I bet the answer is just even though us as a community, or at least a minority of us, liked it from the first look it's not probably all that popular, and it didn't make enough money it's a very easy answer but this is my just my two cents
Most gaming issues would fix if all gamers stopped buying micro transactions or season passes. It's not corporate incompetence that is destroying all this games (tho it's not the opposite either), but rather an issue of market incentives. (mostly agreeing with the video conclusions)
I'm glad that lately we are seeing a lot more people playing and cherishing indie games, you could say it was always there but less then 10 years ago the big influencers, gamers and games media(IGN and etc) barely gave a shit unless it was a hit that they never saw coming, but with more hits through the years, now everybody got an eye on the indies. However, my biggest fear is that companies will try to use that to their advantage or will try to trick people to lose their perception of what indie is, it may sound dumb, but last year on the TGA from Geoff's was a big red flag for me, with Dave the Diver getting nominated, there was controversy thank god not everyone is that dumb to notice, but that show is voted by "gaming journalists and influencers", and after that i saw alot of people, inclunding Geoff, talking stuff like "what is indie? is it a felling? Kojima is indie", like, WTF? and people start parroting this, with stuff like FROMSOFTWARE is indie, and Larian which was the talk of the town last year, is insane. This could cause problems way down the line because people are dumb, there may not be a concensus of what a "indie game" is, i get that, there is too many situations, but people know what a indie game is, and is not a fucking feeling or style like indie rock for fucks sake. edit: for spacing

New Kohana banger just dropped 🔥🔥 another thing that sucks about these corporations is the rampant discrimination and harassment in them, and the perpetrators don't even get punished for their actions
“Xbox doesn’t care about art” is just a untrue fan boyish statement lol the video was doing so good til that point. They still make niche non live service games like Hellblade, Psychonauts and Avowed stop the cap
Pretty sure he wasn't talking about people that are in the artistic space and moreso to higher-ups, business men, sales teams, just people that work more with business, finances, legalities, and sales. It's like saying Nintendo doesn't care about modding, everyone automatically knows they're talking about Nintendo's lawyers.
Yeah, this video is filled with over the top nonsense, as though they mysteriously closed Tango because the anti-corporate message offended Microsoft. 😂 Ever seen the Fallout TV show?
I bet the answer is just even though us as a community, or at least a minority of us, liked it from the first look it's not probably all that popular, and it didn't make enough money it's a very easy answer but this is my just my two cents
Ppl didn’t buy Tango’s games
I bought Hi Fi Rush for PS5
@@bailujen8052 nice, but what about their other 3 games ?
@@JonathanTacoman I remember having a copy of the evil within 1 on PS3
Bro said spider mid 2 was good lol
Super Mario 65 when?
Great video!
They crashed already.
6 years ago everyone was going nuts for indies, nowadays, no one cares. They saturated the market and for every good indie that is innovative we have 9 castlevania/pokemon/zelda/harvest moon clone
Pp😮
