I love these two, but their mockery of alternative medicines are another reason why I think Western medicine is too far up its ass. When my dad was trying to find something to relieve his pain from a shattered pelvis in a car accident, he tried essentially everything, multiple drugs, etc., and the only thing that gave him the relief he was looking for was acupuncture. Yes yak yak yak... so good to hear you can be silent and sit with yourself, interesting topics and opinions. I am so thankful that after being sexually assaulted by an alergist in the 70s (lost his license for assaulting several clients) I found a family doctor who actually sat with his patients and listened to them and asked life questions!!! 1970s!! He educated and empowered me constantly. This mans heart was in the rare place of a true healer. So fortunate. Another doctor I was lead to was an oncologist. 1990s She was heart broken when the patients she was caring for with pain meds for their cancer were actually dying because of the meds. Dr Gardner and her authentic heart were led to John Kabbit Zin in the U.S. I did not have cancer, but my doctor believed in prevention and I was experiencing stress working at a toxic law firm (who had a human rights law suit against them), so she referred me to the 12 week Mindfulness based pilot program at Sunnybrook Hospital Toronto Canada. I am so fortunate to have received tge heart sense and intelegent mindset of these healers. I would like to hear stories from others who have experienced healers. I have never been physically sick in hospial or had to take drugs.I am 70 and still have brown non dyed hair while all my large group of friends who I grew up with have had doctors that first subscribed drugs. They are in awe when they see me after several years for reunions and say how do you do it. But they dont listen, their eyes glaze over when I share my simple non drug life style and mind sets. They are really good intelegent people.
I'm surprised they didn't acknowledge what they got wrong when they acted like "misinformation police" against Dr McCullough and Dr Malone. And that they didn't acknowledge that both of those Drs were also HUGE advocates throughout covid on the importance of discourse, open debate and not censoring those with opposing views. Perhaps they will invite them on to discuss that specific topic, share some "my bads" and find some common ground.
Speak of misinfo and covid… I can’t be the only one that wants to hear you two talk with Bret W about his take on the various studies. His logic is so damn good in every regard that I can judge and you two are among the few I’d trust to be qualified and come in good faith.
Bret spent the majority of these three years completely terrified. He's terrified of the virus (un-justified) because he believes it was engineered to harm a maximum number of humans, which is ludicrous given the extreme low lethality of SCV2), he also pushed "masking" for a majority of these three years and only recently go off that. He pretends he "changes his mind when he sees new information" trouble is the "new information" is old information that was knowable and no panic was ever warranted. The anti-vax side lives with just as much terror as the vax side. The fear is on both sides of the coin.
As long as ZD keeps his cool, since Bret believes (as I do) in the efficacy of Ivermectin (at least more for Delta and previous strains). ZD has said he gets angry towards people like Bret Weinstein. I agree about Bret, his logic is unbeatable.
Didnt Zdog talk bad about him likening him to a quack? I do not think he is a quack by any means. Im not sure if I am remembering correctly and may be confusing Bret with someone else.
You may be confusing him with Dr Geert Vanden Bossche about whom ZDogg did a UA-cam video and it was the most disingenuous, cringe episode of any podcast I've ever seen. He refused to debate or even discuss with Dr GVB who is an esteemed virologist and vaccinologist whose exquisitely detailed and scientific warnings and predictions for the past 2 years have almost all uncannily come to pass.
CGM's are a great tool for people looking to better understand how their blood sugar responds to what they eat, how they exercise and the quality of sleep. They don't provide the complete picture of what is going on as they can't account for how much insulin the body is producing to keep blood sugars at a certain level, but when combined with some other blood markers and measurements, will provide a positive feedback loop to make dietary and lifestyle changes to lower inflammation and insulin resistance which is a driver/contributor of many chronic diseases. HbA1C is a lagging indicator of metabolic health and it is almost a certainly that everyone has some level of insulin resistance. It just depends on how far down the path people are. Generally, you see a big rise in HbA1C when IR becomes significant and it happens in a short time where people go from "healthy" to "Pre-diabetic" to "Diabetic".
Yes please do a show in diabetes management. I’m pre diabetic and the doctor prescribed a CGM. So I tried it for a month, it was good to learn how my body reacts to certain foods. And how quickly i can bring it down when I do exercise like walking.
Many doctors are now helping people reverse their type 2 diabetes, or pre diabetes. Carbohydrate restriction is clinically proven to do that. Dr Eric Westman here on YT is just one of those docs. Also Virta Health is a great source of info.
Zdogg has a few really insightful episodes with Dr. Ronesh Sinha (I think the videos called him Ron Sinha) and Dr Sinha has more videos going in depth on his channel
I'm only 2:49 into the video and it is already my favorite of all of yours I've seen. Awesome clear seeing, beyond the made up consructs of consensual reality. So ..... refreshing.
Fetterman "Doesn't just look that good." The fact that you two think he's a better choice is mind boggling. And I think both of you are great to listen to! I'm not an Oz fan either, but 'common.
I enjoy watching you two more than just listening to your podcast, which is why I wait until your material is posted on UA-cam. You two have more chemistry than most married couples. I would also put you at the top of the category for best show to exercise to. ZDoggMD's weight insecurity is strangely motivating.
My CGM has been so incredibly useful to see how my body responds to certain foods and stress. It has helped me lose weight. I'm using it for 3 months, and don't think I'll need to continue based upon how much I've learned. (Family hx of diabetes, trying to prevent)
I love listening to you guys. Unafraid and well spoken. I enjoy your talks each and every time. Where is the middle ground? Why must everyone try to be so far right or left? If you find yourself in a conversation with someone who says they are far left or right, ask them pointed questions about the middle ground, most of them will be pretty reasonable but they feel the need to virtue signal to their tribes. And me, I refuse to do so. I've been told I'm being influenced to be more left leaning. Nah, just looking for what makes sense. Abortion isn't a black or white issue. There is middle gray area that has to be understood. Yes, we all chose life when it is possible, but a tubal pregnancy or other mitigating factor could make it very dangerous to continue the pregnancy. We can't claim to be compassionate people and not try to put ourselves in others shoes. We can't know the full story. We don't live their lives. Oh, I recently remembered a trem that is amazing. Sonder. It means the pondering of those around you, knowing that their lives are just as rich and complicated as your own. Love the word, its now a part of my vocab and everyday focus 😊 Love the show guys!! Keep it up peace ✌ 🌺

Great convo as per usual!
Remember when Zdogg gave misinformation regarding Dr. McCullough and Dr. Malone ???
Yes, I do! I can’t stomach this guy as a result. He threw respected doctors under the bus yet these doctors were successfully treating patients
Exactly. I stopped listening to him when he decided to blast Geert Vanden Bossche. He pushed the jab as if were a god.
Well look at excess non covid deaths now! Vaccine anyone
Hmmm interesting, that’s not cool
@@suras8984 I don't think he intended to be a quack, but I think he suffered from audience capture, which pushed him down a non-useful path.
You guys are great ❤
Yes please do a show in diabetes management.
Also look into videos by Dr. Jason Fung, a doctor who has helped patients reverse insulin resistance through intermittent fasting.
I'm only 2:49 into the video and it is already my favorite of all of yours I've seen. Awesome clear seeing, beyond the made up consructs of consensual reality. So ..... refreshing.
My favorite podcast!
I love the real discussion!
How on earth did I not know this was posted until 6 DAYS later? Even when I disagree on something I completely enjoy your discussions. Thank you!
UA-cam shadow banning, perhaps?
It was a great show! I laughed out loud more than once. VP - You are hysterical with your sham studies!
RockMama 247 FTW ❤️🙏
You two should do some more research on Brandon’s federal Marijuana clemency rule. It didn’t release a single federal prisoner.
Another Lucy with the football Biden put out, just like the student debt relief.
You stole my comment 🙂
Largely because no one goes to prison on a (rare) federal possession charge. What he needed to do is take the pot question off the ATF form and quit hassling Canadians(and others) at the border.
@@missano3856 The point is that Biden did a big show of this while doing absolutely nothing to either address the issue or actually help people. Just like his student debt relief, this is Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown. A very Trump move
@@barnabusdoyle4930 He's always been anti-weed, and did what little he did without enthusiasm.
Work like your job depends on it. If you hate your job or if you are genuinely being mistreated by your employer, then leave. The longer you stay in a bad situation, the more miserable you will be.
Of only people were able to afford working for themselves and not building someone else's future with their blood and sweat. But. The cheering Elon fan boys will gloat about everyone getting laid off because it is a good sign for society that people's lives are a play in a team sport.
I love you two together!
Love y’all thanks for coming back!
I’m usually a podcast listener.
This is the conversation I needed to hear today! And I totally agree about hospital food. Recovering from 6 weeks in hospital with cancer and covid had to get my daughter to sneak food in. I've never seen meat that color. Lol. I survived and healing well!
Hospital food is horrendous. My diabetic patient was given a large bowl of pasta and his sugar is always high.
I'm glad to here your expression of frustrations of not being truly heard. I don't have platforms for sharing that you have but the same. I always thought having one would change that. I guess not!
Love it when these two get together.
I have been curious about what you both feel about the “misinformation” that has been disseminated for years regarding carbohydrate recommendations by USDA and diabetic management. Lots of room for discussion about big pharma’s role in supporting drugs over diet . I would love to hear your thoughts on this subject.
That's Dr. Simone Gold to you.
So fun to listen to!
New years day '22 we drove to the beach here in NYC and the whole family plunged into the Atlantic, it was fantastic! We are doing it again this year
Vinay, You should see the interview with Dr. Kory on the Dr. Drew show. He has critiqued the Active 6 study on Ivermectin. I found it sensible indeed. You should talk to the FLCCC team and look at their results before disnissing them. Trusting that your analytical skills and their experience will bring out something good.
Vinay and ZDogg haven’t treated people with Covid, yet they put down treatments that are saving people’s lives.
You guys are truly hilarious. This was delightful and I will now listen to every single other episode that comes out.
One way to change things is just vote Republican
Free, easy, and educational, and enjoyable!
Love when you talk like your father
Man, I love a fast paced, intelligent, science convo between two cool dudes. Thank you so much, gentlemen, for tickling my 72 year old retired RN brain.
I'm sad to watch this, plus read Dr. Prasad's Misinformation piece on Sensible Medicine, along with Dr. Beth Høeg's takedown of the New England Journal of Medicine and realize the NOTHING is going to change.
“Count Chocula was German”😂😂😂😂💕💕💕💕
You are both hilarious and genius 😂
Vinay, I HEAR you about the inefficient, wastes-of-time meetings that so grate on my nerves.
For me when I was teaching, it was those unbearable “All Staff” meetings that last like 45 minutes, when they could have sent ALL the important info in an EMAIL which I could have read in 1-2 minutes! 🤦🏻♀️
love this show you guys have ironically because of you 2 I changed my mind on getting vaccinated which I didn't initially plan to. On the other hand you helped me give a BIG HELL NO to a 4th booster and trusting my recent Omicron natural infection has given me great immunity :).
Really? On this channel? Look in the mirror if you want misinformation.
Hi guys, I just love you!! You make me laugh so much, and I learn a couple of things in the process. ZDogg, I have never liked meditation, but you have warmed me up to it. Vanay, you are just the best!. Question for anyone who would like to answer it, What is a substack?
Right-spin left-spin double -blind randomized controlled studies. We are all Higgs bosons. LOL
I held off on watching this for 2 whole months because it was long and I wasn't sure I would get into it. Little did I know you guys are _hilariously_ entertaining. I love how brutal you get, and your dedication to science _as a method,_ rather than a set of conclusions, is something I desperately needed to see more of in the world, for my personal happiness and my ability to be optimistic about our future as a society.
I love listening to you guys! I had a specific request since you both are wonderful educators. I'm an FNP in clinical research. I've learned a lot from years of working but I just don't have the vast knowledge you both have on interpretation. I would love and find significant benefit on a video that may educate providers (maybe even non providers) how to do this as efficiently as you do. Thank you for the work you both have done.
Love this show so much, I've added "must like The VPZD show" to my dating pool screening
Awesome and effective filter!!
Also, regarding the marijuana pardons, tell me, who has been charged with simple possession of marijuana at the federal level? His pardon doesnt actually really mean anything.
I think doctors just have an understandably skewed perception of reasonable amounts of work. A normie (like me) would be aghast at the overworking that goes on in an Elon Musk company, but a doctor would just go "Ahh, reminds me of residency."
Spend a little time in the military. They have the same work ethic
It helps to b paid Well enuff to live and thru r reasonably well. Pay so wi e crap/minimum wage And Why should they overly exhaust themselves When there is no rest /good pay out Only exhaustion
Best show. Was at a notable WDC physician appt. We discussed this show. At $325/hr. You guys rock.
I've never learned as much while laughing my ass off
100% 😂 these guys are the best!
Exactly why I LOVE this show and get super excited when I see a new one posted! 😊
Can you make a video about the film Died Suddenly. I thought people would be swarming you with this by now. But I'm not seeing anyone mention it.
And about the Safe and Effective: A Second Opinion documentary.
You guys nailed Dr oz!!! So true!
I live in Pa, voted for Oz, and see nothing whatsoever true in what these guys said. All democrats are all about power, no republican is. Witness how often 100% of democrats vote the same, that is a power move.
My son is thirty. No medical training. In 2020, after the shutdown and persistent use of masks, predicted "immune debt" without knowing it was actually a thing.
Sounds good!
Hi there. i wold like to suggest you to take a look in Dr. Benjamim Bikman's and Dr. Jason Fung's work on insulin resistance and diabetes. Dr. Paul Mason's work on colesterol is great too. I love your show, funny, informative, and especially, rational. Keep doing the good work. Thank you.😍
Over past couple years zd less reactive and maybe that’s age related or just more integral with his mindfulness practice but even if vp more reactive since vp relies on rcts it is all good. Overall both of you are good listeners and curious which is super green. Thanks for your time and really appreciate all the coaching and teaching.
“Micro meditations”? Like “oh I’m so screwed now. Breathe”?
Thanks!
Thanks 🙏
Hi Dr. Z. I would be interested in you talking about the booster for people with long covid. It's tough assessing the risk levels. Personally I am 27 and have had long covid since I got it for the last 5 months including shortness of breath, weight loss, bad GERD, headaches and fatigue. Enjoy your talks so much!
Listen to your body. The vaccines will make you sicker.
Toot toot. Great show
I really enjoy listening to you both.
Thanks gentlemen always love your conversations. ♥️
Since the monitor is an learning/education device, using it for only 2 years is significant.
TREE NUTS FOR LIFE, SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pumpkin seeds (sprouted, of course), cashews, macadamia nuts, and almonds every damn day. Of course green tea and blueberries every day as well.
Spend your money on high quality, healthy food now or spend even MORE money on medications and hospital bills later. Choice is ours! 💖💖
Vinay was talking a little while ago about floridas Ladapo’s credentials and pushing back about people trying to discredit him. What does he think about Ladapo’s association with Americas Frontline Doctors? Serious question, just cuz you guys were knocking them.
Are there any people here in the comments who love these two being on together?--and can forgive the mistaken reference to Toronto as a "providence" rather than Ontario without going after Dr. Z's guest with pitchforks ?? 😂🤣
I certainly don't 'blame Canada' (South Park) lol!! 🇨🇦
You two are walking talking "horrendous dad jokes" and I love it.
And I'm starting to think all of our nations issues stem from Narcissism. All roads point to Narcissism. What do you think?
Boa constrictor meal is now in ny vocab, thanks!
Mine, too! 😂.
After the real time glucose meter sensor is placed, there is no "needle" in your subcutaneous tissue, just a hollow catheter--check it out when you take it off. (Assuming your device was the Freestyle Libre 2 sensor).
BTW, you guys are awesome!
I love the way they drag on far left partisan democrats and then use Clinton as an example of someone who is a centrist.
I really wanted these 2 doctors to help me understand how Fettermans' condition will not impact his ability to make the best decisions on making laws that bind 350 million Americans. Not just rag on OZ. I can't think of any job making less than 50k that Fetterman would be allowed to do in his current condition, but his condition doesn't impact his ability to be 1 of the most powerful people in the country, that can vote to take others rights away.
“One toot at a time”. Lol😂
Did you upload a video yesterday that isn't there now or was I dreaming? 🤭😅
Yo, don't dunk on Oregon Ditch water until you've tried it. It's the rawest, ditchyest water. It's the best Ditch water there is thank you very much.
Good show
I'm hugely left-wing. But I no longer recognise the left.
Great Team
Hey guys, I’m a lay person but on a recent family trip to SF of all places, I showed your podcast to my wife who is a Harvard Med grad and radiologist who VERY QUIETLY shares many of your blasphemous views. It was funny watching her cathartically laugh at your jokes about mask zealotry. Do you take submissions to sensible medicine? She’s well credentialed and might add something of value. Thanks for your refreshing viewpoints!
What was the post-lunch glucose reading? I'm not seeing it in the description.
