The fact that a game with such a message of “greedy corporations with awful leadership that only cares about maximum profits suck” had its studio get shut down due to a greedy corporation with awful leadership that only cares about maximum profits is the cruelest form of poetry, I HATE IT
I was going to buy the dlc to support them after they where fired But right before (and I’m glad I realized this) I realized that money wouldn’t be to them anymore so I’m sad now I can’t wait for their next studio and games though
The money didn't go directly to Tango before the closure either. Don't let this stop you. There's still the option to hunt for discounted product keys on third party sites.
90% of the shut down of small companies owned by larger companies has absolutely nothing to do with the games that they put out. It's sucks how much greedy corporate politics stifle creativity and not just in the games industry.
I mean this one did. They made 2 other games that flopped. Plus high five rush couldn't not sustain a player base. Despite the high praise , ninety percent of the people that played it quit after the third boss Because only a very small percentage of people like rhythm games nowadays.
I didn't play Hi-Fi Rush, but hearing how Xbox/Microsoft shut down the studio left a bitter taste in my mouth. I'm an avid player of an Xbox/Microsoft online game, but knowing they can shut down a game, even one with a high profile, made me insecure if I'd wanted to continue putting my time into it, as it can be shutdown tomorrow. No matter how big following it has
It didn't really have that big of a following. According to achie Achievement data , ninety percent of the people who played it quick after the third boss , since Most people don't likes rhythm games nowadays. It doesn't help that they made two games before this and both of them flopped.
Neat video I liked what your talking about today . Even though it was sad with what happen to Hi-Fi Rush , but at the very least it would still remember fondly . Not to mention , it also allow to show one of many reasons to dislike gaming industry .
It's easy to underestimate how niche this game is. Action games and rhythm games already cater to very niche audiences, and this combines both genres. I play tons of games and these are two of the very few genres I don't enjoy, so no matter how much love, passion and creativity went into it, I would almost certainly not enjoy Hi-Fi Rush and would probably not play it even if I could access it for free. There are simply too many great games available that appeal to me to bother. Regardless, the closure of Tango is sad and a major loss for those who enjoy what their games uniquely offer.
Hopefully someone else will pick up Hi-Fi Rush it's unknown if Bethesda is under them..however I'm not getting my hopes up and I lost my respect to Xbox and I want to get rid of my Series X but I can't since they own Crash and Spyro
I mean ninety percent of the people who played it didn't even finish it. According to achieve a data they qafter the third boss. Which makes perfect sense sonce the most dedicated of players could get through and enjoy the rhythm boss fights. Plus it probably didn't do as well as the PR guy made it sound. I mean , the studio Made two other games that flopped.
@@sonicrunn3r895 HiFi is boring and generic. Just like concord. But concord has time tested mechanics that made games like ov, and paladins survive, in spite of the bad developments
Having smaller unqie games like this or Gravity Rush for playstation is what fills the consoles with uniqe catalog that makes a console stand out. Even if they don't sell insanely well it gives reason for more people to check a console out since it has more to offer than the basic AAA that get more stale by the minute.

Hifi Rush was my 2023 GOTY personally. Hope the Tango devs are able to land on their feet.
Hello from the future. They got purchased and survived by the pubg publisher funny enough.
man, I can't buy this in good faith anymore because my money isn't going to the studio, but the incompetent pigs at the top

At the very least the studio just got purchased and they plan to hire back the devs that got laid off and expand the IP
We so back. Thanks Krafton
Hearing that news made my day!!!

I'm glad Hi-Fi Rush exists, it's my favorite action game since Devil May Cry 3.

i love this game, but, i just cant get pass the quicktime event of continously pressing a series of buttons

Guess I’m some of the most dedicated of players
Activision Blizzard killed Hi-Fi Rush, let's be real.
keep crying
I don't think I've ever seen a comment where I can out loud say “corporate shill” as a reaction but here we are
@@sonicrunn3r895 said a corporate shill. This game's mid, and I would plat concord over this

Gravity Rush is another great example of this!! I wish publishers valued games like that
