      Same here.. demanding she pick up soda.. there was no "can u" or "please" nor a "thank u".. yet she still said she would do it cause that's her son and she loves him (as mothers should).. it's just heartbreaking that he would do something like this to the same woman that gave him life and was willing to do anything she could to help him. It's so horribly disgusting that anyone could hurt their own mother, let alone kill her!! Smh. Takes a real monster to do something like that

      Out of everyone in this case, my heart broke for Krista. Especially when you hear friends and family talk about her. She was just a kind, patient, nurturing mother. Not just to her kids, but to everyone else around her. In the victim impact statements. The grandmother said despite everything Chandler did to them, if their parents were still alive in that courtroom, they wouldn’t want Chandler to spend the rest of his life in jail. I definitely believe that one for Krista. Despite how horrible her own son treated her, she still would’ve taken his side. She was a gentle soul that will truly be missed by everyone 💔 not just in Windsor, but everyone who learns about this case and her kindness.

      @@astridvvv9662 That's just it, he didn't ask, he ordered her. Was he in the habit of speaking to her like this, if so she should have cared enough for herself to demand respect from him. There's a lesson in this, to harden your heart just a little when it comes to your children, and treat them as you would any other criminal. Bart really should have made his first stop the police station; in fact the emails he received from his child were fraud and phishing. As an accountant he should have acted in his own and his wife's behalf, just like he would advise a client experiencing something like this. He should have assumed the worst, not the best, of his child, in my opinion, and acted accordingly.

      Do you know why he told her to get soda? They kept sodas in a small fridge in the basement, in the same room he shot them. Telling her to get soda, and that he's working was done to get her to walk directly into the basement when she got home, where he was waiting with his rifle to shoot. He probably didn't have enough time to move or clean up after his dad, so she likely found him in the basement right before it happened.

      Agreed. Chandler has a right to a fair trial and his defense team had to do their best to give him that, no matter how bad the evidence was. You can't compete with that Mountain of evidence. So it's their job to save him from the death penalty or get the lowest sentence possible.

      Just as Grant Amato did. He wanted to stay home and go online with his Bulgarian cam model forever and live off his parents money. When the "jig was up" so to speak they both murdered their parents thinking that would "solve" all of their problems. I truly believe there must have been SOME signs of psychopathy with both of these men (as well as Joel Guy) earlier in life. People don't just wake up one day and become a psychopath. @Jimmy Kartounii how do you know how tender his parents love and care was? maybe he started lying because he knew he couldn't meet expectations or cope with the level of criticism he was getting, and it spiralled out of control. we can only guess.

    • @jeneticallymodified1
      @jeneticallymodified1 2 роки тому +2

      @Jimmy Kartounii most children begin to grapple with the concept of lies around 2 or 3. remember that psychopaths and sociopaths are not just born but also made. if a child does not receive consistent affection and feel secure in the dynamic, the parts of the brain to do with bonding and love are not always activated. if that doesn't start being used by around aged 5, it never works. and children who grow up stressed, can often learn that the truth isn't neccesarily the right answer to avoid a beating or grounding or shaming. if the child is doing their best in school and failing regardless, and nobody believes them when they say the letters dance in front of their eyes on the page, and tell them they're lazy again and again, of course some children will decide to tell their parents they got a higher grade. some will blend fantasy and fiction- and until 12 many aren't quite there with lies censoring the urge to exaggerate. lies can become every day coping strategies. holes they can't dig back out of. child development is a very complicated thing.

    • @jeneticallymodified1
      @jeneticallymodified1 2 роки тому +2

      @Jimmy Kartounii all children lie as toddlers. it's actually a real developmental stage. they start to understand that they're an individual. they start to understand and use yes and no. then they try out using no where yes should be, and realise that doing so results in a different outcome. then they do naughty things because they can move around and open bottles now. then they insist that they didn't smear nutella on the couch, rub vaseline on the cat's butt incase it had diaper rash like the baby, and smear mummys lipstick all over their little brother's head while he was napping. and they're stunned when the lie doesn't convince us because babies don't have life experience. then they begin to learn to lie better. ;-) have you not spent any time around small children. they're very funny and quite predictably bad liars for the most part. a very small few are terrifying. they're like little wolves amidst the sheep, and you can envisage their sickening futures- knowing that it's unlikely what's broken or absent inside them can ever be fixed.

      I think this is an example where the defense attorneys were not doing him any favors. There wasn't any evidence entered to indicate he used that tape measure for that purpose - it was merely in the area. They should have mentioned that as an example of the prosecution's lack of integrity or deception or whatever. They could have asked whether the tape measure was drenched in blood. If it wasn't, why not if it was really used for that purpose. Same story with the tiny little fan - pure speculation with zero evidence. Good defense attorneys are not going to let the prosecutor get away with unfounded speculation.

Cat was also fortunate enough to not catch onto the depravity occurring at that time. Her innocence was what kept her alive. She saw the good in everyone. Just to backtrack in her thoughts that she was spent the night with Chandler in a house with the dismembered parents will haunt her for decades. The dogs acting off because they witnessed the crime. Cat thought it was because they were missing Bart and Krista. In reality, animals are traumatized by all they saw. Thank God Cat made it out alive.

      IslanderB, I've thought of that alot. It's one thing to know that an ex-lover committed a horrendous murder. But, how traumatizing in her case...the smells in the house, intimacy with a vicious killer, while the "bodies" are so close by. It surely haunts Cat, Dulce, and Cres. I sincerely wonder how they are now. If Dulce & Cres are still together. If the pool was ever used again; or even if she still owns that farm.

      s so obvious from the questions the attorneys asked her, they were keeping her involvement out of the case and Cat's answers proved she is not telling the entire story. Even the press is not printing or showing anything about her. It's really obvious. The usual protocol is to continue to question those in close contact with any murder suspect, especially someone who slept in the same house where the murders, burnings and cutting, and removing of the bodies took place. It's ridiculous how they tiptoed around the fact she was there with him, immediately after he killed and burned them. Then bringing cleaning supplies and ice, which he obviously used to preserve the body parts.
      She slept IN THE ROOM he killed them and burned them, and near the freezer.
      Clearly, this guy had profound mental health issues and all anyone can focus on is the horrific way it manifested - does no one want to know WHY and maybe prevent this from happening in another family?
      KillerKat as she goes by online was no Victim, she knew all about his lies from the beginning his many ex-girlfriends will attest to that. This fact alone debunks the narrative that was been fed of this naive gullible girl duped by this psyco.
      Rubbish, she actually enabled him.

    I was thinking, an obvious defense to build would have been one of "chandler was terrified of and terrorized by his father. And when his army friend gave him a rifle, suddenly, for the first time in his entire life of living in terror of his father, Chandler had a way to defend himself. He didn't use it right away. Two weeks went by, of screaming, assault, belittlement, and his fathers rage. On July 1st, in fear of his life, he finally defended himself. He distracted his father as Bart came at him, and while he was looking away, Chandler shot him."
    Then spin the thing as "He was going to come clean to his mother, and when she came home and told him how she was going to kill him for what he had done, still holding onto the rifle for dear life, he shot her in a panic."
    Then obviously dress up the dismemberment as panic and trauma response. Go for a self defense and mental collapse angle where you could challenge the charge of premeditation and get him off the hook that way.
    Tbh, this all probably occurred to the defense, and I'd like to think they simply had the integrity to not drag his parents memory through the mud. Which is a nice thought on the tail end of an absolute shitshow, so I'll go with that.

      He's 28 now .we have no relationship because I keep up boundaries
      So maybe that's why I'm kind of obsessed with this trial

      Parents that are trying to just help their child get ahead start in adult hood could be lied to without being out of touch. I know a couple whose son lied, stold not only from them, but anyone he could, told them in was in formal education, working part time. None of it was true. He kept up the appearance, paid for his own hair cuts, cigarettes, whatever. He was using money he had stolen, or items and would sell them for money
      It was over a year when he was found out, sent to jail. Parents were shocked. They didnt ask for anything such as rent, just expected him to get his education and pay for his personal wants. This mother may have been in denial, the father figured Chandler was at the very least, lying. When confrontation came about, Chandler had already planned what he would do to continue HIS lifestyle.

There was so much: exhibts from home surveillance video frames, trace phone cell tower locations & chat gps, blood dna, bone fracture matching, fire and burn experts, footwear, fingerprints, tool and gun experts... just so much detail. I bet Chaz is feeling pretty unintelligent and like a child. I mean come on dude.
