I learned the hard way as well, bought a “rebuilt” front driveshaft for my 09’ 3500 and it also did not have the cardon grease point, so I figured the same. Oh well, it must have a “sealed” fitting….wrong, it lasted about 10k miles and it turned into a vibrating mess. I since had that same driveshaft completely rebuilt, the whole cardon assembly was cut off and had a “serviceable” joint welded on and had it balanced, now it’s buttery smooth at any speed plus it can be greased moving forward.
Red can be a difficult color sometimes especially on larger vehicles. I was a little iffy on the color of this truck originally, but it really grew on me
Have you seen the bank's differential cover for the rear? I have it on my truck and I'm really happy with it but he does a lot of fluid dynamics videos on why not to run the flatbacks.
If you are talking about my open ended wrench, all of mine are gearwrench set I got years ago - amzn.to/3F11JPC They have been great for me, I recommend them!
FYI. My 2003 does NOT have one. Two different driveline shops confirmed it for me. Factory driveshaft. I also don't have the sticker on the rad support. This must have been something they started after 2004.5 models. I simply remove mine unless it's winter months as I live in PA.

Oh man, hopefully I dont run into the same issues. Thanks for the info!
Sweet lookin truck. I don't like red paint on trucks but this looks good. A good darker shade of red.. 💪😎

I have! If I didn't already have this one, I would have gone with theirs. Big fan of the way Banks takes the time to really engineer their parts
Good video I'm surprised you hadn't learned about the grease point on the cardan joint
Yea, kicking myself for that one. Thanks for watching!
What are the chrome pieces called on the side of your doors trying to get some for my truck
I don't know what the are officially called but I have always referred to them as rub strips, door molding or door trim. Hope that helps you out
Can you please post a link to the wrench you used for the 5/8 bolts.

Interesting...I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the info!
T40 is the size??
Once that obnoxious music started I was done. See ya!
Is it the music choice, or that there is music at all? Serious question. I am always looking to improve the videos

Music choice and volume.
