra and Gaboon viper hunting rats. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
We dont deserve this level of quality... I can't believe it took me this long to find this channel! I will be watching all your movies
Thank you so much!!! We will be happy if you watch more videos on our channel 🙂🙏❤️
Honestly this deserves some sort of film award, the quality is fantastic and as a snake lover i could of watched a hour and not get bored, btw what a gaboon viper
Thank you so much!!! We really appreciate your support!
I agree. I watch a ton of herping videos and this is easily one of the best. Very professional. And I love the natural auditory capture. Also, I love how you don't over-produce it.
@@Maxbps88 This is great to read and makes us very happy :) Thank you so much!!!
Gaboon viper is the largest venomous snake in the world. very large compared to other venomous snakes. but not the longest.
@@shortsyt8932 Definitely not longest, maybe the heaviest.
What a GREAT production. You guys really did an INCREDIBLE job filming these reptiles in their actual habitat! Awesome!!!!
Thank you so much!!! ❤️🙏
no need for annoying music or over-dramatic voices. perfect viewing guys. keep up the excellent work.
Thank you so much!!!

Honestly, I am super afraid of snakes but how you filmed this really made me like and respect them almost as much as when I was a young teen again. This is simply amazing!!!
Wow, that is so great! We want to achieve exactly this, to make even people who are afraid of snakes start to think differently about them :)
I really appreciate the effort and patience you guys have shown at filming such rare scenarios across the globe... Exceptional shots! I have subscribed to your channel.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for subscribing!
3:11 Frog: Hey, let go of my leg
Snake:
3:55 Snake: Frog legs are good.
Frog: Okay, I've lost a leg, I can still manage. Let go!
4:02 -4:11Frog: Help!
4:12 -4:32 Frog: HELP (sense of urgency
4:33 Frog: Well, crap. Today is not going according to plan.
4:36 Frog: Goodbye, cruel world!
Snake: Good to the last hop.
I just can't get over how beautiful pit vipers are.
Yes, they are amazing!
Bro that frog 🐸 kill was horrifying 🤦🏾♂️💀
Traumatized
That is nature sometimes!
Bravo!!!! You guys are the best, top notch. No sound effects, no setting up prey for snakes, you guys just let nature go do it's thing. I have to say that even though the Gabon viper may have the longest fangs,I have to admit for myself it is the most beautiful patterned venomous snake (The San Francsico garter snake near my city is the most beautiful colored snake in my opinion as well). Lastly I observed like many viewers that these snakes hanging upside down swallowing large meals or swimming with a mouthful of live fish underwater that's not only remarkable the way nature finds ways to adapt like that but also remarkable in how you capture these videos.
Thank you so much!!! We put lot of time and effort into making our videos. Sometimes we get lucky 🙂
And we agree that Gaboon viper is especially beautiful!
I will be 70 years old in a few days. I was collecting Reptiles from all over the United States back when a collector could legally keep his catches. I truly miss those exiting days. We were among the first to breed some of the now protected species. Also the first to try different medications to treat all sorts of Reptile ailments. It was so exciting to be a part of this as there wasn't much information available back then. Those were the good old days. Love your work.
Thank you very much for watching!
No cringey music in the background, Just natures noises 👍🏼 Perfect!
Thank you very much!!! Happy that you enjoyed watching!
Knowing how rare such encounters are, I salute you all for taking the time to film these amazing encounters. I suppose you spent many long hours (days perhaps) waiting for action. Very well done, and thank you for sharing this with us.
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, we are spending huge amount of time in the field and we try to capture these special moments!
Great work, I can't imagine how long it takes sitting and waiting patiently to get this footage. Amazing job -- thanks so much!
Thank you for watching! We are happy that sometimes we get lucky to film such scenes! We love to spend time in snake habitat.
Seems kind of setup to me
@@terrelldennis9673 That is sad to hear.
@@LivingZoology Amazing. I love snakes :D
White specks have to be in the top 5 most beautiful snakes ever. I talked to a lady on a snake forum who said she took a picture of a white speckled rattlesnake to a DIY home depot or similar place, and told them she wanted granite counter tops that looked exactly like the white speckled rattlesnake's pattern. 😃 Excellent idea 💚
Superb documentary! Not only excellent footage but no annoying music or sound effects. Not even a narrator, just the sounds of insects, birds and gurgling streams as it unfolds. Really makes me feel like I'm there. I've always loved documentaries; History, science and especially nature. I always loved subdued Attenborough type narration but even I didn't realize how annoyed I was becoming by all the Steve Irwin wannabes that try to be more of the show than the subject they're supposedly trying to show us. Absolute excellence guys!
Thank you very much for your nice comment!! We really appreciate that you like our style of videos :) We agree with you - we not fans of documentaries where people speak about an animal and handling it in the same time, we only use that footage as a part of the story to show the location or behind the scenes, but not as main focus. We prefer animals to be the main stars and nature telling the story itself.
No narration, no music, no sound effects other than Nature itself...well done.
Thank you!!! We are happy that you like the video as it is!
Outstanding bro , my favorite was king cobra 🐍❤
Thank you, filming a King on the hunt was extremely exciting!
Kill all snakes I hate them
Whom ever was on the camera, needs a raise. Fantastic video and clear as well.
Thank you very much! 🙏🙂
it made me laugh when the fish was flopping in the Dice snakes mouth and also when it carried it away haha. This video was so insightful.
Thank you very much!!! Yes, those situations were really funny! Dice snakes got some luck there! But we saw them many times miss or let the fish go, they are a bit clumsy :D
I rarely comment on youtube videos, but I just had to on this one. This video is absolutely incredible. Most of the stuff you see on youtube is clickbait or low quality, but from the very beginning of this video, I was blown away with the vivid colors and clarity...not to mention the actual video content. You delivered on this one! Two thumbs WAY UP! ...And subbed..

Absolutely fantastic!!! The dice fish are amazing, just amazing!!!
Thank you! Great that you love our video!
This is some of the best snake footage I have ever seen.
Thank you very much! :)
Thanks for this beautiful video. So many just kill snakes because they don’t understand them or know what they do for the ecosystem. I started watching Dingo Dinkleman, Venomman20, go heeling, Snake Discovery.....etc.... I’ve learned so much and why they r so important to the environment. So many don’t respect them or even try to understand them.
And guess what?? I’m now the proud owner of a western hog nose snake. I named him Dingo. (Dingo Loved that I did that. ) little Dingo just ate his third frozen thawed mouse since I’ve had him. Didn’t even have to scent them with a toad or frog.
Being educated is the Key.
Thanks for all u all do to help bring awareness of nature. Stay safe.
Thank you so much for this comment! It is awesome that you watch all possible educative channel about snakes! Thank you more for coming to our channel as well! As you say, education is so important. Stay safe too!

Thank you so much!!! We hope you will enjoy our future videos and greetings from Kenya!
"Eating a big fish takes about an hour"! It takes me longer than that just to catch one!🤣
Haha, catching is usually more difficult than eating! 😀 Those snakes try to catch fish for hours too!
Wow what an amazing video. No explanation no background music and a perfect creation. Love you guys
Thank you very very much!!! 🙂
This was awesome yesterday I missed up this video, but today I have watched it with my family, it's really interesting for us to see a Gaboon viper from Uganda in our village, so we are really excited after watched this video and nice job you are doing in Kenya so keep me updated to see some interesting animals from Kenya.
Thank you Alfa!!
Your masters when it comes to filiming
Thank you very much!
Such a beauty. I first saw a snake at age 5 living in Virginia on a farm property. It was a non-poisonous Indigo snake. I rode over it with my tricycle. Marveled at the "black oil" that came out of its mouth. I later learned it was its tongue. So glad I didn't harm it. My first pet snake was a Constrictor constrictor. (standard Boa Constrictor). Scared Mom to death so I had to let it go.
Thank you very much for watching! Cool that you were interested in snakes since you were young!
Amazing video! Thanks guys.

I love snakes but also love their prey. The frog one was hard to watch being eaten alive.
Yes, filming nature brings sometimes situations which are difficult to watch.
Snakes have to eat too, but it's hard not to feel bad for the frog.
@@Rob_Thorsman As you say, food chain works in a way that there are predators and prey.
The gaboon viper is the master of camouflage... amazing
Their camouflage is awesome, they almost disappear.

The Gaboon viper has surely the most magnificent colours and patterns of any snake. It’s head is incredibly intimidating, so much danger and awesome speed of strike.
