My granny often drank a cup of peppermint tea before a big meal to "wake up her belly" & now I know why. Thank you for this very informative video. Stay warm & cozy & have a wonderful rest of your day!
Gorgeous, video… as usual. I just Love everything about it. Thank you Terri. I feel many if not most of us just want a peaceful life away from the rat race, close to the earth like our ancestors were where we can thrive, get along with each other and just be ourselves
Thank you Terri for your weekly gift of uplifting our spirits, along with imparting your extensive wisdom. Dean and I had a 2 trailer semi truck go in front of our van just at dusk on Nov. 14th. The police officer first on the scene, said it was a miracle we survived, especially Dean, whose side of the van was sheared off by the trailer. My side was between the 2 trailers. I already knew your videos are a much needed dose of health. However, with the new eyes to seeing what is a true treasure, along with which people are angels, your videos sparkle even brighter that previously. Nothing will ever replace your videos, Lol's music, and the beautiful way in which they are recorded. I am eternally grateful to you Dearest Terri. Your beautiful soul is beaming out what the earth needs for the changes in the world we wish to see. May blessings be heaped upon you always. Light & Love from Sicamous, B. C. Canada xox xox Bea

We look forward to your Sunday morning visits. It brings peace and Devine earthly grounding to the Soul. Thank you for sharing your Spirit with us. Peace from Wisconsin 😊
Elecampane is one of my favorite herbs. I take it as a single tincture at times. I never thought to put it on the hob to scent the air! Your bitters jar looks beautiful with all that fresh garden goodness in it. 💚💗💚💗
At 6:25, I saw a reindeer shape in the root! To my understanding, Reindeer symbolize wisdom, resourcefulness, cleverness, knowledge, creativity, inventiveness and cleverness. They are honored for their nobility and representing continuation of the tribe. Continue The Tribe, you wonderful human!!!
Greetings Terri and Lol. You have been blessed with a beautiful day and a bountiful yard/garden this year. My preference to use would be ACV instead of alcohol, for this household. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experiences. Have a great week, and blessings from Canada. 🌲
Thank-you Terri and Lol for the videos every week. My five friends look forward to watching them and of course I do as well. Enjoy your new week. Peace on earth. Xxx
Thank you so much dear Terri! It's a very steep learning curve for some when I pass around the bitters at Christmastime. If I can get at least one person on the bitters bandwagon a year, it's a win! 😀
I take elderberry syrup , in my fire cider, along with mushroom tincture almost every morning (with a little added organic olive oil) mixed in a couple ounces of water. I now will have to make (or see if I can find) a good bitters to take before meals. Thank you for the inspiration once again. Blessings to you, Loll and the furbabies.
Good morning Terri! There is no more gathering fresh in Oklahoma unless you have a heated greenhouse. After hearing how good they are I will plan my planting better next spring but until then I will buy some. Sounds like what I need. I know a wonderful lady here who makes her own. Take care.
Elecampane is new to me. I appreciate the continual new learning from your videos, Terri. The image of the horse with the bird at the very end of the video was quite amusing. It looked like the bird was pecking at something on the horse’s back.
Thank you Terri, love ALL your videos! You hooked me at Lemon Balm!! Your garden, home, and the knowledge you're sharing are much appreciated. Love from Sweet Home Alabama, USA!💚🇮🇪
Good reminder about using bitters. I used to get hiccups often. Once at a bar and the bartender gave me drops of angostura bitters on a lime slice and glass of club soda. Did the trick. Now I always have some in the fridge and some orange bitters. Both are nice just dropped into sparkling water.
They are wonderful. I remember going into a bar one afternoon with a ferocious headache and was going to go home. The bartender gave me a little glass of bitters and within minutes the headache was gone and I felt great! Wonderful thing xx
Thank you, again, Teri! Definitely making my own bitters. We grew up with the store bought bitters, this is even better! Also love that term; "highway to health"... Makes one more concious of their health maintenance ❤
HiTerri and Lol, Be Blessed... Thank you so much for the tips on the bitters for the holiday season!!! Prayers and love and peace and abudance and gratitude to you daily!!!!😃🙏🌹
Thank you. I’ve ordered elecampane seed and seedlings. Ide not heard Of it. Three years till i harvest the root. 😢 oh well. Now is the day. Thank you for this recipe, I won't have time to make it for this coming holiday season, but I do have a bottle of bitters that I bought from a health food store, so I will use that, great to have the reminder. And Lol's music and video was particularly wonderful on this video. Breathtaking. Thank you both for the lovely sharing every Sunday.
Terri I've been taking bitters for few years. Never really understood them. I make my own pro biotics. So then I've been making Swedish bitters . Have it stocked up. So now you have explained it in a very lovely understandable way I actually thought I was wasting my time with the bitters. I've been through terrible years of surgery and endometriosis. Hi again = ) your creative caring and sharing ,in your own special way, sure is an example of what is missing in this world most. thank you for sharing... there was a huge campaign against dandelions here in the northwest where i grew up in Ohio. the campaign was to eliminate them from your lawn.. yet we as children would eat them and although bitter. were delicious. and we loved them~!! later in life i found out that the dandelion.🌻 is one of the highest in nutrients and vitamins of all green leafy🌿🌱 plants, 💐

They are beautiful and constantly changing depending on the light. Sometimes they look purple, sometimes black, sometimes far away and sometimes seem to be just down the road. xx
Lovely, Terri! A friend sells bitters at market, and I've thought of making my own - great timing as usual! I've most of these, plus I'll add some artichoke leaf - as a little boy, my stepson took that with milk thistle seed for his liver and gal bladed - he needed a liver transplant at 11. I often add a pinch of fresh leaf to tea 🍵
A very useful video as usual, I would like to make the herbal bitters, but only have dandelions left growing. Loved seeing the cat coming towards the camera and meowing. Thanks
Oh, how I loved this video. Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom and a slice of your life with us. Also, beautiful imagery (I especially loved the cat ❤). Be well!

Oh my list just keeps growing Terri!!! I've not tried taking bitters before. I've only heard of angostura bitters. Thank you. Lovely shot of the sunset and the cheeky bird on the horse!
There are those and many others too. The Angostura bitters are associated with cocktails, with secret ingredients!! Try whatever ones you can get. Flora make some and I would recommend those xx

My family used Underberg also a herb bitter with 43 herbs in it, and you drink it in winter, for me, I like herb bitter, but the alcohol , I already get dronk looking at it 😂
Well it is a very small drink but you can make it with ACV as well xx
Oh, one more thing! One of the honey suckle cuttings grew some lovely roots! I am thrilled, and pray that they will not die...!
Hurray - will keep fingers crossed. xx
Good Afternoon Terri! Another great informative video. I was talking to my nephew and found out he makes bitters at his distillery. I need to visit and see what he makes his from. I have a long list of things to create. I am adding bitters to the list. Blessings from Texas.
Blessings Trish! How lucky for you to have such a clever nephew xx
Thank you, that was great and helpful especially taking just prior to "the big meal"
