@@lunasakara7306 honestly though if there was an option between the original design and the later added options. It's still would have been fine, at least there are options that people want to look in a certain fashion. I would be using the fat one to look like Snorlax in-game if it gave me more options ngl
The only problem is that this update was unnecessary in every single way. It is a game about catching pokemons around the world, so make that stuff more enjoyable. Legit just fixing more problems behind the fps during any single action of the game, would have been much more exciting as a person who just plays the game for what it is for.
Plus it was funny reading "I just know you're not thinking woke enough" weirdest slang that I can't seem to wrap around my head cause it sounds stupid for a game feature. Let these people rant in twitter, they'll just get made fun of later

The problem is that the ones pushing this change don't actually care about expressiveness or individuality or whatever they claim to care about. What they want is control. Control over media, over perception, over what you are and aren't allowed to look at.

Not to mention the weird obsession with submissiveness when it comes to social hierarchy, saving face, and one-step-away-from-pop-science personality tests that somehow are a valid reason to hire or not hire somebody based on what results they got.

@ericraululyeetusdelyeetus5028 the analogy of the burger vs salad has been used before to describe this woke shit. Tho my analogy was that he couldn't make it cause he wanted it to be his way and called it art. He refused to make it as it was in the menu

@@thecopperowl8386 not my point, my point was that the analogy wasn't good because it lacked the detail and had the wrong implications because of it. If you had added the description of the show's purpose in the original comment, it would've been perfectly fine.
The analogy's relative beauty lies within the juxtaposition of one's willful ignorance of the purpose of an action, leading to the corruption of that action. Therefore, there isn't any beauty to be had if the purpose isn't clear.

I saw some people in replies really say that the people who changed the avatars were only doing their job and needed the money to access medical care.
Here's the thing, if you want to make that argument, then the employees should do a good job no? Especially when it comes to working with a company that would have a licence with something as big as the Pokemon IP. The people did not do a good job
Whoever approved the change is then in the wrong, also doing a quick Google search (as a Canadian myself) in most places government taxes are used to pay for medical care that does not seem to be the case for Americans, the taxes they would pay from their jobs do not cover medical expenses at all. So the argument about "accessing medical care" is somewhat invalid.
