Found your channel a couple of months ago and it's a constant go to for me. ALIEN is a top 10 all timer for me. Dragged me Mom to see it in 79 when I was 12. A lot of fond memories from that day. It was the scariest movie I had ever seen and freaked both of us out. Thanks for the Complete and Restored series on ALIEN as well as this Missing scenes series. I thought I had seen pretty much everything about ALIEN but consistently u have stuff that is brand new to me. Thanks for your extensive work on my beloved ALIEN.

The thing would overwhelm any lifeform it came up against, including alien.

It would be better to make a movie and find out who left this Juggernaunt abandoned there full of eggs and also find out what happened to this Engineer. They make a lot of movies with side stories and forget the main thing.

The longer chest burster scene makes more sense to me. I always thought it was weird how Kane went from very few symptoms, for example, he felt no movement that he mentioned to full on throwing himself on top of the table and an alien bursting from his chest.

So, if they had left in the scene discussing escaping through the tunnel (connected to the generator room,) that would have been the means of survival if the Thing (the birthing dog) had gotten out. Or Knarls was infected! And left the generator room either before or after the explosion.

That ending is the best part of the 2011 movie. The rest of it is mediocre.

I’ve seen this movie at least a dozen times and I’m still not burned out on it yet. Imo, it’s definitely John Carpenter’s best film. Great cast, great cinematography and great music. Plus a very bleak ending that perfectly caps things off. In Space, no one can hear you scream. But in Antarctica, no one will come to your aid.

I think all of the haters secretly love what they’re seeing. Why else would you watch UA-cam videos on a movie you don’t like 😂 movie looks great to me.

While I think the movie was almost perfectly cut, I am glad we have the cut scenes. They're very interesting!

Wow. The final cut, that I have seen at least 50 times over the years, including around 10 times when it originally played in the theaters, was peak perfection. Thank goodness these scenes were left on the cutting room floor. Some of them are interesting but, would have seriously detracted from the movie had they been left in.

The conversation with Shaw and Holloway I truly believe could have benefited the final cut. It gives the relationship so much more context and nuance. And the way they discuss the crazy shit they've already seen haha

According to newly released rumours,the story starts with a spaceship discovering the remains of the first xenomorph from the alien movie inside somekind of capsule.They bring it to the nearest spacestation and extract it for eggs which creates the facehuggers.Then the whole spacestation gets infected and all the humans dies,and leaves a big xenomorph hive behind. When contact is lost with the other spacestations.A spaceship is sendt to investigate. Then a battle breaks out,and only one off the investigators manage to escape. Or did she? In the end we see that she also is infected and she sets the escapepod to self construct,but before that happens,the escape pod lands on a unknown planet with small humanlike beings,but with grey skin. And that makes a cliffhanger for a follow-up movie ?

The 'chest-burster' scene is more gory / better done than the released version.

If these morons was the best people picked to go on this mission, I'd hate to see the ones that failed?

When this film first came out it created an absolute sensation. 54 years later, any new viewer will understand. It was perfect in every possible way.

Alien has been my favourite film since I was 6, and I've seen it over 200 times. I've never been so hungry to see these other versions.
