Great video!!!! I would make that stick detachable like we discussed. and even for this trip you can cut it off in 5secs and deal with drilling it later. i personally wouldn't put any more fuel in the back seat then a 5gal can plus your equipment. Your butt and bladder are going to need a rest before you use all that extra fuel. Order some Declain and add it to your fuel when running 100ll 1/2oz per 10gal of fuel. Get it in the air already!!!
Hi Jon! I would strongly recommend sacrificing that rear stick. I cut mine off and got a replacement from Mike at the factory for around 35 or 40 dollars. I sent you some photos on FB with the cargo setup I used to fly to Oshkosh. Hope it helps!
@@berniebrown9115 That was my initial plan, but the challenge with that is that the tube is bent just above the linkages where it needs to be cut. Since the replacement stick wasn't too costly, and swapping them out isn't too difficult, I decided that was the easier way to go.
Beware the GL armadillo bag when filling it. DO NOT GET FUEL ON THE OUTER BAG. It will never un-fume itself after that. LOL. Hang it from something when filling and don't fill it full, it's easier to close up and empty that way. My experience is with the 5 gallon, which was borrowed.
It would be good to find a place to stash the gas or find a place along the way,if that helps engine stops and you have to land your going to wish it wasn’t there,,you got to ditch those controls in the back really it’s the only safe thing to do
John Baker is building an aluminum tank for direct replacement of the fiberglass 15 gallon tanks. I have one too but so far I’ve been able to find ethanol free gas in Alberta. As soon as I can’t, the fiberglass tank is coming out.

@@scottgotwings yea we were just talking about that! I will check my messages!
@@scottgotwings seems like it would be easy to cut it off and have a coupler with a bolt to replace when needed

No negative here! Enjoy and thanks
@@berniebrown9115 awesome thank you so much for the watch!
Maybe get a small ratchet strap to put around back of sest, then go around cargo bag and fuel take. And more horizontal stability.
@@62heliman I definitely will!

Ethanol gas has been a stress in the back of my mind lately... I have fiberglass tank. Cannot get ethanol-free here in Canada. So stupid.
@VerticalSpeed1987 why don't they have any there?
Av gas at the airport,,the blue stuff,I’m in Canada as well
