    Back in the day I had a FL250 with a 440 SnoJet engine in it. It would light the tires on asphalt from a dead stop every time. Sold it to a family that wanted it for their son. The dad kept saying "does it have enough power? he needs alot of power". LOL when we completed the sale I drove it up the driveway to their trailer to load it, I held a wheelie the entire distance, then spun a 360 on pavement to line up with their trailer. The wife went dead white in the face as she realized what they were buying. All that power and zero rear suspension /chuckle

      @@BarnStangz haha tru'dat! First time I really ran that machine, took it to a old gravel pit. I tried a huge vertical climb thinking I'd make it a good way up then turn out... I cleared the top with a good 6f launch. That machine was nuts. Clutch and torque converter had slightly different angles so it burned belts pretty quick, only reason I sold it.

    but definetly please get wrist restraints PLEASE! I dont ever want to witness you guys get hurt and be unable to support yourself/build more crazy contraptions because of something so simple to prevent as breaking your arms because of ignoring obvious safety issues!!! I need this in my life.... My YZ250 is fun, my 450R is even more fun because i like 4 wheels and 4 stroke reliability and torque more, but this thing....... This 2 stroke monster is just undeniably sick. I would love to have this same setup except with either a streetbike engine 600cc+ or a 4 stroke atv engine 350cc+. A foot throttle, and foot rear brake pedals along with some LED lights and electric start with a small 12v battery would make this my favorite ATV ever. All my personal prefferrence aside... That Odyssey is beyond rad. Great job! Super nice fab work too. I love watching you guys build rad atv's. The barbie jeep is something i would always keep in the back of my old toyota pickup.. If that was in the back, that old pickup and barbie jeep would become my daily setup. hehe. So rad... Keep it up!

      F U bahahaha. You must be one of these bubble wrapped kids that can’t take any criticism. I don’t give a fuck what’s in your head. I’m just stating fact. Long travel would make the handling of this oddy way better. And yes I would know as I actually have one. The stock suspension on an odyssey is way to stiff and the rear acts more like a pogo stick and bouncing the back up instead of absorbing the rough shit. There’s a reason all trophy trucks and Baja cars have long travel suspension.

    • @fullyford
      @fullyford 5 років тому +5

      F U really that’s the best you could come up with trying to dis my mom. Wow. You showed me. I think I learned my lesson not to pick on you or try to educate you on something.
      And the stock suspension actually does suck balls “something you know all about” on the fl350 and can’t handle the rough stuff. Yes I just lowered myself to your level with that comment. It’s a very poor design by Honda. Actually using the axle as a third link in the suspension, so when you break a u-joint you also break a shock.

      Yeah that was pretty funny! I would've put a few more zip ties on it at least but it made for good content lol. Did you see the video they put up other day? They fixed the 7 gallon tank and gonna use it. There really wasn't anything wrong with it. He was putting to much pressure in it. Fuel tanks really never see any pressure cuz they're vented and to pressure test for leaks your really only need like 5psi not the 100psi he used last time.

    When this thing is done, you have a serious contender to take over to Pismo Beach California to the sand drags or Glamis dunes.
    Years ago I had friend who threw a 3cyl nitrous powered snowmobile engine in an 85 Honda ATC 250R frame with a 6f long extended swingarm.
    That thing was unbeatable for years even though it was full on lunatic fringe to ride.
    I'd love to build one of these with a Busa engine and 6speed in it. Hmm, one for street and one for dirt..............................
    Keep up the crazy cool builds.

    Where I grew up there was a kid with a cool father that built him a ridiculous go-kart. We were all warned to stay off of it if we weren't wearing gear and supervised. I think it had a 30 or 35hp Briggs and Stratton engine.
    Grind Hard Plumbing (May 2019) - "130hp should be cool for a Go-Kart, right?" "Yeah, totally. I mean cars have like 1,000hp and they're fun."

    Take it from me guys, GREAT build. I was as crazy as you two when I was young and now wish I had one of those. My point: that machine originally had wrist straps on the steering wheel that you put your hands through before riding. A guy I knew within 30 minutes of getting his home, neglecting to strap his hands in. Well he was in an ambulance heading to the hospital to get muscle tissue and tendons reattached. Please look into that... It happens so fast.

    I owned the same one twice. First, the netting isn't needed, it's supposed to have wrist straps. Second, put stronger springs on the exhaust for jumping it. It tends to flex out and not come back to where it goes. Wear a back brace for landing in the sitting position. The brakes and steering don't work when you're airborne.
