I’m 20 now I remember watching these vids in elementary school, applying it in middle school and now in college still getting better with all of this.. Kobe is my game rip my hero🐍
Johnny Hoops me too bro I’m 20 now and I remember studying his game highlights when I was 9 years old, he’s definitely one of the reasons why I love and play the game of basketball ❤️🏀 R.I.P. Kobe 😔🤦🏾♂️
When he said sometimes He just fades in the opposite direction of the opposition I knew that’s just his thing, it’s easy to explain but hard as hell to do in the moment with accuracy. You can practice for a lifetime and never get that shot right lol, Mamba forever.
This video showcases how tough Kobe's post Achilles years were. All his moves require so much legs for his jumpers. This simply was why he wasn't the same player after the injury. Love the Mamba!
i would always try to replicate his pull up from the side and fade but its sooo hard man. i dont have the legs for it. not enough separation or too flat of an arch. the legs are so important, you're right.
Sad to hear of his passing. I really admire you my man Kobe Bryant. You were my Idol when i was growing up as well Michael Jordan. I’m so gutted man. It hurts more than a break up. I hope u rest in peace together with your daughter Gigi. And also to the passengers and pilot rip. You’re legacy will continue. You’ll never be forgotten.
hakeem olajuwon BEST ROCKET Okay, by that logic they’re David Thompson’s. Then Big O’s, then Mikans, Gervins, and Wilts. Stop acting like MJ created every move. Besides, Hakeem did a lot more for Kobe’s game. I’d give him a lot of credit for Kobe’s post play. But keep being ignorant like MJ created basketball, life, everything. MJ used those moves to the best. But he didn’t create them as they were already around. I’d expect a Hakeem fan to know how much Kobe learned from him.
I love how the midrange jumpers are the most efficient and clutch shots in basketball. My goal is mastering the midrange moves so I can score anywhere on the court like Kobe Bryant!!!
I tried all of these at the gym. Result: Learned that it’s easier said than done! He was exceptionally fluid and his offensive skills were limitless. Now he is giving pointers in heaven. RIP.
I just made my high school basketball because this man and his moves, he was my hero and the reason I started playing basketball, thank you Kobe I love and I miss you💜💛
10 years ago I watched Kobe Bryant, signature moves before my basketball game. I followed KB advices and I did a KB signature move. It was like I expected the shoot was so clean
Kobe didn't mind sharing thought process and moves cause everybody already knew. He just worked at difficult stuff enough that he could do it anyway. Whenever I am at the rec or a park and i get a few buckets in a row off some fadeaways or such. I thank Kobe for that stuff showing hard work and practicing uncomfortable shots is still part of good ball.
Kobe is the Greatest Of All Time. I have been learning basketball for about a year now. If you play the game, you know how much knowledge and details are in this video.
This has to be one of the best videos about fundamentals. There is another video where Michael Jordan is coaching, but it's a bit older, and doesn't go into the variations of triple threat with the same depth. You should still watch both, just to get an idea how they were thinking about offense.
It's crazy he mentions that he's comfortable with the backboard. I'm sure we've seen tons of bank shots by him but he had everything in his bag that he could use at any given moment. Still so tragic we lost him
Reminds me of his foul line, pump-fake-pivot shot against the Knicks in 09 or '10 or whenever it was. Thing of beauty; no brute force---he didn't have LeBron's incredible strength; no out-jumping or out-sizing his opponent---he never had Durant's length; no out-running anyone---he never had Iverson's or Rose's speed; just a mastery of the fundamentals. Just straight-up talent and artistry.
He always do whatever it takes to win games, whether it's sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot🔥🔥🔥
RIP Legend. Crazy thing 'bout all this is that even if a defender knows exactly how Kobe is doing it, he still won't be able to guard him. Kobe has mastered all these moves and he does it almost flawlessly that the defender is either off-balanced or cannot react in time to counter it.
Doing all these moves at the gym today in memory of the 🐐 Kobe Bryant

Its 2023 now and I’m watching the mamba moves , big fan here .R.I.P Kobe 👊🏽😎🇵🇭
