I appreciate your guids, they certainly made me a better player and thanks to you I use the medic pistol in pretty much all my builds. That tip saved a few teammates when there weren't any medics.
Idk, I think a good sharp and firebug is a great combo as long as you both play your roles. Firebug will take care of all the the trash, sharp takes care of all the medium and biggies
Small thing, check and compare the stats of M99 and Railgun.I love M99 in general btw but Rail gun is cheaper so you will get it faster and with the upgraded stats from tier V you get Faster reload, 1 less weight, more total ammo, better knockout and penetration and a few more. But less damage.
I like watching your guides to see if my weapon/talent choices line up with what is "optimal", usually they do which feels nice, and to see what other weapon loadouts you recommend. I love using the .500 Magnum and the M99 sniper so much, it has grown to become my new favorite perk/weapon combo (otherwise I like Gunslinger or Commando). It is just so dang satisfying popping large zeds heads while on the move. If only I could do a slow motion dive type movement like Max Payne or something, then it would be a complete and perfect experience. I do mostly play Solo Endless HoE though (I like the challenge/XP and/or sometimes don't have the time to commit to a team for very long), which means large zeds have less HP, I think. Still though, the M99 is way too satisfying to use to pass up, even despite that I dislike that I can't upgrade my .500 Magnum with it due to the weight limitations of Sharpshooter. Sometimes I use Survivalist to scratch that itch since you can get to /20 weight limit, but it's a slightly different feel from using the weapon combo with Sharpshooter.
With an M99, the magnum is the best because you can still use a single 9mm, which have the same ammo pool as the dual 9mm, and the damage is pretty much the same. M99 = Big zeds, Magnum = Medium zeds, 9mm = trash zeds (especially spiders and stalkers).
Dangles, good sir, you have illuminated me in many ways in this game and how to interact with other perks. What I mean is thanks dude, hope this videos get you money because its evident you know your shit and have a nice way of teaching it.
I know the community bash on perk and skill balance a lot, but can we just stop for a moment and thanks how TWI make a great balance on SS design, skill, and loadout?
To be honest, the worst problems with the game are few. Firebugs make precision classes cry, the upgrade system and endless mode need changed, and survivalist needs a re-work. You could easily fix all those by removing fire panic, booting the upgrade system to endless only and letting it scale higher, and allowing survivalists to specialize with their LR choices more (giving damage bonuses to certain perk weapons, like they do reloads, would be nice). Tripwire seems more interested in making new weapons and maps, and I can't fault them on that. That's always nice.
@@immortalnub On SS, it is a fine gun. It offer something different in it kit while maintain balance. The OPness of fal shine the shit out on mando tho.
@@krel7160 Zedsplosion was indeed an excellent change, along with making fire panic pause Scrake and FP rage. And Survivalist re-work is supposed to be in the cards sometime this year. Tripwire's got the changes on a slow burn, but they're good.

been trying to play Sharp in pubs, it is usually full of chaos, but i love swats and commandos when they do there jobs in securing down an area for a sharpshooter to take down a big zed.
Nice video. Personally, upgraded Railgun with dual 9mms and a .500 has been the best for most situations. But there isn’t a single sharpshooter weapon i don’t love to use.
SS is definitely my go-to perk in this game, though I haven't hit level 25 just yet. Normally, since I tend to play solo more often than not due to a lack of friends who also play this, I usually go for the SPX 464 over the Crossbow when playing Endless, but if I'm just running a few quick Survival games, I'll take the Crossbow and save up for the M99 on the last round, upgrading either weapon as I go. As for secondaries, I usually just stick with the 9mm for clearing trash, though after this guide I'll start buying the .500 Magnum.
For sharp, I prefer Sniper and Stability for abilities, as it allows me to one shot most trash and Gorefiends. I should also mention that the crossbow is my favorite for mid game use since it can stun zeds so well. I don't use Rack em up due to me needing that fast reload so often.
What the two player scenes showcase best is that it's horrid to play either solo or with less than 3-4 people since you will be blindsided every fucking second you do not turn around. Which is tedious to say the least and turns me away from this game, the constant sprinting makes me mad and I just need a break after 850 hours. TW's attempt at making players move more throughout the map is also nullified with large zed groups spawning right around the corner and we also have the "Hold your ground" objectives which are the exact opposite of the intent. Quo vadis, KF2? Nobody knows. BTT: SS is a darn fine perk and easily the second most important in your team if you want a decently easy time on HoE (Demo is obviously needed because you will be stomped by FPs/QPs otherwise). Also the bullets of the M99 are scary big.
Hold your ground objectives are one of the most bullshit things to ever exist in this game, especially in higher difficulties. I hardly ever see any serious group trying to attempt these, unless they are already positioned in the best places to hold on in a given map.
I rely on M14 + Centerfire myself. The M14 can handle small enemies pretty well and has one of the better reload times. The Centerfire meanwhile can reliably one-shot medium enemies, and is much better than the M14 when it comes to taking down big Zeds, although the reload makes it a bit unreliable otherwise. Overall a pretty good and simple combo that doesn't require you to cycle through 4 different weapons in the heat of the moment.
I prefer medic's HMTech-201 SMG to pair with the "big" rifles, especially in smaller team (no medic) or with a weak medic. It offers better trash ZEDs killing capacity and team-healing option. You usually go for secondary when overwhelmed with trash ZEDs and you can kill more of them with steady smg headshots.
it must have been added after this vid was made, but my fav rifle is the mosin nagant. does amazing damage for a tier 3, and has a special melee bash as it has a bayonet making for a nice panic weapon. only 5 round mag hurt sometimes though
For sharpshooter I usually go with the m14 and the tommy gun. 50 rounds a mag is too good to passup, and the full auto can clear trash zeds pretty well.
Forgot to add. Crossbow is very newb friendly as the bolts can be picked up. Thus less money wasted on ammo buying. And more for buying armour and nades.
After I give M14 a chance after M99 man for a while. Yes it's now my favorite one now, decent price, do what it supposed to do nicely, and more importantly, a laser dot for blind shot. So I decided to try FNL and well...I hope it has a laser dot too LMAO.

M99 for high damage, 500 for high damage, because if you can kill a strake or an fleshpound very quickly, you can definitely kill the trash quickly, this class aquires damage and headshots

Another problem with this perk is having team members who rage scrakes lighting them on fire or using explosives. But in general SS is a great perk for almost any team or map. Just make sure you have atleast one team member who is a decent trash killer. Getting swarmed by huge numbers of small zeds is a nightmare. My favourite weapon combinations: M99 + Magnum or Upgraded Railgun + Upgraded Magnum.

Tier 1: Starting Weapons T2: 650-850 Dosh T3: 1100-1200 Dosh T4:1500-1600 Dosh T5: 2000+ Dosh Weapon tier is important for upgrades, as you can only upgrade weapons up to tier 5. So a starting weapon like the Lever Action, can only be upgraded 4 times (Tier 1 + 4 Upgrades = Tier 5).

Hey guys how can you tell what "Tier" a weapon is. And how do I know what "tier" it's considered when I upgrade it??? Thanks
Tier is defined by its price range.
Tier 1: Starting Weapons
T2: 650-850 Dosh
T3: 1100-1200 Dosh
T4:1500-1600 Dosh
T5: 2000+ Dosh
Weapon tier is important for upgrades, as you can only upgrade weapons up to tier 5. So a starting weapon like the Lever Action, can only be upgraded 4 times (Tier 1 + 4 Upgrades = Tier 5).
