I have always been terrified of snakes, small and large and have had many close encounters while living in Guyana. However, I decided to watch this
documentary to learn about how researchers & scientists go about looking for these reptiles. I feel scared for them because the waters in Guyana
have many dangerous species below and on land. For example, the electric eel, these kill many divers and can live in fairly shallow waters.
There are also the piranhas, besides the caimans, black caimans, monster snakes, poisonous vipers, there are many trees and flowers that secrete
toxins. Knowledge is power and once again, thank you for this educational documentary. This is what should be shared in schools. It is great
that the indigenous peoples know how to be safe. I would like to do something to help protect them and wish that there were more funding for
these people who are brave and relentless on their projects. 🥰

@@antoniotula262 You are right, mostly marsh lands, jungles etc. England can easily fit into Guyana. It costs money to develop areas that can benefit the peoples living in those regions so I am happy to learn that some exposure is given to the land, animals and people. With Eco-tourism, hopefully it can further develop more areas.

I have seen anacondas in its habitat, the thickest i have seen was a think as a 20 litre bucket which we threw next to her. We didn't bother her further, not that adventurous, then again I was very much younger and didn't have the knowledge that I have now, and was more fearful than cautious from all the stories I heard growing up.

It's reassuring to see native just casually fishing and hunting topless in predators infested place

My friend who is from Guyana and has her large family still live there. I do not think I will go there to visit. I have never been a fan of snakes much less this giant snake. I have only seen the film about it.😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮

My grandfather reported to his children one hundred years ago that he encountered an anaconda on one of his jungle trips as a prospecter for gold and diamonds that was the size of a large tree trunk big enough for someone to sit on. One of his men did so by mistake.
