You do know the reason why he killed his parents, right? Because they found out his working and school life were a figment of his imagination.
Chandler couldn’t be honest with himself how was he going to be honest with anyone else? He lived in a fantasy world that he never wanted to leave, but his parents were forcing him to grow up and that made widdle Chaz very upset…and he showed them how much.
So now the penal system will be responsible for his care and he won’t have to worry with those pesky details.
Mitchell should sue him for emotional trauma and then donate it to a good cause maybe a therapy group to rehabilitate freeloaders.

Thank goodness his girlfriend just so happened to screen shot his location the day he disposed of his moms legs. Had she not done that they probably would have never found his mom. His girlfriend probably caught him in a lie because he told her he was doing one thing and she saw his location as being somewhere else and most likely screen shot it to question him about it. I’m sure he fed her some lie as to why he was there. Most likely he was having a horrible day and needed to vent or had a “breakdown” like he said he was doing at the farm when disposing of his fathers torso.

To sit there and have zero expression or empathy, just even to his parents missing, I just can't grasp. If he thinks he's so innocent it definitely doesn't show. I know if I was on trial for anything close to this and not had done it, I'd be freaking out and proving with my actions I didn't do it. Its just a natural thing. No one just accepts a life sentence for something they didn't do especially quietly. No emotion in the police interview or the news clips. His defense team knows there's nothing they can do. They have zero emotion too. They seem defeated.

I saw the curly, dark-haired prosecutor interviewed about this experience; very interesting. Defense lawyers sometimes must take what they're given; it becomes a game of strategy and logic, and not necessarily a personality rendezvous. It must be very difficult, until they become accostumed to managing these cases. I certainly would not choose to be a criminal defense attorney, and admire their professionalism.
That said, a number of people opined that the defense could have been more active in their defense, doing more cross-examinations (not just the repeated, polite "no thank you"). Intriguing, all of it.

It was a lie, along with Cat also known as KillerKat tried to dispose of the body parts. in their haste, they made a lot of mistakes.
While Cat was on the stand the trained eye can tell that the attorney was trapping her in her own lies under oath and she can't back out of when her trial comes. up
For Transparency and to quell all speculation Release the GF full unedited police interview. She's innocent Right.
After watching the entire uncut testimony of Cat, I got the impression that she knows more, and hiding info, in the aftermath. They should release her police interviews for the public too. She completely freaked out on the stand talking about the ride in the police car and interview and after an attorney said she threw up and cried when she got to the police station, and she admitted that..just shows more terror in being exposed to being involved in some of it. An innocent person would be eager to go to the police station and answer any and all questions in the hope to help. Not freak out and throw up. That doesn't add up. And they never told her about anything at that point, only kindly asking questions. But we weren't there and may never know. It's very suspicious that they aren't releasing her police interview.

The last 20 minutes was brutal and not because of the topic of conversation but because of the detective…
It kind of bothers me that the female detective goes on stand and smiles pretty for the camera,. It feels a little disrespectful to the situation to display vanity at inappropriate moments. Maybe it’s a nervous thing and I get that cause I’m awkward when a camera is on me. She smiles big at the start and end of talking and she did this on another time she was on the stand…It’s really off putting. She’s beautiful and has a lovely smile but when you’re talking about a kid who dismembers his parents maybe going in and smiling while looking excitedly directly at the camera is a super bad look and vibe.
She was so difficult to ummm, listen to cause ummm she kept ummm saying ummm ummm every three words or so ummm. It makes me ummm wonder ummm if she ummm talks to ummm every umm person ummm like this ummm ….. it was really umm really umm annoying
Did anyone else notice this? She’s clearly an intelligent woman seeing as how she’s a detective but all the “ummms” and vanity make her appear like she lack empathy and is not confident on the topic or her answers. She’s got to be a badass to do what she does and the ummms really detract from that.
