I grew up a MJ fan, and Kobe is the closest thing I ever saw to Jordan on the court. However, OFF THE COURT, this is where it hurts me to see him leave. His mentality OFF THE COURT was top notch. His accolades on the court were just the tip of the iceberg. He would have been an amazing teacher. Six months before his transition, I was just roaming UA-cam, watching motivational videos and stumbled on Kobe's motivational videos. They were super thought provoking to the point that I had to pause the video to process the information for a bit. He was special, and his transition hit me like I knew him or something. The only other person that hit me like that was Michael Jackson. Rest in Power Legend.

Usually get hyped whenever I've watched Kobe hit a buzzer beater in the past. But this one, this one was different. At first, I was overwhelmed with joy. Of course my favorite player wins the game after such a controlled, calm, beautiful performance! Of course he did it against two NBA players in their prime. But then the grief, the pain, my hero died too young. When everyone ran to the court, all I could feel was grief. We love you and we miss you Kobe. My life hasn't been the same without you.
I was thinking literally that same thing the other day. I'll go a step further.... If fucking China would have just been honest about everything Kobe would still be here

Thanks for the upload. Salute. Kobe was my dude. Just something special about him. He truly loved the game and everything that came with it. He was for the people. When the fans rushed the court, that was on some Ali shit. Not many of his status would have played in this game. He had 5 rings legend future hall of famer. His competitiveness was always there and i know going against the young harden and derozen he had to let them know he could still ball. But it was even bigger than that. The way he talked and shook hands during the game was incredible. None of the other players did that. Just like when he played at the rucker. He was always accessible unlike some other players no need to mention names lol RIP to the MAMBA the LEGEND and arguably the greatest basketball player to ever step on the court whether the NBA or the hood court down the street. *"The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do."*
This video is a perfect depiction of Kobe Bryant and why everybody loved him.
I love how Kobe showed the same love to everybody in the court and the same competition.
His fade-away 2 pointer is 100% accurate every time 🤣 RIP KOBE
oh yeah... he modeled it after Jordan's. Nobody will be like Kobe and Jordan. The two greatest of all-time.

Watching this today on Father's Day gave me goosebumps. How does someone you've never met bring you to tears....wow!!
YES! I feel the same way.
I remember saying "Kobe Bryant" shooting ball in PE
Chavoun Maybell brother was loved! ❤️✊🏿
Cause it could easily been anyone of us..
@@joshpate1214 it's "kobe!"...what school did you go to wtf?
Just a pure legend. He’s hitting game winners in every circuit, court and levels. Amazing.
I’ve watched this Game so many times over the years and I still get excited when Kobe hits the Game Winner.
STAK ya
Kobe looked so happy to be out there man, just hopping doing what he loves. RIP Mamba.
Seeing this video, Kobe got his roses while he was here. No hate much love and he cared about the everyday person. He use his platform very well. RIH KB & GB
Not like they gave Jordan and after all he did he deserved it
When he walks into the gym and even the ball wants to shake Kobe’s hand 😂
Legendary 🐏🙌🏽💯
Harden. DeRozan. Some all time great NBA scorers. ...When you think you're going to be The Guy in the gym that day. Then your mean uncle shows up right before tipoff. ...Ah Sh!t. Here we go.
Those people will past this moment on forever😥 and I still can't believe that I'm typing R.I.P KB
Same here, it's crazy!!
believe it
You thought he was gonna live forever?
He means it’s too fast to say that word bro
Nowitzki fade away aaall night. I love how kobe interacted with everyone
@John Shaft Dirk being 7 feet tall helped a lot with making the fadeaway unblockable.
John Shaft Luka has a great fade away in his game. He’s a complete player
Nowitzki? Smh that’s the Goats only fade away... Exclusive to MJ & KB
smile cute Oscar couldn’t do a single athletic thing that MJ could. You’re reaching kid. DrJ of course.
The fade away was a move that the Dream(Hakeem) Patented and Kobe was the first player to go to him for lessons on how to perfect his post footwork.
Then LBJ, Howard, MELO and a host of others sought the Dream for lessons.
@smile cute real Talk.
I saw Kobe right after his retirement when he went here to the Philippines. Me and my friend were about a section below the general admission area so we only got to see him from far away but shit man the moment he went went out on stage i cried like a bitch cause i got to see my hero in real life 😂. I'll treasure that day for the rest of my life. We miss you Bean ❤️🙏😔
Gonna keep the likes at 24 ✊🏾
Aweee
Worship none.
For you, that was the day the great Kobe Bryant graced you with his presence... But for him, it was Tuesday.
This is legendary. James Harden has this story to tell. Great matchup.
watching it now , just AMAZING , PRIME hARDEN AND kOBE GOING AT IT
I still can’t believe Kobe is gone. I can feel the anxiety attacking again.
I love coming back to this every so often and looking at another fans face during his final shot; just seeing how happy he made everyone makes me miss him a little bit more :(
damn me too 🥹
I grew up a MJ fan, and Kobe is the closest thing I ever saw to Jordan on the court.
Bro what you said is Legendary and true if I ever talk or see you again I put you have my upmost respect ✊
Wow..... you took the words out of my heart....... RIP Kobe...Michael Jackson
What y'all said + Prince. The Satanic WishJews(Mossad) killed all of those great Black men and MANY more. When y'all finally understand the truth of what I say years from now, I want you to remember that I told you. www.conspirazzi.com/e-books/hitchcock-synagogue-satan.pdf
I'm so glad this popped up on my recommended. I remember this so well, it got a ton of hype in LA at the time, and has kinda been forgotten as one of the special moments within his legacy. Thank you so much for posting it!
i think this is the first time i see Kobe passing and Harden playing defense. Jokes aside, man i miss Kobe
hahaha
Lmao
i feel you but you can't win chips being selfish and that's a fact. also average 5 assists for his career ...
Yet Kobe has the most assist in NBA History at his position (SG)... Boy bye 🥱
• Kobe # of assists made: *6,306*
• average per game: *4.7*
• NBA all time ranking in assists: *30*
• Clearly if you rank 30th on the all-time list you are better than average. Look at the top 30 and what you see is the following
28 were point guards
1 small forward (can you guess who?)
1 combo shooting/point guard
*Kobe* was the only *pure Shooting Guard*
The day Kobe came to the LA Hood. Legends never died homie.
"Black Mamba" to the Max!!! Closest thing I ever saw to "His Airness" (GOAT). ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Damn I miss Kobe so much he was so great for the game his presence was felt every time and best father your could ask for we lost a great human
Seeing how great harden is n jus knowing Kobe would still have the last laugh man Kobe has always been clutch. He loved those moments thrived in them great to watch this n see Kobe having fun but when it’s crunch time he’s ready to kill.
The end of this video is absolutely beautiful. It epitomizes what Kobe Bryant meant to communities across the country.
I remember watching this before. This was so great and it shows truly how Kobe was. RIP
Hell of a game. What a memory for everyone in attendance & the players that got to participate in the game.
Same man..same
I just hope covid19 happened early. So kobe would just stay home.
Damn its true
I have mixed feelings about that statement tbh. But yes I do feel that.
I was thinking literally that same thing the other day. I'll go a step further.... If fucking China would have just been honest about everything Kobe would still be here
@@literallynothing8934 what are you having mixed feelings about nothing wrong with that statement, stop looking to be offended.
Damo. At iba pa shut ur face, cockhead. Better wish neither happened
Wow, i miss seeing this guy play! Definitely one of the world’s best! R.I.P Kobe! We miss ya, man!
Kobe always came to play no matter if he was making 400k a game or putting on a show for the fans, whether it was streetball at the EBC or Exhibition at the Drew League. RIP Mamba.
I come to watch this highlight once a year. Chills everytime he hits the game winner. Life ain’t fair, they robbed me of my idol …
I miss this guy, I grown idolizing him on the court. My forever idol Kobe Bryant

I love how he played his teammate with a quick 1on1 during warmups.
The mamba. Dude brought happiness through the game everywhere he went. Must have been amazing witnessing Kobe sink a buzzer beater especially for the kids that couldn't get to NBA games 🥹🥹🥹🤭

Never thought I'd be alive without Kobe Bryant still here doing his thing sad he's not around anymore what a legendary human being
Thank you for this Video. It's an Amazing example of him loving his community and his community loving him. RIP Black Mamba
He really loved southern cali, he was always so great to everybody down here and wasn't a prick he stopped to talk and give autographs to people. He actually had regular life conversations with people that's how hard it was when he died, and why we always said we lost a family member because the way he interacted with the people of southern California specially Los Angeles. I know covid 19 is here but inside we still hurting that he isn't here and won't here his hall of fame speech.
He gave out his shoes at the end of the game 😭 RIP KOBE 😭
how mich they worth now?
There will never be another player like him...... RIP Kobe 🙏🏾✊🏾🙏🏾
The crowd knew, the opposition knew... but it still couldn't be stopped. Legend!!
Everytime I see or listen to Kobe interviews I swear it feels like he is still alive! Like his spirit is still living on.

Remark played like this when he was younger look at McDonald’s high school all star game with him and Brandon Jennings and a few other nba players
This video made me smile throughout the end. We miss you Kobe and Gigi. Life ain't fair
His dedication to the game and determination to WIN was crazy. So many stories about his work ethic and go hard mentality just proves how great he was.
kobe my fav player to watch play ever. i'll tell my grand kids about him if i ever have some
THE MAN WHO INSPIRED ME TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND TAUGHT ME NOT TO BE SOFT WHEN LIFE THROWS LEMONS
I just hope covid19 happened early. So kobe would just stay home.
Dwight Coward left the group
This showdown was so good I remember ESPN did highlights of it as if it was an actual game. Big stadium or small stadium. Big lights or playground court. The Mamba's competitive spirit didn't care.
STILL come back to this video often
