Alien (1979), Ridley Scott's masterpiece, is an extremely interesting and fascinating film. The film and its plot have a background story that is much broader than the final film presents.
In this video series, we go through the entire story and plot of the movie Alien scene by scene. At the same time, the film's mysteries, backgrounds and explanations for some of the film's discontinuities are revealed.
The video also reveals what content the 4-hour workprint of the movie Alien probably contained.

I have a suspicion that there is at least another 30 minutes to this film that nobody has ever seen on the big screen and that besides the directors cut.

There is at least a 4-hour long workprint of the film, so there is a LOT of material that hasn't been leaked to the public.

Love the visualisation of the deleted airlock scene, that was really impressive. I always felt like there is a whole section missing between the 'Ripley takes charge' scene and where she was in MOTHER, and the mystery of her random nosebleeding. Although had they included it in the film, it probably would have ruined the later reveal of the creature during Parker and Lambert's death. So it's quite a dilemma whether this sequence should have been in the film at all. It's still crazy how much of the film's footage remains unseen. Also Lambert's actress did a phenomenal job portraying the panic and stress.

I believe that Lambert supposedly had a sex change 🙄,, but only in James Camermoron's little woke aliens mind.
Lambert was is and will always be a female no matter how much these revisionist morons try,, end of.

When recording the video, the intention was to refer to "she", but since Lambert's character is transgender, "he" slips out.

@@allsortofmovies I understand. I have heard about that theory, but never really put much consideration towards it. To me, Lambert is the key to the whole film. The actors ability to convey the absolute terror in every scene is what the audience is really relating to. There hasn't been a Lambert type in any other Alien movie and I think that's what's missing: someone acting truly horrified by what they are witnessing.

That is simply Cameron and his woke text introduced in Aliens.
For me Cameron was the start of the downfall of the Alien franchise, he undermined everything good about Alien, he stripped away the mystery and turned it all into an unrealistic cheap lookin 80's action film.
Proven by how dreadful Aliens looks on 4K compared to Alien.
Cameron was a hack, a manager of assets, he wouldn't know real art if tried.
To Cameron it's about time and profit,, nothing more.

@@user-le4sm4wd1e The source of the information about Lambert's transgenderism in the movie Aliens is not known for sure. It is most likely created by Gale Anne Hurd.
There is no definitive answer to the question of whether Lambert was transgender in the original Alien movie. If I had to guess, the answer is "no", because transgenderism was not that common in the late 1970s.
On this subject, Ridley Scott, in an interview in 1992, vaguely replied that the context of the characters tells everything about them. Everyone can interpret this in their own way.
Dan O’Bannon wrote the script to be gender neutral and in the end, Lambert's sexuality/gender is irrelevant to the film.
Cameron's Aliens movie can have many opinions, as with all Alien franchise movies. However, the fact is that Lambert's transgenderism has been presented and that fact lives in the Alien film world right now.
