SKINNING, CLEANING & PROCESSING a SNAPPING TURTLE!!! 🐢

What's going on UA-cam?!?! We're processing (skinning & cleaning) a snapping turtle for the 1st time in this video. This appeared to be a daunting task, but wasn't too bad once I got going. I ended up getting over 10 lbs. of meat off this turtle, and plan to make several different meals with it. I also plan to preserve the shell for a mount idea I'm working on as well. Again, this is not a HOW TO video since it's my very 1st attempt; however, you may learn a thing or two watching!!!

We got one one time and cut the head off and cut the heart out and about 5 hrs later the heart was still beating and the head would still bite down on a stick. Amazing. The key to it is to have crazy sharp knives.
