I thought the same thing and has seen similar reactions to how they were handling the case. I thought there cross of her was very well done and was shocked that others I listened to were very unhappy with it. He proved that the minute she was asked anything off script she couldn't remember. Other things she can remember with great detail, but not what she had for breakfast. They completed what they needed to do without attacking.

Yes!! He should find someone who loves him for who he is, not what they can get from him, or for their own self image and security. This woman is a leach to everyone she meets, a sapper of the human soul. She's only interested what's good and beneficial to herself. No ability to feel compassion and empathy, yet deathly afraid of feeling left alone. She believes that she should be coddled and spoiled, taken care of, and shouldn't have to inconvenience herself in anything or with anyone. Entitlement in its most extreme form. She's always a victim in her own mind, because she only perceives others faults and shortcomings, especially towards her, and never respects or appreciates their attributes or qualities. She views the entire world through a lens of self victimization. When she doesn't get what she wants, it's because it's unfair, and a sign of disrespect. She's incapable of feeling love.

This was so powerful. A pivotal moment for the entire case. He’s very precise in describing exactly what happened. I really loved his response to the reporters at the end.
Sarah tried to manipulate the system and for a long time she got away with it.
I actually felt like she was a victim and snapped when they brought out the pictures. But when they played the video of Jorge sitting on the floor I instantly realized she was the aggressor. She was the one poking and provoking and he through reactive abuse fought back.
Sarah is an undiagnosed narcissistic psychopath.
She implemented the narcissistic cycle of abuse in her relationships.
The prosecution did an amazing job of explaining exactly what happened here.
Owens too .. he tried to fight for her and I believe he went into it knowing that she would not win. She only has her own self to blame because she wanted to be in control.
I’m ready for the sentencing so that Jorge’s family will have their moment to be heard and true healing can begin.
Let me add Judge Michael Kranick was a fair judge who maintained order and was very considerate in allowing the arguments fairly. Pretty sure he felt she was guilty from the start. Especially when he seen the video.

Great analysis 👏🏾👏🏾 I also give respect to Mr. Owens for stepping in to help Sarah at the last minute. I think most lawyers, including Owens himself, knew that this was a losing case. It was cut and dry for the Prosecutors but they swooped in and gave her a fair shot. This thing would've been a complete mess of explaining each and every step to Sarah had he not jumped in. She complained for so long about having a fair trial and Mr. Owens and team helped to ensure that she got exactly that. Now, we wait to find out her fate. I think she's going to blame everyone under the sun except herself when Judge K kindly hands her those decades she has to spend in Prison 😬😳

She had videos of herself psychologically abusing Jorge. She had him bash the TV so she could film him and claim it was proof of his violence. She liked to film things… so you’re telling me that this poor poor battered woman never turned the phone on to record him when he was actually being violent and abusing her? Not even once when he was being verbally abusive to her? Bish, please!! 🙄
Clearly she controlled every aspect of their relationship. She infantilized him. She berated him. She treated him like trash. All so she could feel better about herself. She was just as much an alcoholic as he was and the thought that she, the smartest person who excels at everything, was actually a loser was eating her up inside. Not enough to stop drinking and get her life together but enough that it made her feel better about herself to think, “at least I’m not as much of a loser as Jorge.” So she constantly made sure to tell him what a loser he was. She constantly picked fights with him. She regularly called the cops to punish him and play victim. All so she could feel better about herself because she’s a malignant narcissist who was no doubt massively insecure even before she became a drunk.

I didn’t even want to continue watching I was so angry that he didn’t hold her feet to the fire over her lies. Then I watched the rebuttal case and the videos she took of Jorge, I was shocked and with this brilliant rebuttal following the defenses “ ahh shucks ma’am , we ain’t nothing but good ole country folk “ closing I was celebrating. I think Mr. Jay was easy on her whiie on the stand because he didn't want to come across to the jury as uncaring. She was going with the BSS defense so i believe he asked the right questions that pertained to her inconsistencies and when he said, You don't remember much that day, do you? Was the one question i was waiting for because you can't have it both ways, be that intoxicated that you only remember certain events and whatever that she deemed wasn't relevant. She's so dumb that she was willing to purjur herself when she explained to the jury that she did indeed remember making the video. If she went with her original story, she would have had no defense. So she had to admit to hurting him and taunting him ehile he was trapped so she could say she was abused daily from Jorge.
I was really hoping she was going to stay pro say because that would have been a whole other trial 😅

  • @SydMountaineer
    @SydMountaineer 10 днів тому +6

I think that after Sarah beat him badly, thinking he might die from the injuries (he might’ve been partly or fully unconscious after the head injury) she remembered what CPS told her when they questioned her about the photos of her son in the suitcase (that it’s dangerous & causes suffocation) so she decided to allow him to die from suffocation in the suitcase rather than possibly die from her beating him - it distances her from it in her mind, via her distorted, dark, narcissistic lens that she experience reality through. Narcissists get rid of any information that challenges the narrative they construct that excuses their behaviors. Then, they concoct fillers, invent plug-in stories for the gaps in their memory of what really happened (confabulations) that often change, and is what we see as lies.
I think she put him in the suitcase (maybe he was partly or fully unconscious at the time) to ‘distance’ herself from his possible death from the beating, and to give herself time to think - she’d rather him die than be arrested for beating him so badly, and maybe she pushed it down the stairs with him in it to ‘finish the job’ so she wouldn’t have to SEE him die - like with how she delayed calling the police the next morning when he WAS dead, I think she was scared of being arrested for his beating, so she put him in the suitcase to blame it on that, like the suitcase is a perpetrator that distances her.
She KNEW the beating she gave him was so bad that it couldn’t be hidden, that he’d have to get medical care, but IF she let him out, getting medical care would also mean her being arrested ASAP.
I think her narcissism convinced her (dissociation & confabulation) that he would die from suffocation rather than the beating she gave him (like she said to police “maybe he suffocated”) which, in her mind, *distances HER* from the cause of his death, so she’d rather let him die from suffocation so she could blame it on that, rather than possibly from the other injuries she caused (she likely hit him in the head with the bat) and she couldn’t know exactly how severe it was, so she might’ve thought, at least for a while, if he was unconscious at some point, that he would die regardless, from the beating, so she *made the decision to keep him in the suitcase to suffocate,* it distances her, in her mind, from being his murderer.
The majority of the time when narcissists lie, it’s not for the purpose of deceiving others, it’s because they TRULY believe their lies - dissociation & confabulation (confabulation is what we see as lies) - it’s what the defense mechanism of narcissism makes them believe to “protect” their inner self.
